What a disappointment. This was my second time here in about 20 years, and now I remember why it's taken so long. Food was quite average, service was terrible (our waitress sadly didn't understand almost anything) and it will be a long time before I go back again ... if ever. Food all came out at the wrong time. Entrees with mains, and mains with entrees. After eating, only half the table was cleared. One dish, the chicken and mushroom casserole, was so bad that I left 95% of it, and was never asked if it was ok, or was something wrong. Eventually the waitress asked if we WANTED her to clear it off the table (after everything else was taken away a long time ago. All of that coupled with a flat Coke, left a bad impression on us all. The redeeming feature was the Russian chicken dumplings with mushroom sauce; they were outstanding. I really wanted to love/like it here, but sadly I didn't, and wouldn't rush back or recommend.

Nevsky Russian Restaurant is truly a gem for authentic Russian cuisine! The food is absolutely outstanding—rich in flavor and prepared to perfection. The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I highly recommend trying their incredible selection of infused vodkas and the well-balanced menu—every dish is a true taste of Russia. Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing Russian and Ukrainian war, they are performing exceptionally well, maintaining high-quality standards and adapting with excellent substitutes for unavailable items. Chef takes time to visit each table to talk about the food, making the experience even more personal and special. Nevsky is more than just a restaurant—it’s a warm, authentic culinary experience that everyone should try. Highly recommend this amazing place for food, vodka, and unforgettable hospitality!

Below average tasting food quality and portions, customer service average and prices well above average. This place is highly overrated. Would not recommend. Took my Russian girlfriend there and she didn’t like it either.

Every dish was authentic, flavorful, and prepared with such care. From the delicious borscht to the perfectly cooked pelmeni, each bite transported us straight to Russia. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations and ensuring we had a fantastic dining experience. Amazing food and outstanding service! The dumplings in creamy mushroom sauce were rich and delicious, and the fricassee was comforting and perfectly baked. The staff were friendly, polite, and made excellent recommendations. A must-visit for anyone who loves Russian cuisine!

I brought my half Russian wife here, we absolutely adored the food and atmosphere. Whilst the food was great the Borsch was delicious we could eat that all day. The Sirbirkse Pelmeni were also a massive highlight as well. However if being honest the portions where not as great as we had seen in images online.

I recently had the utmost pleasure of attending my cousins 40th birthday celebration at Nevsky. Huge banquets are customary for Russian birthdays, so I've been to quite a few in my life. Never have I experienced this level of culinary excellence, customer service, and just down to earth friendliness at a Russian establishment. To start off, the food is out of this world. Beef piroshki, sliced meats, salads, pickled vegetables, king prawns, salmon, blinchiki with red caviar and so much more. Did I mention that was just to start out? Beef blinchiki, fricassee, salmon and prawn cutlets, and GRILLED QUAIL ON TOP OF LAMB CHOPS. My mind was blown. There were even more dishes that I probably forgot to mention, but the last stood out the most. It was just all phenomenally prepared and left me reaching for more to the point where I had to force it down. Don't even get me started on dessert. For drinks, your selection is almost endless. Shots of Russian Standard were flowing nonstop that night. They stock 16 more vodka varieties in addition to that, including my favorite Belvedere. The beer is outstanding as well, with Baltika #3,4,7, the fantastic Nevskoye Classic Ale, and some other more common brands. They feature a nice bar area downstairs where they'll whip up cocktails to your liking as well. Ilya and his crew worked tirelessly to make the night a success. All requests were fulfilled with the highest level of efficiency and professionalism. The entire staff here is extremely friendly and approachable. Ilya runs a wonderful business and I commend him for his work. It was a pleasure sharing one last vodka shot of the night with him. Whether it's a banquet or a dinner for two, Nevsky is the place to go for outstanding Russian food and phenomenal service. If you come here and don't have a shot of vodka, though, you'll be missing out.
