Neon Commissary

Very cool place but the sandwich was a bit off, especially for the price. Had the moroccan chicken with raisins. The bread was a bit much, had a slight funk (maybe cuz sourdough), and chicken was a bit bland, overall kind of flavorless and dry sandwich.

We had Sunday brunch at this nice little place on Wallace. Very clean and comfortable restaurant with entry of seating. The menu is small but concise. Lots of variety and a good selection for drinks. We opted for brunch menu items and some coffees. I ordered the fish cakes with poached eggs. Eggs were fine and properly prepared. The dish came with a nice fresh salad. The only shortcoming was the fish cake. The cakes were very bland and lacked any real fish flavor. I was pretty disappointed with them, tasting very dry and bready. Its too bad cause otherwise the experience was decent. Nice place would consider coming back but would not recommend the fish cakes!

If you like the warehouse look and a non pretentious no-nonsense but practically perfect atmosphere head to Neon Commissary. Love their frozen meals.

Taste of bread and filling are good, however the bread is too thick for the amount of filling. I recommend thinner bread or more filling.

Ordered breakfast catering through NEON for a local independent film set, and they delivered wonderful, tasty & fresh meals and were able to work with our budget by making small modifications to their existing menu items. 100% recommend for film set catering for small crews!

Rude and racist service from white lady with very short hair. She deliberately served me a mocha in a tiny cup. (Standard cups are larger , using bubble tea for scale reference). I’ve ordered mochas from here multiple times since September and other employees used the standard sized cups. there’s better cafes in the neighborhood. Never coming here again to this racist stingy establishment. It’s gone completely downhill in service and product quantity.

It was ok, good selection of food and cute location. But the tables at from are too close together, made it awkward for guests and servers to get in and out. Also the eggs Benedict was very meh, the sauce is not hollondaise and kind of had no flavour at all. Also neither mine and my partner's food was hot when it arrived. Would probably go back for a sandwich or coffee on a weekday when less busy.

This place is terrible. I ordered a cappuccino and it was a lukewarm cup of milk with no coffee in it, it was also $5. My partner had a scone which was very mediocre, it was fluffy and not made with butter. The sandwiches in the window look like what you get at a skating rink but were $13. On a previous visit I had purchased a loaf of bread which was passable, but nothing to buy again. I'm not sure how they survive.
