Extremely Disappointing Stay – Misleading Information and Poor Service I stayed at the Nesuto Mount Bay Apartment Hotel from September 7 to September 14, and my experience was deeply frustrating. Upon check-in, the staff member Ivan clearly told me that breakfast was included. I even double-confirmed this multiple times, and three different people reassured me that breakfast was free. Naturally, I trusted what the hotel told me. Only at check-out did I discover that the hotel had quietly added charges for the breakfasts—charges that I never agreed to and was never informed about. This felt incredibly misleading. When I raised the issue, instead of acknowledging the miscommunication, Anthony, the front desk manager, was dismissive and unhelpful. His attitude made the situation even worse and left me feeling that the hotel does not take responsibility for its own mistakes. After checking online, I noticed several other guests reporting similar issues, which makes me believe this is not an isolated incident but a recurring problem that the hotel refuses to address. This experience ruined what should have been a simple and straightforward stay. I left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and frankly, cheated by the way the charges were handled. I strongly advise future guests to get every detail in writing and double-check your bill carefully, because verbal confirmations here clearly cannot be relied on.

Stayed in this Apartment condo in November 25. The hotel is within an apartment. I stayed in a 1 bedroom studio apartment . Rooms are dated but clean , tidy, comfortable bed with ample amenities provided for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Not very luxurious but great value for money. You can avail a basic gym, swimming pool and tennis court. Within walking distance of Elizabeth square and close reach of public transport - bus and rail. There are no eateries around. However their breakfast is excellent with ample variety and included in the room tariff

The staff here are the most lovely people I’ve dealt with in a long time! They went above and beyond to help with dietary requirements for breakfast and assisting us with our day before of our flight so we could explore the city! Would highly recommend. The rooms were very spacious, homely and comfortable

Breakfast is bang for your buck. Buffet style and quality is amazing. Highly recommend, especially with the kitchen/restaurant staff. Eggs and mushrooms were yummy! Will come back again.

wouldn’t give even give one star to this establishment. my company was told that breakfast will be complimentary throughout our stay upon check in by Ivan, the front desk personnel at that time. we then double confirmed thrice after and was even told ‘ALL GOOD’ just before we had breakfast the next day.a month after we checked out,we got charged exorbitantly for the supposedly complimentary breakfast. anthony LIE , the front office manager truly lives up to his name, LIEd and back tracked his words to something along the line that he actually meant that it was actually all good to charge and that we were told that breakfast was an option and will cost $25 per person. He even went to a greater length of telling me that ‘IVan wasn’t the one who checked me in. it was another staff’.To MR LIE, i think i know enough english to differentiate between ‘complimentary’ and ‘ breakfast is an option-$25 per person’. Mr LIE mentioned that in the booking email breakfast was not included . i looked through the email and there was no mentioned about breakfast at all in the email. it also does not say breakfast was excluded. so when Ivan mentioned that breakfast was complimentary, after confirming thrice that it was true, we naturally accepted it! will NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN EVEN IF IT WAS THE LAST HOTEL ON EARTH!

these guys are massive scammers. avoid them all costs! upon check in, we were told that there were complimentary breakfast. i confirmed with the front desk personnel, Ivan and he double confirmed that we are getting complimentary breakfast. A month after we left the accomodation, we were charged for the ‘complimentary’ breakfast that we had. Anthony Lie, the front office manager was massively unhelpful and was putting the blame on us. we will be complaining to ACCC for the misconduct, miscommunication and most importantly unauthorized transaction of credit card.

Great location. Walked to Kings park up and down the famous Jacobs Ladder. 15 mins walk to CBD. Had dinner at hygge bar just next door.

Apartments are dated , tv didn't have channel 7. I was humiliated in front of other people going for breakfast , telling me I will be charged for breakfast because I didn't say W in front of my room number. On checkout was told they were keeping my $200 bond because they wanted to charge me again for breakfast, after a heated discussion, they offered a discount that I took just have it done with, I complained to my work as it was a business trip, they contacted the reception desk and then I got a call from the reception desk advising they have refunded me . Yes they apologized and I also apologized as this was miss communication all round.

