Negril Yoga Centre

Scrumptious, fresh daily, local fruits& veggies cooked to order& served in a fragrant garden setting. Simple but comfortable rooms with night time ocean breezes to cool you, a quiet hammock to read or nap in, the blue waters of the Carribean a short walk away- what more could anyone wish for/ oh yes, the yoga classes, of course.i loved my time there . Hostess& chefs so personable& friendly, can't wait to spend a month there next year!

Great place for cheap bed. Really amazing and helpful stuff was always around. You can get great yoga course two times a day. During out stay they had some troubles with water so we had to use shower in other side of whole area. Actually it wasnt any trouble since they have warm water as well. You can buy fresh fruit at a door every morning.

Great hideout just across the street from the beach and the entire staff is kind, caring, beautiful and loving. The cooks are creative and make delicious meals. Would visit again except the warm water is bare to none and took many cold showers.

This place is great... but there were no hot water as they said it would have. The rooms were always kept clean... everyday during our stay the maid cleaned our room. Bathroom needs upgrade. More comfortable sheets. Just give the whole facility an upgrade. Overall peaceful and perfect sanctuary for meditation and relaxation.

If you are offered any room for $50 per night under the guise of a deal online DO NOT TAKE IT! It is not a deal. You get what you pay for. The room was liveable...very very humble. The centre is walking distance away from the town and beach which was great. The bathroom, however, was outdoors and was to be shared with another guest/can be used by other guests(for two particular rooms called "likkle 1 and 2" or so). The wifi was poor, you need to have your own data. The office personnel was very rude. She was pleasant while she was before us, however, I overheard her conversation with another worker afterward. We asked about a complimentary breakfast because we saw it advertised and her response was, to another worker, "They expect to get breakfast with that kind of money?" Mind you, my boyfriend and I were under the impression that we were getting a discount on their standard charge not that we were receiving a lesser service. At one point the other employee relayed to her that we were not sure if we were staying. To which she responded, "Of course they're staying. It's not like they have anywhere else to go." Indeed we stayed because we were booking last minute and late at night, however, we stayed one night only and moved to The SOV Resort for the rest of our vacation. (Very lovely so far and absolutely pleasant staff) The security guard at the Yoga Centre was pleasant. Note that yoga classes are at a cost of $10 per hr for overnight guests. The regular priced rooms should be fine, considering this is not a hotel. The point is just not to fall for anything labelled as a deal. After my experience, I would not stay any longer than I have to even though I could book another room. Very insulting receptionist.

My son & I stayed at The Yoga Negril Centre. We enjoyed our vacation. We felt at home and the hospitality was amazing! I had hot water and a fan at night. We stayed in Case Blanca 1; Very comfortable.The staff was top notch. First of all, Kenroy the security personnel, was so helpful and cool. He was so kind and professional. Annette the chef/cook made soulful good breakfast every morning. Tip the employees each day. They don't expect or ask, yet they are so deserving...so don't be cheap! The atmosphere was so relaxing and nice. Tropical plants everywhere!! Cool vibes. The beaches are across the street. Take a safe cab at night, so do not walk around outside Negril at night, just to be safe. Take a taxi with a red license plate. It should be $500 JA one way into town. Have fun mon! Relax! Show Respect, Get Respect! I read some of the previous reviews....and keep in mind if you're usually a spoiled individual, then go to an all inclusive. This place is more laid back and chill with no tv's okay!! You're supposed to keep an honest note of what you bought from the kitchen. Write it down each day what you ordered. It's as simple as that! If you like nature and relaxing then this is your place :)

Think twice before staying here. The yoga studio is located about 10 ft from the busy road, so the sound of traffic and honking and loud vehicles made it difficult to enjoy yoga. It also made it very difficult to sleep, since the rooms have no glass in the windows or anything to really keep noise out. If you did not book yoga in advance, the instructors did not show up and the staff can be difficult to track down when you need them or in order to make a reservation or request. Overall not a great experience - coming from someone that was expecting very little given that this is a hostel.

I loved the people and the experience I had. The accomodations could have been much nicer. No hot water, shower was leaking. Much of the menu was not available. I suppose it was meant to be rustic.
