Went there with high hopes having heard good things. Arrived and went to the counter to ask a question; the woman behind the counter was doing something on her phone and was “ too busy” to acknowledge me. So I just stood until she looked up from her phone. I ordered a grilled vegetable salad ($15) which was mediocre at best- predominantly arugula and some tasteless grilled zucchini- a few onions, a couple of carrots and balsamic that was far too sweet. But what really got me was that when I placed my order I I had asked for water with my salad and they charged $1.00 for a cup of tap water with ice ( but did not tell me that they were going to charge). I noticed the charge on my receipt ( which I had to ask for) after I paid. In my opinion a significant deterrent to eating there again. Very disappointed in my experience.

I ordered catering for my son's first birthday party. Could not be happier with the quality of the food as well as the service and delivery. Every dish was perfection (Chicken Piccata, Eggplant Parm, Herb Crusted Salmon, Penne Vodka, and Roasted Zucchini) Best Italian catering in south jersey without a doubt!

Ordered two BLT’s after coworkers stated this place was good. They were correct indeed! Two big fresh sandwiches I wasnt able to eat the whole thing! Everything was fresh and delicious! The staff was nice and the place was welcoming and clean.

Had our son’s christening here this weekend, the staff (Chloe) and owner mark were amazing! The food was incredible (as always) and the atmosphere was perfect for our event! Thank you Nene’s for making our day even more special!

My Fiancee and I made a wrong turn and accidentally found this Italian gem. The next day we went there for breakfast. I had the Wake Up and she had the Peppers and Egg sandwich. The Wake Up was great and so filling I could only eat half. I chased it down with a Vanilla Cappuccino made with real Italian Coffee! I already recommended it to other people before I left. It's a must try in Marlton.

Let's start with the good! Nice cozy little spot in the walk through area of Marlton. Looks like they took upon a next chapter in opening up a tavern with pizza to stay open later. Believe her name was Ashlyn on the receipt. Her smile and service saved them a star. You need people with a great mindset at 8 am! Now the tough... coffee is average lavazza (there's a reason they basically give it away.) The Pork Roll Egg and Cheese was $7 (mid tier price) it took a whole 15 minutes from order to receiving! Luckily there wasn't anywhere to be in a rush or it wouldn't have been good. Maybe because they're meant for bulk pre made items and more lunch time style this wasn't the right way to go, but as the a second person to walk in with a chalkboard saying no grab n go it was the opposite. Will more than likely try again around lunch next time from the solid service received.

The food is always good, but shame on me for not checking my takeout order. Twice we have ordered for pickup and twice the order was wrong. We ordered eggplant parm and was given sausage and peppers. The next time we ordered the arancini and was given meatballs. As I said...shame on me for not checking, but as I said the item given were very good.

Went again to Nene'a this weekend and is was amazing as always!! We really enjoyed the roast beef sandwich with broccolini and the caprese sandwich! The employees are friendly and we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for our food to come out. We will be back again soon!

Since our built in refrigerator was not working and awaiting parts for repair, based on a recommendation I read online, we ordered a prepared turkey day meal from Nene Italian Market for pickup. It was amazing!! They offered two package options for the meal that feeds 8-10 people, a Traditional package and an Italian package both with a 14-16 lb Turkey. Reference photo I attached for details on the package items. We opted for the Italian package with a couple of pies added on and it did not disappoint. Pick up for the meal on Thanksgiving day was at the chefs restaurant, Allora - https://www.yelp.com/biz/allora-evesham-township The team at Allora was friendly, well organized and even loaded everything in the car for us. Everything was pre-cooked and came with detailed heating instructions. The turkey was one of the best I have had in years, moist and tasty. The whole meal was incredibly delicious, and I would definitely do this again as it saves a ton of work in shopping, prep time, clean up, etc. We all agreed the meal was fantastic and we had a decent amount of leftovers for our post turkey day snacking and sandwiches. Had catering here for a birthday party. Tried the chicken parmigiana and penne vodka. Both were delicious. The penne vodka was super creamy-- the sauce was perfect. I think this was one of the top penne vodkas I've had.

