I really enjoyed my dinning experience here. The owners, Rafael and Nicolas, were so friendly and welcoming. The food was superb. I ordered a Mexican burrito and their red salsa was my favorite. This place has everything. If you are ever in the Beverly Hills areas and craving something with flavors, this is the place to go. Rafael and Nicolas were very nice owners. Time to time, they experiment with their menus and create new dishes. But in all honesty, they were the most humbling, sweet people I've ever met. I highly recommend this place.

Google
Service was fast and friendly. Did not skimp on the chef salad. Could even split it if you weren’t starving like I was when I got it. Also got an iced coffee, total for coffee and salad was $18

The restaurant is warm and cozy place with tasty Mexican food. We ordered veggie sandwich with pesto and it was in good quantity for one person to eat. The taste was so good. They also served mashed potatoes as complimentary and it was delicious. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and welcoming person.

Google
Hello! First time visit... I had the Burrito de Asada. At first, I had my reservations... No ranchera, aka., Skirt steak. Yes, there's a huge difference. But nonetheless, i did enjoy my burrito. Home made beans and rice, well done. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures. I will definitely go back to try their other Mexican dishes. Oh and by the way...their salsa casera was delicious, just needed a little salt. 😋

Yelp
My son and I got a pretty good bean and cheese burrito and it cost less than $9! That is a great deal these days. The owner was very helpful and kind. The ambience is casual and unpretentious.

Yelp
This place has the sweetest employees and their food is amazing! Their menu is extensive, but I've only ordered burritos and soup here. The soup is so rich in flavor and filled with lots of veggies and meat. The burritos are all yummy too! It's definitely a casual spot where most people take food to go, but there is minimal seating inside and outside.

Yelp
Be careful here. When I paid for lunch today, the cashier didn't swing around the touch pad so I that I can select a tip amount and just gave himself a 25% tip. Very shady.

Yelp
Ordered the Tuna with sweet corn on toasted sourdough, it was a little dry, but nothing extra spread can't fix next time. It was a refreshing taste, healthier and fresher than popular fast food chains; can't go wrong with that. To spice up my sandwich I opted for the following: Bacon Light sprinkle of shredded cheese Toasted Sourdough Bread Cons: besides the dryness, I can only gripe that one napkin was given.

Yelp
$11 for the smallest burrito with no drink is insane, came here one day to grab lunch and had ordered a carne asada burrito with cheese, had to wait over 20 mins and not sure why especially since there was no one else in line but me, when I finally got my burrito, not to mention I barely had little to no time to eat it since my lunch was about to be over, I had asked for it with cheese and there was no cheese whatsoever and the burrito itself was very bland, carne asada had so seasoning whatsoever and the burrito itself wasn't warm, was cold when I got it smh, will not be coming back here again and I don't think people should come here at in general

Yelp
I almost walked by with my friend but something caught out attention, we went inside and oh well, wonderful decision, the attention is great and the food, I am Mexican and I can tell you, the food in this place is really, really good, we will Be back again very soon.

Yelp
This. Place... ‍ it's AMAZING! I've come here multiple times for a quick lunch and I usually get the Carne Asada Torta, (you Have to try it, it's perfect) but today I decided to try the Spicy Bulgogi Sandwich. I can't tell which one I like more, but it's the most delicious confusion I could ask for. The staff actually care and you can see it in the service and taste it in the food, which is consistently delicious. The prices are amazing, not just "good for Beverly Hills", but good for anywhere. The portions are also very generous. The NeighborHOOD Cafe is a Must Try.

Yelp
Let's get this out of the way: Mexican food apparently is thing to get here. As much as they say everything is good when you ask them, the pastrami and jalapeño sandwich I had wasn't even up to the quality of the cafeteria at work; the bread in particular was food service grade through and through. But what really sealed the rating was vegetable beef soup, which was a salty and unappealing thing of cabbage and what was probably pastrami ends. The sandwich might almost be acceptable in some context as mentioned above... the soup was decidedly a step below. At least add some carrots for color???

Yelp
Excelente food- they even serve authentic Mexican food!! I love everything they make, delicious !!

