Too bad it is impossible to give 0 stars. Bought some meats at Queens location, relying on store’s honesty did not check the dates. Spent $309 on meats etc. Upon arrival home opened one of the packaged sausages and putrid smell almost killed us. Packaging date was AUGUST15, 2024!!!! The rest of the meats were also expired. Thank God none of the kids opened and touched it! Stay away from this chain!

I went to buy a cheburek in the morning. The cheburek turned out to be not fresh and cold. Just like a piece of rubber galosh. Why put stale products up for sale, it's terrible, I won't go there again.

They have some delicious fresh baked bread. A ready to eat food bar, it's alright. Some stuff is tasty but mostly just alright and more than not the food smells/tastes like their refrigerator and cuz I guess they make it in large batches u can get something fresh or that's been there for who knows how long. In general quiet a large selection of anything you can think of russian food wise. Update. Became much larger, much cleaner, much more organized. The fruit and vegetables section is kept impeccable. Whole Foods should take notes!

Big supermarket in Rego Park Queens it so much options of international food plus kosher food if you interested big hot table of ready to eat food as well as big pickle options. Good amount of cold cuts cheeses and smoked fish. Customer service should get train to be more friendly and polite. When you go there it’s like to go back to Russia with rude people

Excellent grocery store! They sell good-quality, reasonably priced food. From what I’ve observed, they have a professional and very patient staff who graciously handle even the most difficult customers. Bravo!

Don't have a cafe inside but have great choices of baked goods

This netcost is horrible. Security guy is a racist. I asked him question in Russian (thinking he would be comfortable to speak that language), to which he barely answered in English, then mumbled that he doesn't speak Russian since he's Ukrainian. If the manager doesn't take care of this problem then this store will potentially loose Russian speaking customers. Also, cashiers must be polite to the clients! P.S. I dont have any problems about race or nationality. Just wanted to share my experience.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience shopping online at Netcost. The website advertised “Free Delivery,” which encouraged me to place an order. I spent 30 minutes carefully adding products to my cart and another 10 minutes registering and entering my credit card details. At checkout, I received a warning that my order was below the minimum required for delivery—something that was never mentioned in the advertisement. I had to call the store and spend another 10 minutes providing my address to the manager, only to find out the minimum order is $75. This critical detail should have been clearly stated upfront. Instead, they wasted 40 minutes of my time and collected my personal information without transparency. I will never shop with Netcost again and will continue to support Gastronom, which is a reliable store with excellent customer service.

Went to netcost today to return a loaf of bread that cost $2:89 its expired today but grew mold 3 days prior. I have shopped here for years never returned anything this was my first time. Ive had molded chocolate and rancid yogurt and one time a hair in the cooked food (an empanada to be exact and yes I have pics) but never returned any items (do not buy the cooked food I post about that later) But to the issue at hand I asked the cashier about returns and she said I couldn't return it because I didnt have a receipt so I asked for a manager a lady was called who was not a manager either, neither spoke english well in fact the cashier had to translate she also said no, neither were helpful. There was no manager at the store this was at 4:40pm. Instead she gave me a number to call which was "customer service" a lady answered and I told her the issue...she transferred me to a guy I told him the issue he said I should sign up for the free netcost membership then I would not need the receipt. However their policy is you can only return food items within 2 days of purchase even if it spoils after 2 days but not expired? So what he told me was pointless which I told him. He keep apologizing but DID NOT FIX THE ISSSUE. This makes zero sense and leads me to believe that they change dates on products and sell expired items while refusing to exchange the items. This seems to be a complaint of other customers. So I will be reporting them to the BBB. Hopefully you will fix your issues or you WILL BE EXPOSED by folks like myself. While I will not recommend going there as there are much better groceries who are much more accommodating in the neighborhood. I will keep shopping here occasionally and expose them every chance I get. As this is unacceptable for a $2:89 loaf of molded bread. DO BETTER .... Feel free to reach out netcost management your customer service is non existence a phone line solves nothing its a waste of money and time. Thank you

