Everything I got was really nice. Loved the avocado toast and smoothie. My son loved his yogurt parfait.

I guess I didn’t realize there were two Nest cafés but the one in Orono is FAR SUPERIOR to the one in Bangor. Mocha was phenomenal (so no need to drive all the way to St. John anymore), bagel sandwiches were fantastic, atmosphere could be a little cozier but pretty good all around. Definitely the go to spot for coffee or breakfast!

Food was good, no issues there. Staff was respectful. Wished there was better planning in seating and tables. Lots of wasted space with big long tables that are not functional. Wished we could have had a space inside to eat though what limited seating was available was full. Maybe another time I’ll try again. Overall it was an average experience

It was super hot in there I felt like I was gonna pass out the food was good but I asked for scrambled eggs and they have me over easy practically oozing. Other then that I had a good experience. Might go again. Prices are definitely high if you use to getting drinks for 8$ then it would be average. A good tourist food spot for something quick and good.

Simple, uncomplicated menu for coffee, espresso, breakfast items including excellent avocado toast with feta, greens and balsamic. Double shot is more on the acidic side rather than bitter and picks a punch. Service was quick, accurate and friendly.

Was going here pretty consistently with my boyfriend for a while. The food is great but it’s not a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff is not friendly and the cafe itself is not kept clean. My boyfriend and I decided to start going next door to Golden Bean…much better experience.

This is easily the best breakfast sandwich and iced coffee I’ve ever had!!

It's a very popular spot so some days you can't sit down and the line goes out the window. The service is good but not very personal.

We've enjoyed the breakfast here frequently for many months now. Consistently delicious and fresh. The egg sandwiches are really good with ham (extra for an additional $1.50 ~ wish they had that option for an extra egg). The sausage and egg is really good too! The lox are fresh but need capers and tomato ;) We typically order online and pick up. Service is friendly but sometimes there's no acknowledgement of your presence until they finish a small chore... drink some coffee guys ;)

Went in for coffee and light lunch. I got chicken pesto quinoa bowl! It was fresh and delicious. The latte was really good. I am going back for a smoothie bowl! Nice sitting area and friendly service!

Coffee should be available in the early afternoon. The ambience was good, but the service was lackadaisical.

I dropped in just to grab something to drink while I walked through town. I smelled something so delicious I had to go in. I grabbed a chai late that was very good. I noticed a pumpkin sign and asked for some. It was sooooo good!!! The seating area looks so cozy. I would love to come back!

Cute, vintage looking spot. Although it was pretty hot in there, I remember the coffee being solid. As someone who struggles with the different kinds, I appreciated the drink guide.

Stopped in for a coffee and quick bite. Latte was a bit on the bitter side but still good. Bagel was definitely not a New York stale bagel, a bit doughier than I like but made a great sandwich. Overall happy with my order and service. The Nest is small and cozy, and they got a beautiful beaten copper espresso machine. Their real menu is slightly different from what's posted on Yelp. Will be back!

Breakfast sandwich hit the spot! It has the feel of a college coffee shop! Good thing since it is a college coffee shop. Employs several coeds working to pay for school. I will be back just for the excellent service.

I absolutely love the avocado toast with feta and the BLT bagel sandwich. The pb and chocolate smoothie bowl was also a top favorite of mine. Never tried the coffee but I've heard that's pretty good as well! Seating inside is pretty full every time i try to go in, but they're usually pretty quick to get food and drinks out!

I had the best bagel of my life here! Everything bagel with homemade chive cream cheese... soo tasty!!

Best bagel sandwich I've ever had! Sausage egg and cheese on onion bagel was so amazing we literally came back the next day for the exact same breakfast our second day in Maine! The bagels are so fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Also great service!

the food was alright the breakfast burrito lacked flavor it was oftly bland and small for paying 8.50$ the red bull flavoring drink is sugar free. sure the bowl is very filling. they need to get plastic straws my straw literally fell apart inside my drink. service was decent nice young lady's working. the ambiance is great nice "homie" vibes.