We had an outstanding lunch at Nenes Taverna on Main Street in Marlton! The inside is bright with lots of natural light...seating available outside too but it was very hot so we sat inside by the window. Our server & the manager of Nenes Taverna, Chloe, was sweet & outgoing and gave us great tips on the menu! We started with two mocktails: the white peach strawberry and the watermelon basil! Both drinks were delicious -not too sweet and refreshing! They'd be great with a splash of vodka too -it is a BYOB after all! For the appetizer, we shared the Crispy Brussel Sprouts -if you love the Nene Salad you know how great their brussel sprouts are and these had a balsamic drizzle that was perfect-sweet, not too much and the sprouts still had a crunch! For lunch, we had the Italian French Dip (with a delicious au jus sauce) and the Fried Tomato Caprese which was packed with prosciutto and had a pesto and balsamic drizzle that was to die for! The Sandwich portions were extremely generous and we each left with leftovers! Overall, we had an excellent dining experience and would highly recommend it! We can't wait to go back on the weekend for their brunch!

Nene's Market on Main St never disappoints in any department!!! The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection!!! I've had breakfast sandwiches, hot sandwiches and chicken parmigiana and eggplant. The food has always been excellent with very generous portions and best of all...reasonable prices; definitely more reasonable than Ragazzzi's. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Pat L.

We found this place on Yelp searching for a pork roll egg and cheese breakfast. This is the first time I've seen someone scramble the eggs instead of the traditional over-medium eggs. It was okay, nothing to rave about. Some notes: They were installing a brick oven for their pizza when we visited. They offer free drip coffee with any breakfast sandwich.

Thanks to the wonderful Yelp reviews about Nene, I was able to discover it while I was here from out of town for just a day. You have got to come to Nene Italian Market!!! I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was so freshly made! It was the best ever - lightly breaded and fried, served on top of spaghetti with sauce that tastes homemade by grandma. For dessert, I got the mini cannolis and am embarrassed to say that I ate them all. These were the best cannolis EVER - the shell was just the right thickness, and tasted like it was just freshly made. The service was friendly and prompt; and the store was clean. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

This Italian is hooked already - and I didn't even have the true Italian dishes yet! I had a HUGE bagel sandwich - egg, cheese, and pork roll. It was actually TOO big - I threw out almost one whole 2nd slice of the pork roll and some of my eggs! Only $5. The "Crispy Brussel Sprouts" side was amazing! I make some pretty good Brussels dishes myself - no comparison! I have had them made with bacon and Balsamic, but these were just perfect. IDK how they were cooked - but just incredible! (J'm already thinking a good Thanksgiving side, without the work!). Nene's offers many homemade dishes to go. The same with sauces as well. I definitely want to try their eggplant, which is such an iffy menu item and vegetable. I have a strong feeling that it will be really good! I heard someone talking about how delicious their roast pork is too. OMG - this place is so close and "dangerous!" Lastly, nice employees, very clean, and fair-lower prices than comparable places.

Their food is delicious. I love the changing specials menu and soups. Lately I've been giving the family dinner specials a try and they're great. I love that the specials say a serving of 4 but obviously you can see it's much more than that. I always call my order in and it's quick to be ready. I really appreciate how well they pack everything up for takeout too. Chloe is a sweetheart behind the counter too

Such a cute little spot and loved their food!!!! The grilled vegetable salad was AMAZING. All their salads sound so good. My boyfriend got the chicken parm sandwich and also liked it. Affordable prices and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

Delicious Italian food with plenty of options for any meal! I've tried lunch and the family dinner package as well. My favorite is the grilled chicken entree with roasted Brussels, fresh mozzarella and tomato salad with arugula. Everything we've tried is pretty much amazing!

I had a family party and had it catered from nene's. The chicken franchese was so tender and juicy! Penne vodka was creamy and yummy and the eggplant parm was thinly sliced and abundant! Will definitely order from them again and again.