POS: My experience in NetCost has been positive. I have had so much positive experiences - the Cashiers are fast, friendly no matter your ethnicity, the floor staff are kind and make effort to help you. Management always tried to assist you - and the food display is clean, as are the fruit and vegetables - the store is inviting and always being cleaned. There are sales with great prices - NETCOST has become my favorite market CON: Except for on a few occasions there was a guard that followed me around, not knowing I have been shopping in this store since it opened. I allowed him to follow me and then I followed him. Not mad, people do steal but after a few times, I hope he is convinced I am not a thief - I would allow my bags to be searched anytime.

Placed the order on Sunday for monday delivery. THey lost the order then lied that its being collected. Then told me they can't deliver it because its busy. Then promised to deliver next morning. Never did. Not reliable, Poor customer service. No compensation was offered

If you are a person of color, you might want to avoid this Net Cost. It seems that they only like white presenting people to shop here. I am a professional black woman and my experience shopping here has been horribly racist. On numerous occasions, I have been followed and watched by more than one worker at a time. They work as a team. One will pretend to take pictures of empty isles while I'm shopping, while the other worker will guard the front while I'm checking out. It got to the point where I had to ask "Are you following me? They answered me "no", but it's really obvious when every time I look behind me, you are behind me pretending to fix something. When I shop here I am usually the only black person in the store. I see the same two people following me. I believe one is the manager. I am a black professional woman who looks like one. I pay for my things and leave. I do not deserve to be followed or watched ever so closely when I have given no reason for anyone to do so. It's called racially profiling and it's racist. If Net Cost cares about diversity or the community that they serve, there needs to be unconscious bias training for all employees, especially managers. I have never been so insulted in my life and the workers and managers there should be ashamed of themselves.

They sell rotten products. The money was not refunded!!! It is not expired by date, but there is spoiled meat inside. Perhaps they are re-pasting the price tag. Be careful.

I have used Netcoast queens branch for home food deliveries. I had multiple issues with eggplants. I usually order Canadian eggplants, which are smaller in size, delicious and more expensive. Netcoast consistently delivers me different brand of eggplants for the higher price, meaning they deliver me chipper eggplants for the price of more expensive eggplants. Management doesn't take it seriously, because it happened 4 times. Despite of convenience of home delivery, I am going to stop ordering from them. Watch your products when you order from Netcoast

The staff here is very helpful. Easy to find things. The food if fresh usually, never experience any old produce from this place. The atmosphere in this store is really clean, well organized too

I've come here a decent amount over the past years. It's a last resort for me though. Recently, if you're not Russian they're not helpful or friendly, except for the deli counter. Since they reorganized the store, asking someone to help is futile. They just say I don't know and walk away. When Key Foods is preferable, you know this place is terrible.

This is my favorite supermarket. Good selection of products. Permanent discounts. The best prices on the market

We came to buy a Praga cake, and after opening it we discovered that it was a regular American kind cake, with white layers inside(but Praga cake is supposed to be chocolate!) We got disappointment, as we drove all the way from Nassau County to get it:( Do not recommend buying it!!!

Very big supermarket with the food from all over the world if you need anything I'm sure you going to find there even pharmacy is there. Only problem is staff that has no manners maybe that's only Russian thing to be rude