Yelp
This is a terrific establishment. Affordable prices, wonderful service, plenty of variety, and convenient location. It is tucked away just off Beverly on Charleville, but it's far superior to most of the establishments nearby at a fraction of the cost. I've gotten the breakfast burrito, Chinese chicken salad, and curry chicken salad. Everything else there looks fantastic and I'm excited to try more.

Yelp
I have passed the Hood a million times but today I decided to give it a try I couldn't decide if I wanted Mexican food or a Cobb salad, but in the end I saw a photo of a steak sandwich and under the photo it read - Korean Bulgogi steak sandwich My mouth watered so that is what I ordered I paid 10.95 and ten minutes later I took the sandwich home OMFG! The sauce on this sandwich was awesome! The bulgogi was nicely marinated in Korean sauce and laid out on a very good French baguette with lettuce, tomatoes and some other goodies and lathered with this amazing redish sauce that had a delicious kick to it Highly recommend it and I will be back for more of these

Yelp
Great sandwiches, great service. The chef is very accommodating and tailors each order for every customer.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time today. Ordered a bean and cheese burrito and halfway through, bit right into a rock. My tooth is now chipped.

Yelp
I love the food and service. My work is very close to them and sometimes when I order while in a rush, they will deliver it to me. Friendly people who try to please. George Vreeland Hill

Yelp
Great vibe. Perfect place for a high quality pre-made sandwich on fresh bread, a great cup of a coffee, and nice atmosphere to hang out in. Happened to sit near the business owner who has a fantastic outlook on their business. I appreciate the dedication to the staff and the customers. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Very disappointing since I work close by and was looking for a good neighborhood spot. I ordered a 3 cheese panini which according to the yelp menu is supposed to be $8 and some change and also include a side. When I got to the restaurant to pick up my food it was $12! It also did not come with a side. Regardless of the price the food itself was not that great. There was more tomato than cheese on the panini and the bread was hardly toasted. Will not be returning.

Yelp
High quality lunch in Beverly Hills for less than $12? Sign me up! great bulgogi sandwich

Yelp
Delivery time horrible, I ordered delivery from this establishment at 12:51pm on 3/26/18 didn't receive my order until 2:41pm called the restaurant and they told me the delivery person was out on delivery at 2:15pm. I will never order from here again no matter how good the food is. This is ridiculous.

Elysse T.

Yelp
"What'd you have for lunch today, Elysse?" "A sandwich from the HOOD." "What? A chicken and waffle sandwich from Leimert Park?" LOL. My coworker cracks me up. I had the albacore and sweet corn and it was so fresh and delicious. Delivery was FREE and SO FAST... like less than 20 minutes fast. And that's something that plays a big part on where I'm going to order lunch from when I'm famished at work! Love it. Each sandwich comes with a side Caesar's. Very decently priced and an extensive menu with lots of choices... a lot being healthy too! Looking forward to trying more of your menu!!!

Yelp
One of the worst salads I've had. Ordered the Cobb salad and the turkey was processed like Lunchables meat, the ranch was clearly Hidden Valley (when a) it was supposed to come with a vinaigrette and b) Cobb usually comes with blue cheese). Pretty sure even the Caesar and Chinese chicken salad was sent with ranch. Lettuce was fresh, prices are reasonable and delivery was at least fine and came early. Unfortunately, not enough to make me want to order from here again or dine in.

Yelp
Lovely place, conveniently located. Good food, good prices, nice people. Overall a nice spot to have in this area when you're looking for a yummy lunch.

Yelp
Stopped in for a burrito during my lunch break. They were pretty fast and the burrito was good.

Yelp
LOVE this local Beverly Hills place! I always order the breakfast burrito with half sausage/half chorizo!! I also love the steak tortas, yummmm!!!

Leslie J.

Yelp
5 stars for value, it's the best place for anyone working in the neighborhood because they have a range of salads, burritos, sandwiches etc. Decent Mexican food items, I think their best is the bulgogi sandwich or torta de tinga. -Must try- The plus is the free delivery, the downside is the hr long wait time to receive (when you're just down the street). You'll get harassed for not tipping so be sure to tip. More than half of the time you'll get your food slightly warm, or missing things so just know that too, I love / hate this place, take it for what you will.