Yelp
We stayed a night in a 2 bedroom apartment. The location is convenient but watch out for those stupid speed bumps! If you have a 4x4 you may be ok - but my low profile sedan (which isn't impractically low) was scraping over each one - like nails down the blackboard I cringed with each scrape..... The rooms have Air-conditioning.... But no AC in the bedrooms - so if you need the comfort of AC and are sharing with people be sure you're comfortable with them because you'll be sleeping with the bedroom doors wide open and the AC in the living room on high.

Yelp
I stayed here with my family of 5 persons as part of my relocation package for 7 days. As we are a larger family we had luxury accomodation in the top floor apartment with its own roofterrace. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The facility is of high standard but disappointing was the very limited cutlery. A few plates only and in one size and just enough spoons and forks and knifes. So regular dishwashings as also the dishwasher was faulty. The first 2 nights were very hot as there was a heatwave in Perth and the airco in bedroom took 2 days to fix. The view from the apartment however was breathtaking and the cleaning was good. Reception staff friendly and helpful. The roofgarden was phenomenal but for children outright dangerous as the barrier to prevent falling off the roof is very low. To my surprise it complied with AU regulations! A big point of criticism was that for a nightly price of $700, ( employer paid this), there is no Internet included. Internet can be bought over Tomizone for 8$ per hour. I find this outrageous in 2013 especially given the high roomrate. The location of the hotel is great with easy access to the CBD, major highways and public transport All in all a good experience for us, but I understand from other reviews here that it may be different in apartments on other floors.

Yelp
How is this a four star hotel? Trip adviser kinda failed me on this one. I stayed for seven nights at this hotel along with about 80 of my colleagues during a port visit. Having traveled this year all around the world and having stayed in four star hotels in Dubai and other areas, I was utterly disappointed with this hotel. I read so many reviews before booking and I am shocked that I never heard the truth about this hotel from ay of them. I am going to lay it all out there for you so you ( the consumer) can make a sound decision on whether you really want to stay here based on the amenities. Let's start with my biggest pet peeve, the wireless. The wireless was HORRIBLE. Absolutely disappointed about the connectivity. It is essential that they fix this problem. I ended up having to pay around 100 dollars in wireless fees to update my phone and computer. Completely unsat. We live in a modern age, everyone needs wireless, especially travelers. They need to figure out how to accommodate this to serve the consumer. Next, I will go into the actual condition of the rooms. The rooms are cheap in appearance. Everything is cheap plastic and generic. The disparity between the rooms is great as well. My friends in one building with the same room had no AC that worked, cracks all over the appliances and ceilings, dirty bathrooms and broken lamps and lights. The soap dispensers couldn't have been cheaper. The carpet had a stain that looked like blood and was large. (WTH?!) Our room in another building was far better, the counter tops were nice, we had crown molding and cleaner carpets. The Tv's are travel-size, and the furnishings are bottom shelf to say the least. The keys are hard to get and obviously they have not updated their key service and wanted to charge me 25 dollars to get a fourth key to a three bedroom suite. This doesn't make sense, and it made getting in and out of the room very inconvenient. That all being said, the property was clean and the rooms themselves were not filthy. The best part was the service. Everyone that worked there was very hospitable and nice, willing to help as much as they could. I think the problem is with the owner who needs to consider updating the units and getting wireless for the paying customers. Next time I go to Perth, I will not be staying here and I recommend that you don't either. Some of my smarter friends stayed at the Hyatt, which was remarkably better, with spotless, classy amenities and only cost around 20 USD a night more that this place.

Yelp
Spent last weekend here with my wife . Nice part of town near Kings Park and overlooking the river , did some great walks. Really good food in the courtside restaurant, good value. We didn't use the 'kitchen' that was part of our suite. but used the internal laundry in our 1 bedroom apartment

Yelp
By far the perfect place to stay if you are heading to Perth- a few minutes walk gets you to the city centre and the waterfront area of Perth Add to that a lovely, very spacious and quiet apartment with a firm bed and powerful shower and a delicious breakfast - hard to fault really. Free security on site car parking and good internet service..For a longer stay having laundry facilities in the bathroom is great though no bath might deter others.nice breakfast & dinner service- very good value!