The store is nice and most of the staff is friendly, except for one very vulgar and obnoxious woman who takes care of the cooked food. I don't know her name. She has dark hair, wears it in a ponytail, wears tight pants, and doesn't speak any English, just Russian. Incident 1. I once witnessed how rudely she talked to a customer. A woman bought 2 knishes with potatoes and mushrooms from the cooked station. She then asked the obnoxious one to warm them up. She in turn, in a rude manner and tone told her: "Go first pay, and then I'll warm it up." The woman noticed that I was looking. She had a surprised look on her face and just shook her head. Incident 2. I was shopping in the store. I noticed they sell Kalamata olives. Not all Kalamata taste the same. With a metal spoon, I put one olive in a small plastic container and tasted it. I didn't like it, so I was looking for a recycle bin to throw out the container. Suddenly, the obnoxious woman runs out and, you wouldn't believe it, but this was the conversation: She: What are you doing with that container? Me: I tasted the Calamata olive, didn't like it and I'm looking for a recycle bin. She: You took the container to walk around and taste all the food on the table? We don't allow it. I was shocked and speechless before I could tell her off. I think she was taken aback when she saw the shocked expression on my face. I couldn't believe that someone would talk to a customer like that. I never buy ready-cooked food in the store since I'm on a special diet. She actually offended me in front of people. They too shook their heads. I've never heard anyone talk like this to a customer in any store. The obnoxious woman should not be in contact with customers. She is rude and her manners are rough.

Seem to have a lot of items they are definitely Russian oriented. Doing business in a diverse neighborhood a business should be easier to communicate

Food is always spoiled . Date is always expired. One day I was walking by and a rat ran out of the supermarket. Produce is rarely fresh . Food is overpriced. Deli closes early and the owner is grimy. He gets mad because his food is spoiled and he doesn't want to take returns . They are actually all like that in there . I will not go back . I will take the extra walk 4 blocks down to the other supermarkets.

The service is bad. The staff doesn't know what products are available in the store and the manager too. There are no gluten free products that is important and healthy. I tried to call to the store - No response! I have a feeling that I am back in Russia.

I love this place, especially since I live right around the corner from it. Not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from. I've had a few moments where I ran into a rude customer but never the situation where it was an employee. A lot of the produce is fresh and it's all neatly stocked. I love coming here for fresh produce and cheeses. They also have some international products that I use. I've always had a positive experience with the employees. And their prices are pretty reasonable. Lots of options to choose from

Netcost has done extensive renovations since covid. The space between aisles are bigger and the flow is a lot better since they moved the exit to the other end of the store. However, there are not as many brands to choose from since they did reduce shelf space. Also it seems like the prices has gone up a bit from before covid but I think that's a nationwide trend.

This is the email I sent to NetCost Customer Service: Rude and Xenophobic Female Deli Worker - Rego Park Store - 09/18/2021 Good afternoon, My son and I decided to go to your Rego Park location, to pick up some specialities from my childhood. We had a good experience at the Smoked Fish counter - wonderful young man (tall, blonde fellow) and throughout the rest of your store. I decided to get some Hunters Sausage at the Deli counter. Once my turn came, the Blonde Female counter person immediately barked for my order. I stated, in English, that I would like 1/2 lb of the Hunters Sausage, she asked again with a slightly raised voice; I again stated what I would like; this time in English and Russian: 3 times. The counter person then asked me why I didn't just order in Russian to begin with; I stated it is much easier for me to speak in English and reminded her that not all customers can or are comfortable to speak Russian (I have a stutter when I speak Russian as I came here when I was 3) and she should not feign ignorance. Again I told her what I want in Russian, she pointed to what I asked for in the case after being very rude under her breath -$16.79 a pound I let her know. She then proceeds to hand me a completely different product, telling me that is what I asked for. Thankfully there was a gentleman who mentioned that I did order correctly initially and she did point to the correct product. Once again, this counter person said something rude and this time Xenophobic under her breath. Well, I responded in kind, in Russian - this time I am sure she understood me. I then left your Deli counter without anything, paid for my other items and am still shaking over this. I have avoided your store for some time; always experiencing rudeness and at times disgusting comments - again, I understand Russian 100%. I was encouraged by some friends and told that things have changed a bit, so took a chance. My son and I were having a good shopping trip... until EVERYTHING that I had dealt with in the past with your staff, happened again. My suggestion is to train your Deli staff on proper customer service. This isn't acceptable. Not everyone is White, not everyone is Russian or Ukrainian or from the former Soviet Republics , not everyone fits whatever Xenophobic mold they focus on. I'm appalled. You are doing this community a disservice; you are showing EXACTLY who is welcome, and who isn't. If your cashiers are wonderful, which they are, then the staff behind the Deli counter should emulate that. Do better. Train your staff. Act like good neighbors to EVERYONE who comes to your store(s). Never setting foot in your store again, and will be letting folks know exactly why.