Yelp
I live in the neighborhood, but had never been to this spot. I decided to try it one day for lunch, but was very disappointed by the level of customer service and attention from the staff. I can get by without a greeting, and don't require small talk, but when you ask me what kind of bread I want and then you walk off, only to return and ask "anything else?" without getting my bread response, there's much to be desired. Anyway I got through my order with the cashier less than engaged and had a seat waiting for my sandwich when another customer came in. Same lack of engagement with him. The cashier saw the customer, said nothing, walked away from the register and left the customer who was clearly ready to order left waiting. He waited so long that he ended up leaving. When the cashier returned he stepped out from behind the counter to see if the customer was still somewhere in the dining area, but didn't see him so he looked at me knowing we both knew the customer left. Not really what I'd call neighborly service. Needless to say will probably not visit again anytime soon.

Yelp
Good homemade food , American-Mexican , good service and prices , cant beat it in BeverlyHills

Yelp
Best "hole in the wall" Mexican food in Beverly Hills, hands down. No frills...just reasonably priced, yummy tacos, burritos and Mexican coke served by some friendly hombres. I order the chicken taquitos once a week and it never disappoints; it comes with guacamole, rice, beans and sour cream. Delish!! No ambience to speak but the food is what keeps me coming back.

Yelp
Great spot for a quick eat . food is delicious there panini are the best . Would definitely recommend to my friends and co workers

Yelp
Wow. I can't believe I just paid $7 for the guy to pull out the soup from the fridge and just reheat it in the microwave. I thought for $7, they would have at least had fresh soup. Huge disappointment. Even though the service was borderline mediocre and terrible, I used to come here quite frequently because it was conveniently located to work. But after this incident, I drew the line and had enough. I am never coming back, ever again.

Yelp
The best service and food I have ever had so far. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who's just walking by or around there for a nice and delicious meal. Great atmosphere one of the staff even started a conversation with me (not a lot of places do that). All in all AMAZING PLACE GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE.

Yelp
I've been coming here at least once a week since the end of September.  I love this place for lunch - quick,  friendly, and yummy! I particularly enjoy and appreciate how friendly the staff is, makes the food that much more enjoyable. My favorite so far is the chicken pesto panini!

Yelp
Tasty, unique sandwiches. Fresh ingredients. Reasonably priced, even in Beverly Hills. It had all the traits I seek in women: fresh, clean, good, easy, cheap and free wifi. Boom.

Kishen H.

Yelp
My favorite thing about Mexican food is the flavor, the spices, the hospitality you receive. This place has 1 of those 3, the hospitality. The food on the other hand is a disgrace, there is no flavor, definitely no salt and paper. The spicy red sauce has an unappetizing, bitter flavor. The chef didn't understand the assignment. You'll have a better shot at Taco Bell or Chipotle.

marcos g.

Yelp
The staff is amazing and very resilient. Lunch hour typically gets busy here, but that's because they are nothing short of amazing/delicious. I go there very often for my lunch breaks and their food never disappoints. I recommend this place for anyone who wishes to have some good sandwiches or Mexican food.

Yelp
A lovely hidden gem in the heart of Beverly Hills. You've probably walked Pat it and didn't realize a delightful little restaurant was located there. This place is walking distance from my job. The two gentleman behind the counter where lovely and very professional. The food was delicious! Very flavorful! I'm intrigued on how their breakfast burritos taste like...maybe I'll try that next.

Yelp
Just found this place yesterday and is just a block away from my office,It has pretty healthy food and various snacks. I went for the asada burrito and it was good. Staff is friendly, place is clean, food made fresh, what else can you ask for?

