Absolutely appalling. This so-called hotel was an utter disappointment from start to finish. I stayed here with my sister and two young children, and the experience was nothing short of dreadful. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by an overwhelming stench of raw sewage and rotting garbage in the car park—hardly a welcoming first impression. The foul odor persisted in the hallways, making the entire building feel unclean and neglected. The room itself was an absolute disgrace. It was outdated, filthy, and poorly maintained. The dining table hadn't even been wiped down from the previous guests—it had a large, sticky spill smeared across it, which was beyond disgusting. The beds were a complete joke—lumpy, uncomfortable, and clearly long overdue for replacement. It was nearly impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was for its supposed indoor heated pool and spa—both of which turned out to be blatant false advertising. The pool room was warm, but the water itself was ice-cold, making it completely unusable, especially for young children. And the spa? It didn’t exist! Despite being advertised on multiple booking sites and even on Nesuto’s own website with misleading photos, we were informed at the front desk (without even a hint of an apology) that the spa had been gone for years. This level of deception is unacceptable. As if that wasn’t enough, the balcony was locked and unusable, with a faded A4 paper sign claiming it was “closed for repairs.” Given how faded the sign was, it was obvious that no repairs had been done in a long time—yet another misleading claim from this disgraceful establishment. Adding to the nightmare, the air conditioning shut off in the middle of the night, leaving the room unbearably stuffy—especially since we couldn't even open the balcony door. It was an uncomfortable, frustrating experience from start to finish. This hotel is a masterclass in deception, cutting corners, and providing the absolute bare minimum while charging for facilities they do not have. Avoid this place at all costs—there are far better options where you won’t be lied to and left regretting your stay.

We booked the room through Hotels.com, where the reviews were generally positive. After seeing the negative reviews in Google Maps, I was apprehensive about our stay. However, the room turned out to be great. It is Spacious and clean. Also, the location is amazing, withing walking distance to restaurants and a shopping mall.

A bit dated and disappointed spa and pool not working although advised before coming but could’ve been reduced rates bit pricey. Air conditioner not working properly luckily we had the electric heaters. 1/2 dishwasher good. TV needs to be mounted on wall for easier viewing. Parking not available till next day although cheaper parking down at public car park overnight $3

We spent three nights here over the Easter weekend. The apartment itself is quite cosy and well laid out. It comes with all the amenities and a well stocked bathroom. The complex is also very central to both Lake Burley Griffin and surrounding restaurants, shops and parks.|What is not so good is the bed. To get a double bed they just push two singles together and cover it with something that forms a ridge right down the centre.

Friendly staff, very helpful. Great location. Very central - close to shops and CMAG. Easy walk to the lake. Comfortable bed and good facilities. We dined at the Banana Leaf - 3 times. Great food and service. The cafe, Capital Grind, was handy. Nice coffee and food.

This is the worst place ever!! Please do yourself a favour and save yourself a heap of money and avoid this place. Advertise two beds but one is actually a sofa bed which isn’t mentioned on their website. The rooms smell really bad, there’s no parking even though they advertise it but don’t tell you until you have paid!! The rooms service finishes at 8:30pm so if you arrive late you can’t eat, they charge a fortune and the rooms are so tiny it’s like being trapped in a fish bowl. Find somewhere else if you want to enjoy your stay!!

Nice customer service. The location is good. The Apartment Hotel is clean but dated. There were stains on the hallway carpets. The room itself had worn out looking furniture. Basic fridge, stove top and kitchen utensils. If you do not need anything fancy but location (close to restaurants) is important than this place would be great.

Location to Canberra Centre Mall and shops was very convenient.||Water damaged ceilings, worn carpet, mouldy damp odours - will not stay there again.||Level 1 of your hotel shows clear evidence of water damage, posing a significant health hazard to your guests. The extent of the damage is such that anyone with a mould or mycotoxin sensitivity—or related illness—may be affected. This was certainly the case for me, and my health was negatively impacted as a result of staying at your venue.||I have taken photographs of the water-damaged ceilings in the corridors we passed through daily to reach our room during our four-night stay. This issue requires immediate attention and remediation.||In our room, further signs of damp and mould were evident. The cupboards in both the sleeping area and bathroom smelled musty and damp. As a result, we avoided using them to prevent the unpleasant odour from transferring to our clothing, which we kept in our closed suitcases for the duration of our stay. We spent as little time as possible in the room and the venue overall to limit our exposure to mould and mycotoxins.||Despite the presence of a room filter, the air quality remained poor. The room smelled stale and musty, and we had to keep the verandah sliding door open as much as possible to allow fresh air in. This represents another serious health concern.||Additionally, the carpet in the corridors from our Level 1 room to the lifts shows clear signs of wear and tear—threadbare in several areas. The furnishings in our room were similarly worn. These items should be replaced or upgraded, as their current state gave the impression that the venue is poorly maintained. ||I cannot in good conscience recommend a stay at Nesuto until the water damage and associated health hazards are thoroughly addressed.