Great food,great service, everything fresh and new. My favorite bread and products. Place where i do my weekly grocery shopping.Very professional, friendly and polite cashiers. Overall would put 5 stars However Rude,arrogant and disrespectful security worker changed my opinion about this place. Impolite security worker stands in front of the store and makes irrelevant comments and phrases about costumers triggering conflicts.

Netcost is a Russian owned and operated grocery store in Rego Park. They have the best selection of fruits and veggies in the neighborhood. They also have a lot of Russian delicacies in the steam tables and the deli counter. They also favor Russian speaking customers over non-Russian speaking customers. On more than one occasion I've been skipped over at the deli counter because I do not speak Russian. After the person behind the counter took a Russian speaking woman ahead of me I told the deli person that I was next, her reply, OK I'll get to you. She did after taking care of another Russian speaking customer. Just make sure they don't skip over you. I also do not feel welcome in this store. Russian announcements are blasted over the stores sound system and signs are in Russian resulting in having to ask what certain things are. Your results may differ. I still prefer Stop & Shop!

Large Food Selection International products. We visited this store 2 days a go. I purchase Red Caviar Peter Pan . This Caviar was spoiled already. Taste terrible. And smells bad Probably this product was on Vetrina long time:(. Really upsetting bad experience. Lost off money and time.

Two days ago I bought two beef tongues, $40 each for Christmas. After unpacking them they were smelling so bad that I had to throw them in the trash. Stay away from this store, they're selling expired food.

I bought this yesterday. Opened it today. Found pieces and dots don't know of what scattered on them, looks like wood shavings to me. That's absolutely distasteful..

My family always hits up the Net Cost locations all over Brooklyn but I've recently been visiting the Rego Park one. Okay, so it may not be on steroids like the others I've been to, but they have a lot of variety when it comes to their products. The prices are unbeatable if you compare them to chain supermarket prices (for example, a bag of pre-washed salad mix will cost you anywhere from $3.50-5.99 elsewhere, but here I pick it up for $1.99!), and their prepared food bar is AMAZING. They have all my favorite Russian eats from the salads, to the chicken, to the duck, to the cutlets, to the perogies, to the blini (crepes), and alllllllllll the salads and spreads. The best part, aside from the food, is the lack of lines and chaos! I'm in and out in minutes. Ugh Net Cost, why do you not exist in Manhattan or Long Island?!

Very disappointing visit to this store today(((( Employee name Mila was very rude to me and my child. Super disrespectful .My Daughter came to the table with crapes ,it was no one at the table and no sign that you have to wait for worker to help with food so my child wear the cloves and put crapes in plastic container. Employee Mila came to us and start cursing us with terrible words and call us mentally retarded people. Of course we never coming back to this NET cost Market again. This woman was acting like a lowlife bazar person from samarkand or bukhara. They keep forgetting that this is America and you have to change your wild behavior. !!!!!And act normal and polite if you want to keep your job and Respect customers.

What can I say, I have a soft spot in my heart for immigrant places. To be fair I compared it to other such places, as in markets in Chinatown etc. If you are used to the customer service of places like whole foods you might be disappointed. These places offer something different and unique, with foods that you might not find at basic American supermarkets, thus you must decide for yourself whether the benefits outweigh the risks. If you are in the mood for cake I would recommend trying kievsky tort/ Kiev cake. Fyi: at the deli you can ask for samples to try before purchasing so you know what you are buying.