I was so excited to find this place. Italian coffee is the best coffee in the world and I was so excited to see the LavAzza logo on the window. When I went inside I saw multiple Italian coffees, including cold brew with and without nitro. All great flavors for a coffee drinker. We ate breakfast here and it was wonderful. The friendly staff was very accommodating and cooked individually cooked to order. We didn't want the egg and peppers in a sandwich, but rather an omelet. The chef meet our needs and in fact, he went the extra mile and roasted the peppers before he made the omelet and the omelet was top notched. That lead us to eat dessert. The dessert was not homemade but tasted like it was. The ingredients were not processed. We will be back and we have already recommended this cafe to our friends and family in the area. Mark, we liked it so much we have reservations at your restaurant tonight, Allora by Da Soli. Thanks for using Open Table. Reservations are so user friendly.

My Philadelphia / South Jersey friends have tried numerous times to convince me that the roast pork sandwich with broccoli rabe, or spinach is the greatest thing on earth and their attempts to convince me have just been futile. Roast pork sandwiches just don't appeal to me, and the soggy bread only intensifies my dislike for them until...Nene Italian Market. Here comes Nene Italian Market. My father in-law order a roast pork for sandwich for lunch. He wanted to try my cheesesteak so he wanted to go halfs on the sandwiches. Apprehensive about the proposal, I decided to just cut off a quarter, from half of the roast pork sandwich. I was instantly hit with shock! Like I said, I have tried the roast pork sandwiches at establishments well known for their roast pork and nothing comes close to the roast pork at Nene's. The au jus is served on the side, so it gives you the option to dip, or soak the meat if you like. Notice I said soak the meat, even with the au jus on the sandwich the bread does not morph into that wet tissue paper texture. Did I mention the cheesesteak? What about the eggplant and chicken parmigiana sandwiches, all excellent sandwiches! I am a little Bias when it comes to their Chicken Parmigiana here, and at their restaurant Allora. The chicken ceaser salad is my next favorite thing on the menu. Nene has definitely cemented a place in my heart, and in my belly as a great sandwich spot. I actually became a fan of this establishment thru their steak and eggs breakfast wrap. Everything at this establishment, that I've tried I have truly enjoyed.

Stopped in for lunch today and ordered the daily special Grilled Romaine salad with the ham and bean soup. Everything was delicious!! The weather was perfect so I chose to dine alfresco, but indoor seating was an option. The staff is taking covid precautions seriously, the server even accompanied me outside to wipe my table down before I was seated. I've been here multiple times and it's always a great experience so check it out!

I ordered food for a funeral lunch. We had many guests with various food restrictions and Nene's was wonderful at helping me plan a menu where there was something for everyone. Their menu is great and the food was amazing!! Several of our guests asked who the caterer was and hope to visit their shop soon. Thank you so much Nene Italian Market. I will definitely be a return customer.

I had the Nene Cheesesteak and it was a little bit dry, and the bread seems a little chewy. The muffin was great tho. I would give it a try again.

The sandwiches are decent. The chicken parm with spaghetti is excellent and a great price. And the portion is huge. I like their gravy, it's not too sweet or sour.

Should call it meh meh.... Nice atmosphere, but salad is quality of stuff I can make at home and staff was a bit curt. I asked what she'd recommend and she tossed a menu at me and told me I could read through the ingredients.

Third visit; thought the first two tries were a fluke so waited to review until now. The shop itself: lack of variety, strange set-up, seemingly incomplete. The food: Stopped in on a Monday morning @ 9am and they "hadn't received their rolls yet" so I overpaid for a bagel sandwich. Also picked-up a chicken parm platter to go, which turned out was as tough as leather and had no flavor. Most certainly was leftover from Friday. Disappointing.

Finally got a chance to stop by the new place in town. My meatball sandwich was awesome, homemade meatballs and the rolls make the difference. My picky two year old was happy to see all day breakfast and loved her pancakes. Great fries as well, perfectly crisp.

