Neringa Hotel (Vilnius, Lithuania) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Located on Gediminas Avenue — often referred to as the "Champs-Élysées of Vilnius" — this historic building dates back to 1917 and began operating as a hotel in 1939. In the late 1950s, it was redesigned and reconstructed by architect brothers Algimantas and Vytautas Nasvyčiai, officially reopening as the Neringa Hotel in 1960. Alongside its legendary restaurant, the hotel quickly became a key cultural hub in Vilnius and a national symbol of modernist architecture." - Tablet Hotels

Good location in an attractive street. Easy walk to various sights. |Great check in. |Room - stylish and spacious. Noisy air con. Reception told me it was a known issue (to be fair, this at check out as I hadn't raised it previously). Fridge was also quite noisy.|Roof top bar - fabulous views but space is popular so take. your chances. First visit and the bar was dominated by two large groups, making a lot of noise, going in and out and leaving doors open on a cold evening. Second visit - nice and quiet, just people talking quietly. Stayed for a second drink. Third visit - sunny early evening and no tables available. Wise to book even as a resident.|Breakfast - seemed a reasonable choice on the one meal I took. After that, bought a few items from the supermarket opposite to have in my room.

Here for 3 nights, clean, friendly and offers great facilities. Staff in rooftop bar could do with some training, wine by the glass is limited, cocktails are good but need to be filled up no one likes half a drink. Breakfast is great, restaurant and cafe is great. Reception staff very helpful.

The best place to stay in Vilnius. We styed in "Suite" type of room and it was perfect, the design of the room was just incredible to enjoy during our stay. 2 big bathrooms, separated rooms, which is really hard to find in other hotels. And the price? I wasnt expecting such a great service and "luxury" I can say for that affordable prices. Perfect for families! They even god us a cot, which wasnt cheap at all and comfortable for our kid, thank you!!! The whole hotel is so beautiful just to stay for coffee or lunch. The breakfast is fantastic, you can choose from huge variety of ingredients as you prefer. And the gym here was great. Great people, all of them were smiling and I our experience was beyond my expectations. Thank you for awesome stay with my family.

We stayed at the Neringa Hotel for 3 nights in and it could not have been better. Great location, great room, and above all really great service. Special thanks to Tautvydas who went above and beyond to help us, even retrieving a pair of sunglasses that we lost and shipping it to our house! We were very impressed. Fully recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Vilnius. If I could more than 5 stars I would!!

Disappointing stay. Room cleaning could be improved – on several occasions trash and empty water bottles were left behind after service. Complimentary water was provided only on the first day. Breakfast was very modest and not of the best quality, especially when it comes to vegetables and healthier options. Hot dishes such as scrambled eggs were not included in the price, and the coffee served was unfortunately of poor quality. Staff were not very welcoming, and interactions often felt unfriendly, which left a negative impression. During breakfast, the atmosphere created by the staff clearing tables seemed rushed and not particularly guest-oriented. On the positive side, rooms are quite spacious and equipped with an iron and ironing board. There is also a gym, though the treadmill could use some servicing. The hotel is pet-friendly, offering a dog bed, bowls, and even a small gift of chocolates, which was a nice touch. The biggest advantage of the hotel is without a doubt its excellent location. Unfortunately, the rooms are noisy at night due to loud parties and music coming from nearby bars, which can disturb rest. The rooftop bar would benefit from more attentive service – tables were not always cleaned promptly, and menus were not readily offered. The area is also rather dark, which makes it difficult to read the menu without additional light. Overall, for the price, the hotel did not meet expectations and fell short of the standards advertised. I rarely write reviews, but in this case I felt it was necessary, as this was the biggest downside of an otherwise beautiful trip to Vilnius. We will certainly return to Vilnius, but next time we will choose a different hotel. It is also surprising to see so many highly positive reviews, as we travel frequently and have a good basis for comparison with other hotels of a similar category. This hotel does have potential, but more attention should definitely be paid to the quality of customer service. It would also be worth improving the breakfast offer by including freshly prepared dishes made by a chef – something that has already become a standard in hotels of this class.

Beautifully renovated hotel in the center of Vilnius. Easily walkable to most restaurants, bars and attractions. The rooms are modern, clean and fresh. Really nice design throughout the hotel as well. We had breakfast which was ok nothing special. The experience was ruined when in the evening we visited the bar with friends. After a few drinks we asked the barman if they had any cider. He let us try 1 and then offered us a french cider. After opening the bottle he put it on our table and we subsequently realised it was nonalcoholic. We at no point asked for nonalcoholic and considering we had only been drinking alcohol we complained to the barman to which he responded it will be good for your head and then went ahead and charged us 21 euro for the bottle. We couldn't be bothered to argue or complain were just in shock how rude and dismissive the guy was. Shame really cause I really like the hotel.

Our staying at the Neringa was a most pleasant experience. The room was simple with taste and a certain elegance. The breakfast buffet had everything we could want or need and the location was ideal. How can a location be bad when there is a McDonalds within 150 meters?

This hotel is so close to being perfect in everywhere Location 10/10 Hotel areas including rooftop bar and gym 10/10 Rooms 8/10. The room was super nice except for the beds were not very comfortable especially the pillows. However the shower and overall space was so nice I will let this slide on my rating