I suggest for the customers to be very alert and attentive at the cash register at NetCost in Rego Park, Queens. A few times I have witnessed an attempt (hard to say either accidental or purposeful) to overcharge by putting the higher price per pound for an item. Also, the items with sale tags often don't come out with the sale price at the cash register, so - make sure to remember the price of the item when you pick it up! Today the cashier named Jasmine was about to charge me $4.99 per pound of produce, instead of $1.49. I have noticed it by pure chance, as the register's display is somewhat "crowded" with info and therefore confusing. She didn't even apologize when I have pointed at her mistake. I feel sorry for the elderly people who can't see well and would most likely miss this type of "mistake".

I bought lettuce yesterday, it looks green and fresh on the outside but when I start washing to make my salad the Inside was rotten. I went to return but the manager did not accept my claim She did because of the Covid 19 returns r not accepted ... this was the second time this happened to my shopping's. The first time I did.not butter to complain.... come on that is lettuce and rotten you can easyly take it and throw in the garbeage and give me a really fresh one.... I did not go back to buy anything yet....

Great having this market in the neighborhood. The main thing this market has over the markets around the area, fruit selection. It has a total strangle hold on the fruit game in the Rego Park/Forest Hills area. First the selection is varied and fresh. So if you see a fresh box of strawberries, buy some, they may not be there tomorrow. Prices vary a great deal for the fruits, ranging from constant bargains (bags of persimmons and kiwis for a a buck or two) to the absurd (a watermelon in the 20s). Pick and choose. Moving on from the fruit section, come to the veggie area. Always with a solid selection of different peppers. Assorted mushrooms, brussel sprouts, starchy veggies, leafy greens and herbs. Section and kept clean and bright. We then move on to the self serve hot and cold food area. Avoid at all costs. See many people take a bite of food and dump it back. Steal and eat the whole damn thing, don't contaminate the tray for the rest of us. Odd thing, there is usually an employee around here but they never say anything. Dessert aisle is the best. Russian cakes are just flat out sweet and rich. I'm into that, sponge in cakes makes no sense whatsoever. Cakes made out of only chocolate, cream, mousse, and custard. The sausage section is OK in a pinch, personally prefer the Polish markets in Greenpoint for sausages. Never really bothered with the butcher. Fish, anchovies, herrings are all priced well here. A very deep beer selection, mainly consisting of eastern European beers and Russian brews. Cheap as heck so always tempted to buy a few different ones to try. Have yet to actually like one, so usually take a sip and end up using the beer to cook or marinate stuff with.

I love coming here for all things Russian and Eastern Europe; baked goods (made onsite, or prepackaged), cookies, breads, jellies, dairy products, dried fruit, fish (fresh or frozen) steam table pre-made dishes, juices, fresh fruits and vegetables...you name it! Prices run from reasonable to rather high. Their "home" made cakes are amazing, the riotous color and variety of produce soft, fresh breads, and deli counter items will make you want to buy it all. Be sure to try at least one or two of the many steam table items; they will bring out the Russian in you!

I was so excited for this place to open. When it finally did, I went in and was overwhelmed by the amazing selection of food from my home country, the friendly staff, and the abundance of hot/cold prepared food that would surely help out during busy weeks. The first few times I went here, I loved the salads, the sale items (Akbar tea for 89¢ a package!) and just about everything. But that was only three weeks after the store opened... Now recently, things have changed: it hasn't even been a month, but quality is surely declining. The prepared meats are mostly fat and barely any actual meat (case in point, any of the lamb dishes. I don't know what they do with the usable meaty portions, but what you get is lamb fat and a piece of bone). The salads look a day old. The prepared meatballs are mostly flour and starch, not meat. The egg-pierogies (mayo-less egg salad baked into a flaky bun) have SHELLS! They cut corners everywhere it seems! The cold cuts: I recently got a piece of hard bone in my bologna that nearly chipped my tooth. I guess the taste of Mother Russia isn't complete without questionable bologna ingredients. (Just as a side-note, the bologna I got said "German.") The produce is a HORROR. One of the reasons I was so excited about this place, besides the fact that its a supermarket that has all my favorite foods from home, is that they had a huge produce section; most Russian stores in the area do not. I was excited at the prospect of being able to buy everything in one place. I went here recently and had to spend HALF AN HOUR picking an onion because most HAD MOLD ON THEM. That is just unacceptable, especially for a place that is less than a month in business. I was baffled. The tampering with expiration dates is also quite horrifying, so be on the lookout for modified expiration dates. The staff aren't nearly as friendly, although they still do mill around. This place had and still has a lot of potential if they get their act together. It's amazing to have a Russian supermarket where you can shop for everything, including produce. However, if their quality control doesn't get better, I will gladly pay more at a nearby small store and get produce somewhere else.

