Visited after nearly 3 weeks of rain. It was quite lovely watching the run off. Great views, a few different places to set up & relax, or just enjoy the serenity. Amenities, picnic areas & enough parking

Lovely and very very beautiful dam and this was the most amazing dam I found over all other dams I visited as this place has a lot of big area and below the dam the stones are kept so beautifully. The picnic area is huge and even got area for kids to play. You have to go a bit down hill to visit this dam and it’s not quite that busy.

A decent experience. Shaded area for resting, worth a visit with kids. Picnic area. Few easy steps to climb not only if you wish to checkout.

We enjoyed our day here. Nice picnic area with parking. However barbeque facilities were out of order. No entry fees and greats scenes. Toilets are available and were clean. It's only a short drive from the M5 exit. Views are spectacular . Parking is available.

A lovely clean and tidy area where you can enjoy a short walk across the top of the dam, or enjoy a picnic at one of the many picnic areas. Like many dams across the country, the areas surrounding it are open to the public. The grounds around Nepean Dam include many different picnic areas. Across the other side of the dam from the carpark, you can look out across the lake and take in the scenery and imagine what the landscape would have looked like before the dam was constructed. You may even be lucky enough to see the spillway in use, this would only occur when the dam is full - you can check the dam level on the website.

Great place to walk for an hr or so. Plenty of shade and picnic benches to sit at. The dam is beautiful and it's a faily easy walk from the top picnic playground area down to the dam wall.

Beautiful marvel of engineering. Great views. If you visit in Spring, will be able to see the whole place covered with yellow flowers. There are a few picnic areas on the way. Seems all of them has gas BBQ and toilets. Don’t forget to visit the Avon dam as well, which is nearby.
