We booked our Canada trip with our main destination at Nemiah Valley Lodge. Our journey had been wonderful before arriving at Nemiah and we were wondering, how much better can it get. |Everything that we experienced at Nemiah was outstanding! The welcoming, professional and heartfelt welcome of Kat, Earl and Clarissa was just the beginning. Our food was cooked fresh three times a day with respect to all special requirements. We felt like getting a 5* meal 3 times a day. |The place itself is very special. It instantly brings a sense of peace and calm. It can be felt everywhere, by the lake, at the paddocks, in the main lodge and in the private lodge.|Kat provides a great knowledge about the history of Nemiah Valley and its people and it was really precious to us to be able to explore on a ride, on a guided hike and to meet Xeni Gwet'in ambassador Patrick. |Nemiah Valley Lodge is a very special place and we believe it stays that way, because of the respectful and mindful way it is run. In every part of the place, nature, animals, elements, people work together. Also, the history of the land and its people is very well explained and respected. We didn't know how important especially this place is in history of the First Nations and it was so special to witness it in person and be a guest for a few days. |We hope to return to Nemiah Valley Lodge one day and it will forever be a stay in our memories.

Had an incredible experience staying here for 5 nights with my best friend, we wish we could have stayed a few more! Highly recommend it if you're into horses, wilderness, and incredible food. Kat, Chef Clarissa, and the team made us feel so welcome and taken care of. ||Our cabin was so comfortable and cozy and any direction you look there are amazing views. We experienced a day of equine wellness with Michelle, a trail ride with Earl and a hike with Brian, as well as wild horse viewing on our way to Chilko Lake to learn from Cultural Ambassador Patrick Lulua. A warm thank you and we look forward to our next visit!

The food was world class. The view from the cabins is Devine. Chilko Lake is unbelievable. The whole experience for my daughter and I was truely spectacular. Give yourself a few full days here as there is lots to do and see. From fishing and canoeing to seeing and photographing the wild horses - we will be back with at least 4-5 days up our sleeve.|The log cabins are recently restored and all of them are terrific. The king room with the living room is the better of the two sides - we had both and then it joins together to form a great family space.|Kat is a terrific host and my daughter wanted chef Karrisa to come home with us the food was so good. |Honestly this place is a piece of heaven.

Can’t say enough good things about our experience here. The setting is remote and beautiful and we were treated to gourmet meals every day. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The equine therapy and riding was a highlight. We took out a kayak and had the lake to ourselves. We are grateful to the Tsilhqot’in Nation and Xeni Gwet'in for welcoming us to their sacred land!

Nemiah Valley Lodge is in a stunningly beautiful location. The cabins are comfortable and have amazing views. The hospitality was really warm and meals were generous and delicious. Great lodge building. Very highly recommend.

I stayed at this lodge last summer with three friends and it was completely amazingly great trip. The food was over the top great, and the chef and staff just so approachable, kind, generous and humorous. We had a really unique opportunity to get to spend time with Xeni Gwetin indigenous elders, experience their traditions and go out on the land with them. They were so generous in their sharing. We also got to hike, make traditional crafts, picnic at the sacred spot on the lake and spend time at the smaller lake. The rooms were lovely. Would highly recommend you take your friends and family to this very unique vacation spot in a most stunning part of the world.

|Just had another great stay at this place. I strongly recommend a visit. Was very happy to return for another 3 days this year. (Already have the activities half planned out for next year!). I thought the place was great last year and was surprised how much had been done over the year in new touches to the cabins, the grounds and lodge. The road in was in great condition. Went swimming, fishing, exploring the rivers and lakes. Sometimes when you return to a place you don’t always feel the same sense of enjoyment with the surroundings. That’s not how it works with the Nehmiah Valley Lodge. The valley and the people who live here make this a unique experience in BC which made a return trip all the more enjoyable. Was very happy to spend time again with a couple of the elders I met last year, including a lunch and exploring the some ancient sites at Chilko Lake, easily one of the most beautiful lakes in Canada. Thanks so much to Catherine, the Lodge manager, for looking after us and basically making everything we asked for happen. Will definitely be returning. |
