"The central meadow in Prospect Park is our favorite place to relax on the weekends. Enter from the Lincoln Road entrance to the park, go under the Cleft Ridge Span and over the Lullwater Bridge past the Boathouse to find it; it even has the cooolest name "Neathermead" (him). It's usually less crowded than the more popular Long Meadow, and from the center of Nethermead you can't see any buildings—it's a great escape." - Erin Mercurio & Jak Horner
This is one of the most difficult fields to locate in the park. Unfortunately, it’s a ways from the nearest restroom. Leave by dusk – that time belongs to the rats.
All that said, it’s much less crowded than other fields in the park.
