I'll start with the salsa & chips - they make the chips so they're fresh, & the salsa tastes just like homemade, the chile flavor is 💯.
I got a combo plate & again the chile flavor was excellent & tasted delicious. My wife's tostada compuesta was also delicious.

The reviews were great so we thought we'd stop and check out this little gem. Both my husband and I had burritos for breakfast. My husband had the double and had to take one home, it was so filling. The meat was very tender and I would definitely go back again. The ranchero sauce was spot on spicy.

I am so bummed about the rumors of Nelly’s closing their doors forever.
I looked forward to having lunch at Nelly’s each and every-time I visited Cruces.
I would even order take out for every one of my family members in El Paso.
The Bañados were the order of choice. I hope the rumors are just that, RUMORS.

Green cheese enchiladas are amazing! the green chili sauce is amazing! Never too spicey. customer service is great. worth the wait when there is a line, but the service is very fast and wonderful!!!!

Best chili we have eaten anywhere. We try to stop whenever we are passing through from Texas to Arizona. We had the double burrito platter, huevos rancheros and green chili nachos. The green chili had some heat and he red chili had a smoky flavor. So good!

The process of getting seated and the service in generally can be frustrating - but the food makes up for it. Best green chile in Southern New Mexico.

Customer service was horrible!! Waited over 10 minutes for someone to take my order and the table was dirty . My drink was brought to me 7 minutes after I ordered it and they didn’t bother to give me ice. I didn’t get chips or salsa !! There was only 5 other people in there. I ended up canceling my order.

This is real deal "New Mexican" food! Definitely old school Las Cruces. Everybody here is so nice and the owner/manager is walking around making small talk and making sure everything is made the way it should be. One of our favorite spots in town to eat for sure! Very limited hours and the place gets packed so be prepared to wait for a table. I hoghly recommend this restaurant.
