Where do I begin? First, it was our first time in this establishment and we didn't receive a single greeting from any of the associates. The one who attended us had her head on the countertop as if she did not want to be at work. Additionally, there seems to be some kind of stigma against men here, and I know that sounds strange. When my wife ordered it was a very kind experience, yet when I ordered it was met with scrutiny. Furthermore, we ordered a side of tempe bacon and didn't see it on the plate, so I approached the counter to ask and instead hear one of the associates ask "why is he just standing there? Do you know what he wants?" That's after she walked past me to give another customer her order.
The food wasn't great either, we ordered an egg sandwich with no cheese, we got an egg sandwich with cheese. We asked to redo it, we get an egg sandwich with half cheese on it. The most astonishing aspect was when we asked for a to-go containers and were told they do not have appropriate containers for the acai bowl we ordered. Instead were offered a cup. Eventually she did appear with small bowls.
We do not plan on coming back, this was unacceptable and quite unpleasant.
