Negresco Beach Club

Highly recommend! Very friendly staff. The girls at reception were polite and welcoming, and immediately found us a table. Service was outstanding — Nathalie and Theo took wonderful care of us during our visit. The food was delicious, everything was quick and excellent. Our child received small gift, tasty food, and all our requests were taken into account. We will definitely come back!

I made a reservation at the beach club for my boyfriend's birthday and we had the best day. Our server, Julien, offered incredible service! We absolutely loved him. We stayed at the club from about 12pm-6pm and did not want to leave. We had front row chairs, so it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. The chairs were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean, though you do have to pay $10 extra for towels to shower afterward if you are not staying at the hotel. That would be my only complaint, otherwise, everything was amazing. We spent two different days at the Negresco Beach Club and both were fantastic. The staff here is superb — attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Everything we ordered was excellent, from the food to the wine, and the setting couldn’t be more relaxing. Our beach server, Julien, made the experience even better. We spoke Italian, French, and English with him, and he was patient with our efforts in all three languages. His recommendations were spot-on — including suggesting a less expensive wine than the one I was going to order, simply because it was the better choice. That kind of honesty and care is rare and very much appreciated. It’s not an inexpensive day, but you absolutely get what you pay for: comfort, service, and the luxury of complete relaxation. We enjoyed it so much the first time that we came back again a week later. One practical tip: remember that the beach in Nice is made up of smooth, rounded stones, not sand, so bring beach shoes if you plan on walking in and out of the water. Highly recommended for anyone looking to combine the best of Nice — great service, great food, and the Riviera setting — in one perfect city beach day.

Our experience at Negresco Plage in Nice was flawless from start to finish. The setting is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear Mediterranean waters just steps away and the legendary Promenade des Anglais as the backdrop. The private plage is beautifully maintained — clean, comfortable, and with a touch of elegance that matches the iconic Hôtel Negresco. The loungers are spacious and perfectly arranged to give you both comfort and a bit of privacy, while attentive staff make sure you have everything you need, from chilled drinks to light bites, without ever feeling rushed. The water access is easy and safe, and the atmosphere feels exclusive yet relaxed — you truly feel like you’re enjoying a piece of the French Riviera at its best. Everything was perfect — the service, the food, the views, and the serene luxury of having a private stretch of beach to unwind on. Negresco Plage is a place where you can simply switch off, soak in the sun, and enjoy life at its finest.

Absolutely beautiful—visually stunning, with such kind and welcoming people. I loved my day here and wished I'd found it earlier. Sunbeds are €70 for the first row and €55 for the others, with a towel included. If you’re not in the mood to swim, you can simply enjoy food and drinks in the lounge area. Loved the fresh coconut (from Thailand) as the perfect refreshing drink. Sunbeds close at 6 p.m., but the lounge and restaurant stay open into the evening. I especially loved the French Bloom non-alcoholic rosé for a special French Rivera rosé moment. I didn't see it on the menu but the kind waitress recommended it. It’s a wonderful spot for a relaxed yet lovely sunset. I even saw a magical rainbow. Thank you, Le Negresco, for making my last day in France so memorable.

La plage is a beach club where your glass is always full ). Been to castle and ruhl beach clubs on the same seashore. Castle has the purest water because of the cliff. Ruhl has good nicoise salad. La plage has the best comfort, service, nicest people and larger distance between sunbeds. It is also sligjtly more expensive than other clubs but they deserve it. Want to be on the front raw of beach experience? La plage is the right choice

I came to Negresco beach 3 times. The first one, me and my friend came together with intention to spend day on the beach. When we came to welcome desk, there were 3(!) workers but nobody gave any attention to us. We were waiting for 10(!!!) mins and I even double checked if we came to the right beach club because we expected 5 star hotel service which we get used to have in other fancy places. While we were waiting, the telephone rang and in front of our faces receptionist booked sunbed for the one who was on the call. Then finally they asked us what we want and when I asked for sunbed, they said the last was just booked by this call… I tried to explain that this is insane to ignore us for 10 mins and to book it by phone but it has appeared that this worker didn’t speak english well. Which is a nonsense for a beach club of 5 star hotel. In the end, I just asked for booking for another day because first experience was horrible but the place has a lot of great reviews so I wanted to give them the second chance. The second time was better. The waitress Alex (I hope I remember his name correctly) was super nice and it finally felt as something close to 5 star hotel service. However, the food was pretty basic and not much choice in the menu. But as I overall enjoyed my stay, I’ve decided to come for the third time. And the third one wasn’t as good as the second. The food was even worse and the sea was dirty. I don’t understand why they didn’t clean it, it could be done easily. Like in 100 meters after beach club, there is public beach with no rubbish in the sea, but you pay 200-300€ per day to stay in the beach with dirty water and feeling odd because of this. Overall given my 3 times experience, I’d say this is definitely not 5 star hotel experience mostly because of the food and some stuff. However, there are no other good beach clubs in the Nice and this one has really good facilities so it’s worthy to visit but don’t expect much and don’t come hungry 😀