My meal was excellent chx park sandwich and fries. Was served fresh and hot and the prices are reasonable. Service was fast, and courteous. I was surprised came out so fast. Ambience was quiet and clean. Couldn't have had a better experience.

Had a Cheese Steak Hoagie with fried onion's on DELICIOUS bread from Nene Italian Market in Marlton, and it was FANTASTIC!! One of the tastiest cheese steaks around!! and I know cheese steaks :) Love this place... Terrific food... keep up the great work! Regards, Mark M.

Ordered the Chicken Cutlet Allora Hot Sandwich, subbed fresh mozzarella. It's REALLY GOOD. The chicken cutlet tastes fresh, not like it was made a few days ago and heated up. The broccoli Rabe has GREAT flavor. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars was the bread. I was hoping for a more firm bread versus soft. Either way, really good and I will be back!

Love this cute little market!!! Not only are the sandwiches and coffee amazing, but they have fresh meats,cheese, sauces, etc (I got the chicken breast and sausage) to grab and go at a super good price. Their corned beef sandwich was delicious. Can't wait to go back to this gem!

So happy I found a quality local spot with homemade food. The chicken Caesar wrap is packed with just the right amount of each ingredient in every bite. I always get chicken cutlet instead of grilled and I highly recommend. Their grilled veggie salad comes with this insane honey balsamic dressing that everyone needs to try at least once. I'm really looking forward to trying everything on the menu!

Group at work ordered meatball subs, tuna hoagie, Fuji apple salad w/chicken, roast pork sandwich and crispy Brussels. OMG this place is fantastic & reasonably priced. Definitely going back again.

Ordered the Italian subs. Prices were a tad high for such a basic sub, but they were so fresh that it made it worth it.

We used Nene Italian Market for our Super Bowl party. Everything was excellent, the roast pork, red peppers , broccoli rabe and of course the sandwich rolls. Will definitely will order again from this market. Jim

Stopped in for a quick bagel sandwich and a coffee. I picked the sausage, egg and cheese on a everything bagel and house blend coffee. I chose to enjoy the nice weather and took advantage of the outside seating they have. Great atmosphere. Great customer service and amazingly good food. I am definitely going back.

Cute place and the woman at the counter was nice. They have an awesome turkey club. I didn't expect much ordering so basic but I was very pleasantly surprised! Delicious bread, crispy bacon, and they really load it up with fresh turkey breast. I'll definitely be back.

The chicken sorrentino family dinner special tonight was awesome. The brussel sprout caesar salad was delicious. It really blew me away. The food has great flavor, they give fair portions, and the food tastes fresh. The market is very clean and the business is very organized. A+ on every visit since they opened but they really seem to be hitting another level.

I was really hungry for a big Italian hoagie so I put Deli in google maps and came up with this place , bad mistake, so I ordered an Italian hoagie with everything on it what I got after spending $13 was a 7" roll with a bunch of lettuce and pickles and peppers, no tomatoes one slice of ham and one slice of capacola and absolutely no cheese at all, I was furious I wish I took a picture, I didn't open up the wrapper until I got home and was too tires to drive back because I had just driven all the way home from the shore, never again will I eat at this place. I thought these kind of restaurants are supposed to have the best steaks and hoagies? I guess not this one

We spent over 60 bucks for lunch, 4 ppl. Everything is extra if you want roasted pepper or cheese on your pork sandwich- it's extra. The bread isn't great. Ever go to south Florida? The bread is very similar.

Can't say enough good things about the food we've had from Nene Italian Market. Two nights ago we ordered the family dinner special of grilled chicken and penne a la vodka with bread and a Caesar salad. It was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the vodka sauce was superb. The person who took my order was friendly as was the young woman who helped me in the market. Can't wait to go back.

My prosciutto sandwich was packed with meat on a nice firm roll... exactly how real Italians like it. Very clean inside, and the Nene's salad is also amazing! Highly recommend
