Yelp
I have been to this market around once per year over the past five years or so, so it has been neat to see how much it has grown. Also, I live in SoCal, land of daily epic farmers markets, yet still I have a soft spot for this market. I feel like it has a lot of potential.
To be honest though, there isn't much in the way of actual "farmers" at this market. Last time I was there, I counted 2 or 3 tables with produce, and that's it. HOWEVER....It could also be due to the off-season, though.
The majority of tables are crafts--lots of cheap jewelry and crocheted and sewed things that you don't really need. There was even a table selling doll clothes. There's homemade soap, local honey, wine, baked goods, salsa (yummy), and sausage. But listen: the SAUSAGE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BUY. I don't know if I can remember having sausage as delicious as this. It is SO GOOD and cheap. Buy some and cook it up. SO GOOD.
Overall, this market is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. There are some gems!
