Nelly Star Hotel

Nelly star hotel is a great place, super clean rooms, A/C worked very well, very friendly and service minded staff, always staffed and needs are met immediately,no outside noise, super clean bathroom and for the location very fair price, downstairs restaurant serves up great food too,so you can eat variety of food and can host small parties.. highly recommended hotel.

It is one of the best place to stay with reasonable price. Rooms are clean and restaurant is also good.

One of good person working in nelli star vavuniya he is name thiyagaraj he help to me for food arrangements and all because when my husband at there he is not well so raj very good person and helping person . Do not visit this place if you are looking for a comfortable hotel in vavuniya for the following reasons: 1. The swimmingpool was full with dust and mold. Next to the pool they were doing renovations and the dust was everywhere. 2. The washrooms were not clean and smelled bad. Tiles were not properly cleaned and there were stains everywhere. 3. The website tells there is a gym available however, the gym is closed because all the cables were broken. 4. Since the hotel has several weddingfacilites as well, they neglect the hotel part and the staff is always busy with fixing thing for those events. Overall, The facilities are bad, rooms are medium and the staff is busy with other things. There are enough other options nearby that are worth more than Nellystar

We had a workshop at the Nelly Star Hotel and stayed there for 4 nights. The service of the staff was great and the food was okay as well. We stayed at A/C rooms these rooms had ample space and were clean. They also let us keep one room after checkout until our workshop ended that they.

This hotel is comparatively ok. Rooms are quite lager than rooms of other hotels in the town. We got a tribal room which was bit smelly in the bathroom. Then hotel staff changed the room to better one which was excellent. It has two lager double beds and one single bed. Restaurant is available in the ground floor. There is a small swimming pool too. Bathroom has hot water.

Such a worsted experience. Staffs are not friendly and bad manner, rude behavior staffs. Specifically that receptionist boy(spectacle boy) and room service boy(dark color and little bit beard boy) was waste behaviour and harsh talking with customers.rooms are not clean, room service too bad, they didn't maintain their room. After 10p.m we can't get at least hot water form the hotel. Totally worst room service and worst staff 🤮🤮🤮🤮.

One of the main hotels in vavuniya. Room condition is somewhat ok for the price. Don't use the swiming pool unless you want to fall ill(it's not regulary cleaned) 2 wedding halls are there. I went to the smaller one. Fitted for a crowd arround 100.