netcost really invested in the area by doubling in size this Spring during covid, so please help support them now that aisles are wider, no unpack box clutter around, more space between cashiers and even lighting has improved. I have not noticed many new product lines or types, they still "sale" nearly expired items, so I'm mostly being star generous due to the renovation. during covid they have a door person mask checking and limiting numbers in the store, and are thankfully tolerant of bikes and e-scooters.

Stay far away, most of their products are tainted and old. I bought organic cottage cheese and extra virgin olive oil. When I got home the cottage cheese was green and the olive oil bitter. Buyers beware and make sure expired products don't go unnoticed. The owners only care about a profit and could care less about quality. Their products over priced and salads by the pound sit in the open for dust, dirt, people sneezing and coughing to taint walking by. Disgusting....

Been to a few Net cost stores in Brooklyn, was always happy to find everything I need, and never complained about freshness of the food I got ( it was not always delicious, but never occurred to me I was buying expired food ( whatever packed, sealed, weighted it was). Last week I was craving for some Russian food and made trip to Net Cost in Queens. Got everything I wanted including cooked food that is now packed due to coronavirus (before quarantine, you pack cooked food yourself, weight it) . As it was packed, I did not see much inside, but labels describe what's inside. next day, I was about to warm meatballs I got . Once I opened package, I saw mold covering food.... Needless to say, I lost my appetite immediately... Label stated food was cooked May 12, I got it on May 14, was trying to warm in up on May 15....It is absolutely disgusting, they clearly relabel / repackage food to be able to get red of it. I was about to throw up... DISGUSTING !!!

Small store ,they tried to packed it with stuff, in isle now way two people can pass each other with carts ...

I got terrible experience at Queens grocery store today. Cashier at the checkout was rude, unprofessional and arrogant. Start respect your customers!

5:10 pm 12/27 near salad bar: employee took soup from a customers container and dumped it back into the pot. MAJOR cross contamination. Will be looking into how to report. Awful! I can only imagine what happens at the open air salad bar .... Also saw basic strawberries for 11$ a container. Do they think this is Serbia? Every other store has them for 5$ MAX and easily found for 2$. Lord almighty.

The cashier was not smiling and rude. Very bad customer services. Will not come back.

Overall a pretty good supermarket. Prices on a lot of items seem to be lower than in other markets and everything is fresh... but unfortunately its overcrowded most of the time (place is not that big). Line to the cold-cut section is always super long, so I never get a chance to get my favorite sausage. Good E.European food selection & going there is very convenient if you are a Russian living in Queens! Male staff and ladies at the register are pretty friendly. However, the very first time I went there I had a bad experience with a woman who sounded like perhaps she was the supervisor there? She yelled at me after I asked her a question.. but its ok. I will be coming back anyway. JUST MAKE SURE NOT TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS & YOU WILL BE FINE. lol

Love this store for deli, meats and fish.. A unique selection of European foods. I wish I ate bread because it looks amazing, but I dont eat carbs bummet. The salad bar is large with hot and cold foods along with an incredible array of foods , love the seaweed salad and mushrooms. Meats are so fresh and also a great selection of dried fruit and nuts. Give it a shot you will not be disappointed.

