My husband and myself went to Kos with my daughter's family for four nights. They got a really nice, new/ renovated room. Sadly I booked a room with Seaview in the main hotel and paid about the same amount of money. It was definitely not worth the money we paid for it. Not renovated with furniture of the 80's. The bathroom also looked old and probably never changed after the hotel was built. The water in the shower would suddenly go cold and then hot again, on its own. Also, the room had a bad smell, despite us leaving the windows open, day and night. The air-conditioning, sometimes it worked and some other times it didn't. And it was noisy as well. And it was so hot..
The service. Some of the staff were really nice and polite as well as helpful. There was a waitress at the Odyssus bar and grill... if I was her boss I would send her packing. She was rude, she lied and didn't even apologise.
At the reception, when we requested extended check out by about 3 hours, as our flight was at 6.30 pm, even though the room would be empty that day, they requested extra payment. After spending money in restaurants and drinks at the pool bar, as well as the overpriced room, on principle, we didn't want to pay.
Other than that, the resort is nice. It has four pools, one for adults only. They also have ab amazing kiddie place with a shallow pool with slides, and other activities for young children. I have to say that all over the resort, it was clean. The breakfast was amazing with so many options.
If I ever went back, I would definitely not stay at the main building of the hotel. And there is no beach.
