The hotel's location is the best thing it has to offer. A block away from where most of the departing boat rides are, very close to where the hydrofoils depart from, 5 minute walk and you are at the hermitage, 10 minute walk from the city's main Avenue, close to the Mariinsky theatre and 5 minutes away from the famous "Strogonoff" restaurant. Breakfast is ok, it could be better, but it is filling, the hotel is clean, staff is really helpful and were kind to me day and night. Prices are fair, I would totally stay there once again! If you are looking for 4 star luxury, don´t stay here, this is your typical 3 star hotel, but with the best location in the city!

The desk workers are the best thing about this hotel. Gleb, Alexi and a young woman switch off running the front desk. They are all sweet and very helpful. The room is very basic, but clean. Breakfast is not great, but fresh and included with the room. The hotel is very well situated in St. Petersburg. A short walk to the Hermitage, the Pier and many nice restaurants. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

This is a quaint hotel in an ideal location currently undergoing renovations. We arrived to find that we only has 1 room booked, should have been 2. The receptionist was apologetic and sorted this out in a sppedy manor. The rooms were very clean but a little dated but this added to the charm. My only criticism was that each time you went through a door it bleeped and being next to this, we could hear it through the night as people came and went. The hotel breakfast was basic but what they had was more than enough to set you up for the day. The location was prefect for us, as we walked everywhere but the metro was a good walk away. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation and they had started with the enterance hall. What they had completed before we left was light and airy. We would definately stay there again if we go back.

If the location is what is most important for you than this hotel is ok. I did’t even got a chance to use the metro or other public transport for that matter cause everything is so close, starting from the river Neva and the cruises, or going with speed boat to Peterhof. Then if you are up for walking, you are a walking distance from Nevsky prospect, churches and museums.||But then the breakfast is poor and all the same every day, the rooms don’t have much of a view and although they have everything necessary, they can’t make any impressions in any way because they don’t have character. The staff is nice and helpful for sure, so they do make impressions and good one for sure. I don’t have pics from the hotel, but there are ones from the white nights over Neva right next to the hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for the 2018 World Cup. It’s a small hotel but the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and are a bit more modern compared to other hotels we stayed in in Russia. ||Staff were amazing and always willing to help whether sorting out transport or ordering food in for us. ||Water coolers on every level which was great considering that you can’t drink tap water. WiFi is super fast!

This hotel is ideally situated for the Hermitage and tourist area. It is a small hotel off a back street with no view and the walls are a bit thin. But staff were so helpful, and even opened the canteen early so we could have breakfast and then provided us with lunch for our train journey. The staff made the hotel.

We spend 3 nights at Nevsky Brees. Really nice location, very central and on a silent street. The room was clean but looks very old. The breakfast was nearly ok, no fresh bread, no fried eggs, but the coffee was ok!||Based on the price and location I will recommend the hotel.

We stayed there for three nights and we loved it: strategic location, cheap, clean, very kind clerks, good breakfast. You don’t need anything else from a dignitous hotel in the very centre of Saint Petersburg next to the main touristic sites.|I sincerely recommend it.
