"Chelsea Market, Meatpacking District by Alisha Austin. Chelsea Market is home to a wide array of shops and services. The building was once home to the National Biscuit Company (a.k.a. Nabisco) and you can find artifacts and artwork from its time as a baking facility. While the options of food are varied here, one of the reasons I like it is because of its variety of typography. Since it is also tourist location, you can also pick up traditional tourist items with the Chelsea Market logo on it."

Love, Love, LOVE! Where do I begin? The staff is cool and friendly, they make you feel welcome and appreciated. The merchandise is original and not the common blah stuff you find in most other stores. Neighborhood Goods has so many unique gift ideas, you practically cannot go wrong. The cafe area is open and breezy with an unencumbered feel. You’ve been working hard, shopping all day, so Grab a “So Gay Rose” and relax with a croissant - you deserve it!

A new type of department store—expertly curated. I made a beeline for my favorite minimalist brand, Modern Citizen. Other groovy brands on offer also, including Eat Chic Chocolates, vegan chocolates made in Brooklyn

Fabulous new “department store.” They curate different brands for 3-6 months at a time, e.g. Rothys, Rain, Taschen and many more. Great staff and beautifully designed store. I’m optimistic this place will be a big success. And will be opening a restaurant in the space early next year.

!!!!BOYCOTT THIS STORE!!!! The owners of neighborhood goods DO NOT PAY THEIR DESIGNERS. IF YOU UNDERSTAND HOW HARD IT IS TO BE A SMALL BUSINESS, if you CARE about the PEOPLE (often mostly WOMEN) behind the beautiful items in this store DO NOT SUPPORT THESE CRIMINALS WHATSOEVER. I have first hand knowledge of the theft perpetrated by Neighborhood Goods and anyone who associates/works with/for this brand. SHAME ON YOU. BOYCOTT THIS STORE!! Spread the WORD.

This review is for ordering from the Neighborhood Goods website. Absolutely terrible communication and CS. I can’t get ahold of anyone to return my item. No response or delayed minimal responses to both their email and their web form. Their website perks program does not work. My several thousand dollar bag came thrown into a box without the listed accessories and without padding or protection. Do NOT recommend! It was a shame because I was excited to hear about this company.

There is a shop that sells "pre-loved" brand name handbags. They have a tag that says certified authentic. My friend was looking at a Louis Vuitton handbag priced around $2k. I happen to know Louis Vuitton very well and can spot a fake from a mile away. I can tell from the way light is reflected on the leather, the thickness of the leather and how the leather moves when I touch it, and the patterns on the leather. I was immediately suspicious when I saw this bag because of the way it looked. Then my friend noticed that the seam was backwards on the piece of leather that held the drawstrings in place. I knew for sure LV would never make the mistake. So I picked up the bag and looked closely at the patterns and noticed how they weren't symmetrical and one of the flowers didn't print well. As I touched it I immediately knew it wasn't real LV leather. The guy who was friendly when we came in suddenly changed his demeanor as I started listing the reasons why the bag was fake. I believe he's the owner. An employee would probably react differently, shocked or curious or something. He knew that I knew. Not sure how he got away with setting up a fake bag shop at Chelsea Market. Be careful and don't get scammed. You can get these fake bags for a lot less off the street.

Very nice store. Love what they stand for and the variety of products but what really made the experience over the top was a worker named Jasmine C. (I asked her for her last name because I like writing reviews) She was so attentive, pleasant to speak with and very passionate about what she does and whom she speaks to. Please give her recognition because she really deserves it.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place on accident when we were visiting the noodle spot (separate review of that coming soon). And our time and experience went well! The vibes in here were so chill. Their style of clothing and jewelry is pretty cool. All the employees were super sweet and helpful. They even have a small café right when you enter from the inside. They also have one of those permanent bracelet companies (like the one from Love is Blind) which they also helped fix my bracelet, so huge kudos to the employees that helped! Overall, if you're at the Chelsea Market, this place is definitely worth visiting.

Yelp
Went here while exploring the Chelsea Market, and was pleasantly surprised. Was not expecting a place that had an open floor format that included apparel, lifestyle, jewelry, food, and bar sections. Nevertheless in a really clean, aesthetically pleasing way! We landed at the permanent 14k jewelry spot that took care of a broken bracelet my cousin needed to fix, which they did with no problem. The customer service from everyone was great, the staff was culturally diverse, and welcoming of everyone that came in. If you're thinking about coming through to this location to check out what they have, I think it's a no-brainer.

Yelp
I was just in here about a month ago & I purchased one of the cutest bags ever for my resort wear. I LOVE IT! It's such a stand out piece.

Yelp
I have to write this review. Tila (not sure I spell it right) was super friendly and cute!!!!!!! She recommend me some top to match with the bottom! I was gonna buy one dress but ended up found other good deals. Dresses here are unique and cute. LOVE it! Thank you Tila!

Yelp
The rudest employees I encountered on my trip to NYC. They refused to serve me even when I showed my vaccination card and ID. I will be filing a complaint this week.
