Tucked away next to Green Park and nestled within the luxurious 1 Hotel Mayfair, Neighbours is a beautifully curated café with a warm atmosphere and genuinely kind staff. I ordered an iced matcha with vanilla syrup, and it was absolutely incredible easily one of the best I’ve had in London. While it is on the pricier side, the premium location and upscale environment more than justify the cost. Would I return? Without hesitation. It’s an ideal setting for working on creative projects, thanks to its calm ambience, comfortable seating, and natural lighting. There are power sockets located near the sofa seating areas, though they are limited and tend to fill up quickly so I’d recommend arriving early and bringing a portable charger as a backup. I also noticed a mouthwatering selection of cakes, cookies, and sandwiches that I’ll definitely be trying on my next visit. All in all, Neighbours offers a clean, tranquil, and elevated café experience perfect if you’re looking for a stylish yet peaceful workspace in central London.

Atmosphere and decor were great! But very disappointing that while I was drinking my matcha (which is green) I noticed my cup was brown on the inside, I wiped a small bit of it with my finger and the brown easily came out. I raised the concern with the staff who then told me it’s the type of material of the cup and that the dishwasher does not clean it properly. It did not sound believable to me as I could easily wipe the brown off with my finger, not to mention if you know the dishwasher does this then maybe it would be wise to wipe the cup before serving in it! Did not finish my drink, kinda gross!

A delightful little café that’s perfect for breakfast, a casual coffee with friends, or even some light hot-desking. It’s always buzzing with friendly faces and a young, lively crowd. There’s no table service, but you can just head to the counter and help yourself. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where you can feel right at home while enjoying a good coffee or snack.

I was recommended this cafe as a study cafe online so decided to check it out. Definitely not a study cafe, the vibe is too relaxed and chill, but definitely great to catch up with friends in the morning! Food is quite good, I ordered an oat cappuccino and their yoghurt pot for £13 which is a bit expensive but that’s Mayfair prices. It’s inside a hotel so everything feels safe and upscale, and the staff are so kind. Would recommend a visit!

Rude and entitled barista added 12% service charge for a takeaway without asking. Whilst it’s not a lot of money. It’s the principle. Not the kind of service you would expect at a 5 star establishment. Tips are optional if you felt you had good service. Great hotel and decor shame about the service.

Very nice place with good coffee. A bit expensive but relative to Mayfair prices. Appropriate place to study/work during the day, but is full pretty fast, it can be quite hard to find a seat. I would still recommend and go again !

It’s our first time to London and visited Neighbours in one morning for take-away coffees. The staff was busy chatting with one customer and ignoring us. Just saw the other Google review stating the same thing, so clearly it didn’t just happen to us. What’s more, the staff with blonde hair gave us faces as we are non-locals and paying in cash. Maybe that impression was close to call it ‘discrimination’. What a shame that she works in hospitality, let alone it’s a luxury hotel cafe. Travellers are from around the world and I guess it’s understandable that some still prefer using cash. Whatever her attitude was for racism or for the inconvenience, it’s the worst experience in my whole trip.

I just had a giggle with Roma at the coffee bar. Attentive, profession and welcoming from the moment she said hello. My first visit to Neighbours… and will most definitely be coming back. Thank you :) Great coffee too!
