Definitely worth a visit. Beautiful location and interesting history as Lord Nelson was stationed here in the late 1700s. There's a good museum and a lovely restaurant to visit serving great food and a variety of drinks including cocktails. I think there were also other bars. There are some little shops and when we visited a good local market selling clothing, gifts etc at what looked good prices. We saw a great selection of boats including some tall ships. We spent a lovely relaxing afternoon here, enjoyed a nice meal with cocktails....what's not to like!!! Definitely worth a visit.

What a wonderful restored sail-age British military dockyard. The old buildings and history here is astounding. There is also a small bakery here which was superb with the tastiest pastries. A little museum about the dockyard also is on the grounds along with a restaurant, Airbnb and of course the working elements of the current marina. The ATM there wasn’t working when we went.

So much history and beautiful views while on Antigua. The Nelson's Dock Yard is a must visit when on Antigua We took a tour bus with a knowledgeable guide to the dock. A great bar and restaurants are here too.

Very interesting historical site with several well preserved buildings, a small museum, harbour mouth fortifications and a hiking trail. The Copper & Lumber Store Hotel is a business on its own, but its possible to get inside and visit a part of it while walking around the dockyards. There are quite a few pretty boats to see as well, but I suppose that varies with who's visiting.

Nelson's Dockyard is a cultural heritage site and marina in English Harbour, located in Antigua. The dockyard is named after Admiral Horatio Nelson. It is now part of Nelson's Dockyard National Park and the Antigua Naval Dockyard and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It hosts some of Antigua's sailing and yachting events

Interesting UNESCO world heritage site that is worth a visit of you're on Antigua. While well maintained, all the buildings bar the museum shop are used by local businesses, so it's not like you can wander around inside any of them to soak up the history, which is a shame. It's also a working harbour and marina, so the luxury yachts are also nice to look at, though their prescence has pushed up the prices in the local restaurants. Plenty of parking in the lot before you enter the dockyard, and the ticket price includes a visit to Shirley Heights, which is a great look out point to see some great views of the island. There are some walking trails up to a few ruined forts and down to pigeon beach if you don't mind walking an hour or two in the heat.

This is a great spot to learn about the island's history and check out artifacts or relax and stroll the property and view the Harbour with the boats. Great for all ages

This place was absolutely amazing. Antigua is a beautiful island. We spent 7 days here and had so many adventures. The sailing was great, snorkeling was phenomenal, and the people were kind and helpful. We have already booked a return trip! Nelson’s Dockyard has a lot to offer in the way of tourism. So much to see and do. Make sure to visit Shirley Heights and the Blockhouse when you are on this side of the island!
