I visited the place because of the buildings of architect Frank Gehry, as I know only his "dancing house" from Prague, where it is a symbol of modern architecture of the 90s. The middle house with its shiny metal facade reminded me of the dynamic sculpture "Franz Kafka" by sculptor David Černý, which I also know from Prague. So I felt at home here. The trio of houses in Neuer Zollhof look very complex and the area as a whole has a very fresh and airy feel.

It is always a pleasure to see some architectural complex thought by an archistar. Frank Gehry is a master and this residential complex hardly can't be appreciated. The whole area is very interesting, I recommend to come and have a walk for all lover of modern architecture.

I had no idea this building was in Dusseldorf, I knew it was in Germany but was a very pleasant surprise when a walk around town took us by Mr. Gehry's masterpiece. The textures and shapes are breathtaking, especially on a sunny day. A sapphire sky gave incredible contrast. Just wow!