This is the coffee/smoothie shop that Orono needed! Their lattes are very well done with LOTS of milk options. The smoothie bowls are my favorite thing, especially the chocolate peanut butter protein one. I will eat that at 8am and be full until 1pm, no joke. If you need a healthy meal on the go AND some coffee to keep you going, this is the place.

Grabbed breakfast and coffee before our Umaine tour. This place was super cute inside! Coffee was delicious, two of us had bagel sandwiches that were excellent and another had the acai bowl which he enjoyed as well. I will absolutely be back when we are in Orono again

Cute place, and one of the few coffee shops we could find around the area. Good food, good service and nicely decorated. We ended going there twice while on vacation. Highly recommended!

I've gone here twice so far, both times have been pretty enjoyable. They're usually a bit busy but the employees work quick and are charismatic. I loved the coffee I got. Would definitely recommend. My order is the vanilla ice chai latte with oat milk!

My boyfriend and I stopped here on the way to a hike in Acadia, and it was great. Took advantage of the custom bowls and everything was fresh and delicious. Coffee was great as well - all in all a great stop :)

I'm a frequent açaí bowl eater... and don't normally write yelp reviews but thought the bowls at Nest deserved some praise! I live in NYC and have tried all the best açaí bowls places... the bowls at Nest are on par if not better! I got the Black Bear-y bowl (left) and my boyfriend got the Chocolate PB bowl (right). Both were great, large portions, with the toppings mixed in so you weren't left at the end with all smoothie and no toppings. Mine was light and fruity, and the Chocolate PB was rich and creamy and tasted to me like a blended up Reese's cup... it was so good! I think if I go back I'd try the tropical bowl... or get myself the chocolate PB. Also - in nyc I always get Oat milk in my iced coffee, and I've found when leaving the city it's difficult to find in other coffee shops. I was pleasantly surprised that Nest had Oat Milk for my iced coffee!

Great place. Love the food, almost never disappointed with the rich tastes. Nutella coffee or the green monster are my go-to smoothies. Good ambiance but the smoothie machine... it's just so loud.. I know there is not much that can be done but if there is a will there is a way. Perhaps relocating it? It would be epic to see this business expanded their square footage. All around though, my friends and I are always am coming back.

I've had a coffee and a smoothie from here and I was impressed. It's one of the few places in Orono to go and get your fix but I personally think it's not worth it. They do have a cute environment and very nice employees!

I love Nest's smoothies and smoothie bowls. I usually get the chocolate peanut butter bowl because peanut butter's all I really care about in life, but this morning I went with the açaí bowl and was presently surprised. Getting a Nest smoothie or smoothie bowl once a week is the only way I can motivate myself to get work done. I've heard several people complain about the workers being not very friendly. While I'll admit the staff isn't super warm, I've never had a bad experience. I don't really need someone to be very friendly and talkative to me while they make my smoothie. Overall, I really enjoy Nest and I'm glad they're in town.

Nest is awesome! It replaced the vape shop that used to be here and is now a cozy cafe with breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, and delicious drinks. There are pillows on the seats that tie the whole experience together. The only other coffee shop in Orono is Aroma Joe's and Nest beats it by quite a bit. I recommend a ginger snap cappuccino or a chai/Thai tea! You have to try Nest. This place deserves all the business and it's a great place to study and chat.

The food is healthy and tasty, and the environment is very good. Like it. The employees are very nice.

A cute little coffee shop in Orono. They have some interesting menu items like smoothie bowls. I typically come in to sit and read. They have a great deal from 12-4pm called "Grumpy Hour," which is an iced latte for $2.50. I haven't tried any of their food yet because it's a little pricey for me. I have friends who rave about the smoothie bowls though ($5.50-$7).

Really good food! Would recommend the açaí bowl or the avocado toast with egg. Only rough part is the prices add up quick. Gets really busy on weekend mornings and can be hard to find a seat.