Yelp
Once upon a Saturday afternoon, I stumbled upon this just-barely-off-the-beaten-path Beverly Hills Sandwich Shop. I'm certainly glad I did. Here's the executive summary: - The Zen sensibility of a sushi joint meets Soup, Salad, and a Sandie. - You won't be disappointed, it's very good quality food at non-Beverly-Hills-prices. - The details have been catered to, like dill in the Abacore Tuna Salad, Fruit Salad that is actually made of ripe fruit, and soup that you'll kill for 365 days a year. - Provides a sensible variety of sandwiches, Paninis, and Salads (and breakfast too). The real test of a sushi restaurant, is the Tuna. Anytime I sit down, armed with chopsticks, I must try the Tuna. An example of excellent Tuna can be found at Asanebo in the valley, it's just melt-in-your-mouth-delicious. Terrible Tuna can be found at the Canal Club in Venice - the bright-off-purple chewy, stringy variety - that a bath of Wasabi and Soya sauce couldn't come close to saving. In the same vein, when I test out a sandwich shop (think Fred Segal), the tuna sandwich is the best test. (by the way, Fred does a nice Tuna Sandwich, but that's a different article) As I walked down the ramp (accessible for all), I turned left, and saw what was an immaculate kitchen, and very simple straight forward display of specials, and menu items. As a rule I try not to look at a menu as it simply clouds the prefrontal cortex which is responsible for decision making, and when I'm hungry, there are far too many factors that cloud the decision (as an aside, if you're really hungry, it's not good to look at a menu - you should let your emotions guide you, and ask the server for what you want, or see something you like, and order it - quick!). The prefrontal cortex can only really manage 5 - 9 decision relevant criteria before is short circuits and you make a bad decision (like ordering the meatball sub at Subway), but I digress.... I ordered a half Albacore Tuna sandwich and soup of the day, which happened to be roasted vegetable. As I placed the order at the counter and collected my silverware and napkins on the way to one of the bistro style tables, I couldn't help but observe that all the details had been very nicely taken care of - drink selection, labels (any design student needs to go here just to view the space), displays with pretzels or mixed nuts to go, and the 18 foot bench that guards the middle wall with tables just in front. I found the space allows you to fully concentrate on consuming your food...speaking of which. The kinda-psychedelic colored tray arrived with a dark red, rich, bowl of vegetable soup, which was not your Campbells variety. I immediately dipped my spoon in, and was shocked at the potent flavor, all natural, no cream, just carrots, tomatoes, onions, red peppers - I can only fault it for the one tone red color - had it just a few kernels of corn, it would have provided a nice contrast - but wait for it, the Tuna Sandwich, which had a piece of Dill peeking out the side of the lightly toasted bread, was also laden with a few kernels of CORN! What a wonderful one-two punch! The toasted bread didn't tear up the top of your mouth, and the tuna salad wasn't mayo-saturated...it was just enough moisture. Both soup and salad were absolutely delicious. I had a nice little bowl of fruit salad, composed of the light green stuff, the light orange stuff, and strawberries. The strawberries were good, but what surprised me was the ripe honeydew melon and cantaloupe! I guess I've been eating at Norms far too often... This newly opened HOOD cafe is a very impressive newcomer, for Bev Hills Power lunchers, and casual diners alike, both of whom need-not pack a mighty monetary-punch to enjoy a quality lunch.

Yelp
Had the spicy chicken sandwich, which was pretty, pretty bomb. Perfect amount of spice. Great little side salad, too. Definitely getting it again!

Yelp
This is hands down the best Mexican food in Beverly Hills. Frida's who?? The cook has a great hand for Mexican food almost as good as my moms and those are big shoes to fill! Great place for lunch whether its sandwiches or Mexican food AND super affordable. I never leave hungry.
google avatar

Crystal C.

Yelp
Good choice for a quick lunch. It's a small hole in the wall but the food is just like I would expect from a homemade meal. Sopes with chorizo were good and the chicken taquitos as well. Both were fried to perfection without being too "oily".
google avatar

Yelp
Got a breakfast burrito here. This felt like a family owned business. So homey and authentic. The food was great and the service was amazing.

Yelp
I finally got the pleasure and opportunity to visit this amazing neighborhood find!!! The staff was incredibly friendly, the restaurant was super clean and the food was so fresh. I'm a thrilled it's in my neighborhood and had food I can eat and really enjoy. Veggie sandwich on toasted wheat with avocado instead of pesto AMAZING!

Mercedes M.

Yelp
Never been to this place but I have a daughter that likes this place and likes to go there for lunch but the worker there (short man with glasses) is very rude and that was enough for him to do to make the place ugly to go for lunch again.

Brenda L.

Yelp
I ordered the Chicken Taquitos. Just ok , it was bland definitely not worth $10. I guess I'm actually from the Hood and have had way better .
