Came here to hang out with my friends. We started our dinner with some drinks. I got an espresso martini with vodka. It had just right amount of espresso and vodka, so the drink was balanced and smooth. It was delicious! Happy hour was not finished until 6:30pm, do each drink that we ordered were $10 each!
We also got 2 appetizers to share. One was Ceviche di Mare, and the other was Parmigiana Dorata. Ceviche di Mare was so delicious, it was made with some cubed fish “cooked” in lemon juice and served on top of a piece of crispy bread with some herbs and red onions. It was so simple and wholesome. Parmigiana Dorata was nice, too. Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside. The tomato sauce gave it a nice zing.
The bread before the meal was also very good. I just wish it was warm. The olive oil was good quality.
For the main course, we got 2 today’s special, a tomahawk steak cooked medium rare, and a gnocchi. The tomahawk was huge. The server said it was enough for 2-3 people. I didn’t believe him, because they tend to exaggerate. He was not kidding. The portion was big, and it was cooked perfectly. It came with roasted potatoes, grilled asparagus and steam broccolini. I have to say, it was one of the best roasted potatoes I’ve ever had. It was naturally sweet, and so crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The tomahawk was very tender, and had just right amount of fat. It was nice and juicy. The other two vegetables were nice, too.
The gnocchi was cooked pretty good. The texture was great. Sauce was well made as well.
We also got a Tagliatelle al Ragu. The pasta was homemade. I have never had a pasta like this. The texture was so unique and was totally different from the dried pasta. The sauce was nice, but not as great as the other two dishes.
The servers were nice and friendly. The whole restaurant was very clean. Recommend this place to hang out with friends and family! It’s got good food and good drinks!
