Nepal Sanctuary Treks

This was our first hike in Nepal and, thanks to Tulsi and his team, it was an awesome experience. Tulsi was great to work with in the planning of the trip. He is a thoughtful and caring person. Our guide was a lovely guy who knew his stuff and was a pleasure to spend time with. We loved Nepal and will be going back to another hike. We will certainly be using Nepal Sanctuary Treks again and thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

We (my partner and I) had an amazing experience trekking to the Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri with Nepal Sanctuary Treks! From the very beginning, Tulsi was incredibly responsive, professional, and helped us design a personalized itinerary that perfectly matched what we wanted. From the moment we arrived in Nepal, everything was well organized: flights, ground transportation, hotels, and tea houses were all arranged so we didn’t have to worry about a thing before or after our trek (including a great Kathmandu tour with our wonderful guide Kumar). The team truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, healthy, and comfortable throughout our trip. The trek itself was spectacular, with breathtaking mountain and glacier views, and even a few wildlife sightings. Gokyo and the surrounding region is truly one of the most beautiful and memorable places we have ever visited. What really made the journey unforgettable was our wonderful trekking team. Our guide, Galden, was exceptional! He was patient, friendly, fun, and knowledgeable about the mountains and local culture. He was very attentive, always making sure we were well taken care of on the trail and in the tea houses, and he was flexible when we needed to make changes to our route. Our porter, Chandra, was also fantastic, always smiling, kind, and ready to help with anything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we are grateful to the entire Nepal Sanctuary Treks team for making this journey so enjoyable and memorable. If we’re lucky enough to trek in Nepal again, we will definitely choose Nepal Sanctuary Treks without hesitation!

We recently got home from completing the Langtang Valley trek with Nepal Sanctuary Treks and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Before we left they were easy to work with, even when we had to postpone the trip due to some personal circumstances. During the trek our guide (Prem) was attentive and it was clear that our safety was always paramount. Even when our original plans had to change (for reasons entirely outside of their control), they were quick to be able to modify and come up with a new plan on the go. We felt incredibly welcomed from start to finish.

Best trekking company ever .. We had an incredible experience trekking to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo lake with Nepal Sanctuary Trek. From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive, and caring. Our guide was knowledgeable and supportive, and the porters were amazing throughout the journey. Everything—from the itinerary to the accommodations—was well-organized and tailored to our needs. We always felt safe, encouraged, and well taken care of. Highly recommend this company for anyone dreaming of the Himalayas!

This was the third long trek I've organized with Nepal Sanctuary Treks, and again they were fabulous. This time our group of nine friends spent over three weeks on the remote Kanchenjunga Circuit, a demanding but spectacular trek. The support we received from our guides and porters was exemplary. The company places the safety and well-being of its clients before everything else, and as a consequence we all had a great time. Because we were trekking at the start of winter, many of the higher lodges were closed or closing, and it was only because of the background work done by Tulsi and his team that we were able to access them. We were lucky to have Khadka Rai as our Head Guide again, and I very strongly recommend him. If you are planning to trek in Nepal, I cannot recommend Nepal Sanctuary Treks too highly--they are a model company!

Our trek with Nepal Sanctuary Trek was amazing. Each day a group of 12 of us had a great trek with very good food on the way and excellent accomodation in a beautiful setting for the night. Our guide Bal and assistant guides Kobi and Kabirajraia were absolutely excellent. I felt so well looked after and very confident of their support.
