I was excited to take my kids to this ice cream shop because it looked so kid-friendly, but the experience was awful from the moment we walked in. The first thing we noticed was a strong sewer smell. Tables were sticky and clearly hadn’t been wiped down, the trash cans were overflowing, and the windows were covered in fingerprints like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages.
On top of that, the employee working was incredibly rude. She rushed us, treated my kids poorly, and acted visibly annoyed rolling her eyes and blinking at us in irritation. She never once smiled and made the whole atmosphere unwelcoming.
I hadn’t been to this shop in years, so I wasn’t familiar with the area or “rules.” After getting our ice cream, I walked with my kids to the other side of the wall, which I later found out was the play area where food isn’t allowed. That rule is completely understandable but the way she told us was unnecessarily snotty and rude, which was the final straw. I just walked out at that point.
I even reached out to the owner about the experience, and instead of showing compassion or understanding, he dismissed me completely and sided with the employee. Owner told me not to bother responding because I’ll be blocked.
This place is very misleading. From the outside, it looks kid-friendly and welcoming, but inside it’s dirty, unfriendly, and the service is downright hostile. Would not recommend.
