Nesuto Canberra Apartment Hotel

I stayed here for three nights in late November 2025. The service was very friendly. I checked in early and although they understandably asked me to wait I was allowed into my room before the stated 3 pm check in time. The location is fine, but made a bit inconvenient due to the excessive road construction going on in downtown Canberra. Not the hotel's fault, but I found it frustrating to get from the hotel to ANU where I was attending a conference. The problem is the hotel is somewhat old. The room had noticeable wear and tear although it was relatively clean and large for the price. The wifi however was basically unusable and extremely frustrating from a business traveler's perspective. The gym was small and outdated. If you're looking for a large room for a relatively low price, then its fine. If you are looking for luxury or to use the hotel as work space I would highly suggest looking elsewhere.

Great location, clean and comfortable. Reception staff friendly and helpful especially when the extractor fan in bathroom made a continuous noise. A response was quick and efficient.|Dining facilities advised on website was a separate business next door - so limited opening hours.|Would have liked to have been able to control the temperature in the room but it was pre set, so not an option.

It got two stars because the location is awesome. This place is dated. I can handle that. But the carpets need new carpets they are filthy. They will leave the heaters on to detract from the smell of the rooms. Spa doesn’t work caution tape and bollards. Dusty as. Like I’ll stay in a place like this, but it ain’t worth $350 a night for a 5 sleeper. No way. Definitely $220-$260 TOPS a night worthy. Needs some serious pressure washing and carpet cleaning. Air con sucks in the rooms. Had to set to 18 degrees. Just a bit of caveat emptor. Thick layers of dust everywhere. Deep cleans needed. Nesuto. Reach out guys.

The location was excellent was close to everything. They certainly need to update the room there quite a few cracks in the bathroom the bed is not connected to the headboard and it’s on wheels that wouldn’t lock. It was not comfortable to sit and read in bed. They only clean the room every 4 days which to me is gross as there is a whole kitchen so food is heated or cooked but no extra garbage bags to help empty or where to put the garbage. I prefer to have our towels change daily or every other day. I did ask them to change the curtain in the shower do you mildew which I don’t think it was. It’s a shame as it was a lovely hotel. They don’t leave instructions for the washer/dryer. It took forever to dry the clothing.

My stay was fine overall, but nothing special. The room was clean and comfortable enough, though it felt a bit dated. It would have been nice to have fresh towels.The location was convenient and it’s an okay choice if you’re looking for something simple for a short stay.

Some of the recent bad reviews are surprising as I had the opposite experience. Place is perfectly clean and neat, comfy bed and good friendly service. Only stayed a night but the kitchenette is well equipped and would be fine to stay for a handful of nights. It's a 3-4 star place but given the low price it's excellent value for money, hence 5 stars.

We were right at edge of the malls and shops. We a great place to stay. We clean the only thing was no cleaning for 4 days which to me is not hygienic enough. Was a good size room. It had apartments that people live in as well as the hotel. I would stay there again and they have underground parking.

Very disappointed that aircon wasn’t working on hottest day of the year so far. We were advised if this upon arrival and offered complimentary water bottles, or which there was one full and one half empty in the fridge. A fan was offered which saw us just over the line. Tradesmen working on aircon problem commenced (as we were advised ) at 8am with a jackhammer noise that got us out of the hotel very quickly. |Also only had two black teabags which I personally think is quite tight. We had these on Saturday morning and went out for breakfast on Sunday. |The room was dated but adequate for our needs. I don’t like giving bad reviews but feel this one is warranted.