I walked in to buy some hamantaschen. As soon as I walked in, I noticed people giving me cold stares and following me with their eyes as I went around the store. I thought I was just imagining things, but then I came onto Yelp and what do you know: tons of non-white reviewers have felt the same before. If you aren't white, you'll be made to feel not welcome here. Unacceptable and deplorable, so this place gets no more business from me. By the way, the hamantaschen looked dry.

Been to the sheepshead bay location thousand times, started shopping at this one since I moved to Roosevelt island, the place is smaller than the one on brooklyn and the selection naturally is less, nonetheless the selection beats any of regular big chains so do the prices, it is not cheap but it's sure cheaper than stop and shop, and other grocery stores, the selection is also better than other ethnic stores I.e Chinese, Lebanese such as Baladi or Indian such as Patel brothers. The salad bar and hot food bar are amazing but would rather see it closed with an attendant helping shoppers than people trying stuff or mixing them. Pickled are amazing, salads are really good and the Napoleon cake and the honey cake are to die for. Staff are nice, sometimes you meet some rude people, but its seems to be part of the culture. Great place, I highly recommend it

Shop with varied products, local, European, Russians and Israeli. Most of the staff speaks Russian to those who are relevant. There is a bakery, varied and quality prepared food, Butcher (including kosher meat area), fruit, vegetables, dairy products, etc. A variety of homemade salads, reasonable prices.

Hands down the most horrible customer care experience I've seen in my life. Even within the Russian world it was outstanding in its disrespect. Yesterday I was there waiting at the cold cuts counter. 4 people behind the counted and only one working. Another one making jokes with a girl customer, another one cutting cheese for display; another one does God knows what. They saw the customers waiting and complaining and in a typical Russian manner disregards the customers on purpose. Then I was looking for a shopping cart and asked for an employee for help. He barked at me " no more carts" without even stopping. I go to Russian stores about every 6 months and every time I go, I realize why I go so rarely. But that experience beat them all. Stay away!!!!

The store is great from a convenience perspective. You can buy regular supermarket items, fruits and veggies, as well as Russian food. The prices aren't the cheapest, but the convenience factor is worth it. The staff are hit or miss. Some are very nice. Some are rude. I do have an issue at times with the food. The hot bar is awesome, but, some (gross) people will try the food and then after tasking with the fork will put into another dish with their germs fork. The staff need to do more to prevent this. Super gross. I haven't had an issue with expiration dates, but j have bought bologna and some milk based desert which were both spoiled. So be careful.

Stay away from the hot food section. Today I was watching how mother and daughter was standing next to the grilled chicken (not sure exactly what kind of meat it was), and the daughter took a piece of the meat, took a bite and PUT IT BACK!!! (her mother did not even say anything, even though she was watching her doing this) Please put more employees who can watch hot food section!!! To those who wrote reviews about experiencing bad customer service with Russian employees and faced with the bad Russian manners: they are not Russians and have nothing to do with Russia and Russian manners. Yes, they can speak Russian, but only because they are from the former Soviet Union. If the person speaks Russian, it does not mean he/she is Russian and has Russian manners. The majority of this NetCost Market location employees are Uzbeks, Tajiks and Ukrainians!

I think there are a few items that are overpriced but overall it is the closest market that sells Eastern European staff in Queens and cashiers are always nice. I hope they have enough patience to handle old customers who always like complaining.

I am so pleased that NetCost has added the delivery service, by far, better that what i had from Instacart. I have been shopping at NetCost occasionally and enjoying the quality and quantity of their products, so many choices at reasonable pricing. Recently, they have added the delivery service which makes my shopping a breeze because I am going to use it from now on. Although the online order web service could be a little more user friendly but it's not a deal breaker as could always get an enthusiastic Customer Service Rep on the phone to help me out if I need something. The grocery is well packed in dry ice and insulated bags for the perishables and all got delivered on time. The service fee is transparent and reasonable. I highly recommend NetCost delivery service for anyone who can't get to their store (which will be another great experience) but want diverse and good quality groceries.