Stopped in at Nest yesterday morning, appears to be a popular spot with locals. The service was friendly and the cashier topped off my coffee while I was leaving, which was much appreciated. I purchased an açaí bowl which was fantastic! It was however more expensive than I thought it should be, $8.50 before tax. They might charge this much because of the process it takes to make the bowl. The coffee was fine but not distinct. Lastly, I think they could use some art on the walls or more decor. It is a nice space, but would benefit from some finishing touches.

My brutal honesty, this place is so cute! I'm obsessed, trendy and the food is good. I had a lemon poppy muffin and the chocolate PB bowl, both amazing. Was skeptical about the muffin because are they made in house? These are so I grabbed one. This is a must come to establishment.

I'm so happy that Nest is on Orono! The area desperately needed a nice coffee shop and this one is so adorable. I loved the atmosphere, it has a nice, fresh feel. The coffee was very good. I will definitely be a frequent customer.

I asked for no granola on my smoothie bowl because I have celiac and the lady made it with granola. I asked if the granola was gluten free hoping to not be difficult and without checking the package the lady said it was confidently. I have determined she just didn't want to make me another one because later that day I had some brutal colon issues if you catch my drift. Overall peeved at the service but the smoothie bowl was a solid 7/10. Not worth the discomfort tho.

Cute coffee shop in downtown Orono, good place to stop and get work done. Solid bakery & food selection as well, that doesn't turn it into a cafe more than a coffee shop. The hours are a little short, 8-4, but other than that, it's super quaint and exactly what you want to find in a downtown coffee shop. Plus, they run a special currently for $2.50 iced lattes after 12pm, so win.

This place has bomb smoothies and food but holy eff do they hate answering there phones! Gotta be better at multi-tasking cause no one will give you business if you don't answer your damn phones!!!!!

The cutest little coffee shop owned by the sweetest guy. Everything on the menu as far as drinks were amazing. A good study spot or coffee date spot. Nestled right in the heart of a college town, this place is perfect for a study break away from school.

I love new coffee shops and anytime one opens up around me I have to go and try their iced coffee. This is a new place on Maine st in Orono, with no coffee shops around besides Aroma Joes. The decor is nice and the seating is comfortable, albeit , different. I ordered a cold brew with a small amount of skim and English toffee syrup. The coffee was good but not as strong as other coffee shops have it. Service was friendly. Overall I would return and maybe try one of their delicious looking pastries/desserts.

The food and coffee here are consistently wonderful, but the service could use improvement. I normally come in first thing in the morning and it's routine to stand at the counter and to be walked by several times without being greeted and even then the staff have made me feel as though I'm inconveniencing them by wanting to order something. It almost looked as though myself and the other patrons had caught the staff off guard this morning as the staff's drinks and cell phones were sitting in the food pick up area and there was a bottle of fingernail polish by the register.

The food choices are very delicious and healthy I would 10/10 recommend . My picture is the chocolate PB banana bowl and the Nutella coffee ( without espresso )

Such a great atmosphere here! Only reason I'm giving four stars is because it is a little pricey, however the food is very good and fresh! Such a cute spot! You should make it a point to make a stop here if you're visiting in the spectacular town of Orono!!

Was given a blueberry bagel instead of an everything bagel on three separate occasions... for breakfast sandwiches and lox sandwich.. feel like that's a hard thing to mess up ‍

The workers here seem like they would rather talk amongst themselves, than make food for customers.. i ordered a breakfast sandwich an hour and a half before close and they said they couldn't make it because "We are closing really soon". I order a smoothie bowl and a smoothie and they forgot to make my smoothie because they were talking with co workers and other customers. Very rude.

A great little spot. Very quiet in the mornings. Orders are always exactly the same, Delicious. Everything is fresh and the workers are always in a great and helpful mood!!!

Good tasting healthy breakfast. Love their vanilla iced chai latte. Only wish they had gluten free bread option.
