Our room was spacious, hot water was working. Too bad we just didn’t get to use the pool due to renovations. We heard it will be renovated to be like a high end casino hotel. ||However, what made our staycation remarkable was the hotel personnel who were all very nice, sincere, and accomodating.||Special mention to Sir Cyrel of Concierge and Sir Renato Antonio of Housekeeping. They were really very hospitable and service oriented.||Sir Renato cleaned our rooms without needing to ask. He was very courteous, friendly and diligent in his work.||Sir Cyrel made sure everything was ok when we checked-in and even personally assisted us when we checked-out. ||Hope the hotel management can give special recognition to its top quality personnel. They deserve it.

Well for starters . New coast hotel's location is very convenient. The beach is about 300 meters away and there are alot of attractions, stores and malls nearby. Although the city is quite chaotic and full of people. The atmosphere of the location has it charm. I had a king sized room and requested a king sized bed and i got what i requested. The room is a combination of old school class and a tiny bit of modern class. The value of the reservation is quite good Although i always recommend to book ahead of time . Roomservice is daily and it is fast and efficient and cleanliness was pretty spot on. My roomservice woman's name was Mitch even though she had to work to do. She always made a Little bit of time to talk to me the customer and had always a friendly smile. The noise level of the was good and quite although they are currently under renovation. Service is good they always smile at you and are totally a friendly and professional at the same time However if you want to get a little closer. You have to initiate friendly talk to them . The hotel has a in built cassino, som lounges ,and restaurant's. The food taste good and they have country inspired meal that changes monthly that the chef recommends. So in short although i could not go in to the grand Entrance dou to renovations. I had a blast and alot of nice experiences in the new coast hotel.

I recently stayed at New Coast Hotel Manila, and overall I had a comfortable and pleasant experience. The staff were welcoming, and the service throughout my stay was impressive. I’d like to give special recognition to Zyrus Alonzo, who provided outstanding assistance during my visit. He was attentive, professional, and made sure all my concerns were addressed quickly and politely. His support definitely elevated my stay.||||The only downside was that the pool was closed due to renovation, which was a bit disappointing since I was looking forward to using the facility. However, I understand that upgrades are necessary, and I hope to try it on my next visit once it reopens.||||Despite that, the hotel’s hospitality, cleanliness, and excellent service—especially from Zyrus—made my stay enjoyable. I would still recommend New Coast Hotel Manila and look forward to returning.

I visited this hotel more than five years ago, and it left a great impression on me. The place was excellent back then, offering comfort, quality, and outstanding service. Recently, I had the chance to visit again while the hotel was undergoing maintenance, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it still remains one of the best.||Even with the renovations in progress, the atmosphere, cleanliness, and staff professionalism continue to stand out. It’s clear that the hotel is committed to maintaining high standards and ensuring a great experience for its guests.||Overall, it’s a place I would definitely recommend, and I look forward to visiting again once the improvements are complete.

I rarely write reviews, but my parents were so impressed with their stay here at New Coast Hotel Manila. I booked my parents to stay at the hotel because they enjoy spending time at Robinson’s Shopping Mall every time they fly to the Philippines for a holiday. My parents were impressed with the location, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. They were very impressed that the linens and towels were replaced every day, and the complimentary drinks and water were stocked up also every day; making sure everything is fresh, clean and that they are comfortable. I have shared this hotel with my other family members and, they too, have stayed here. Thank you for welcoming my family and ensuring they had a good and comfortable time. We will surely be checking again here soon.

It's unfortunate that there has been renovation going on while I was staying here so was not able to enjoy the pool and the main entrance was dusty and covered because of the renovation. Nonetheless, the hotel room was spacious! It has a bath tub too. The view outside.. well better not look at it. Just the busy streets and buildings in Manila. This hotel is a block away from Robinson's Manila which offers a lot of food options to choose from. Breakfast is good and has a lot of options too! Did I mention this hotel is connected to La Vie Resort and Casino? Like you are literally in the same building. The breakfast buffet area is just adjacent to VIP Casino.

Yelp
This is a very good hotel located South of Ft Santiago and Binondo (oldest Chinatown in the world), and North of the Mall of Asia. Strategically, it's a great place to stay. There are some pockets of poverty--but that's Manila. It's a fact of life there. If anyone wants to be oblivious to poverty in Manila, stay at the Hilton; it's connected to Newport Mall with everything you need and you never have to leave that hotel. From New Coast, Robinsons Mall, McDonalds, Jollybees and Dunkin Donuts are all walking distance. There were live bands performing outdoors (with Filipino street food) during Laviefest 2025 in November. The hotel service was beyond outstanding. If we needed towels, they showed up. Room service showed up whenever we wanted and the food was delicious. They made the rooms very well and even folded our clothes. The hotel provided exceptional laundry service. They even provided a hair dryer when my wife's went bad. My only critique was the renovations that were occurring during our stay. It was an eye sore and resulted in some degradation in services (e.g., swimming pool). The rooms were nice and comfortable. I would stay at New Coast again, but only after renovations are complete. Do I recommend this place? Yes!!

Yelp
This is a nice hotel in the Manila Bay area. The hotel itself is massive! The lobby is very nice, and concierge was helpful. We checked out the lounge cafe near the lobby and had some drinks and snacks. The cappuccino was great! The room we stayed in was very spacious. It took us a minute to figure out how the lights worked but eventually we got it. The hotel room had some features that made it seem old and a little run down. The carpet had some areas that were peeling and stained. The furniture looked a little worn. The bathroom was really nice though! This area of Manila was very congested and felt unsafe. There is constant traffic, the sidewalks are almost non-existent, and there is a lot of noticeable poverty and homelessness. I would not necessarily recommend staying in this area.

Yelp
New coast is very outdated and the food was not memorable and cold. For a hotel that boasts of being 5 stars when in reality should be a 2 star. The service has to be well in order to make up for the lack of quality within the hotel. My husband and I went around looking for an ATM on the 5th floor being the casino. We were immediately approached for having slippers on in which we could not enter. After going back to our room and changing, it was not a surprise to see the casino filled with almost everyone wearing slippers, it is the Philippines, Everyone wears slippers here. For being Filipino American I did not feel welcomed and will never return to this awful experience of a hotel. There is also an empty pool to which they probably cannot afford to upkeep the service and quality of that area as well. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Yelp
A downgrade of stars post-COVID is in order. Much of what I loved about this property pre-COVID was notably absent during this visit. The property re-opened in January, 2022 and it seems to be in the awkward phase of trying to re-establish itself. Time will tell if it is able to do this. For now, there are definite lapses from what it used to be. First, there is a bait and switch issue going on. I booked a "Residence Club" room which is their executive club amenity. I really enjoyed this level of service on previous visits. It used to get you a room on a high-floor (there are 30+ floors of rooms) exclusive for club members, entry to the club for breakfast, a nice work space, evening cocktails with food, and a stunning Manila Bay view at sunset. Upon checking in, I was told that their Residence Club was not being operated post-COVID but I was being given a larger, club equivalent room . My "upgraded" room was on the 12th floor which is not high nor is it exclusive as there were loud party-type occupants coming in at 4 am after nights of drunken debauchery that you generally do not get on executive level floors. It was a larger corner room so it was a plus I guess. Additionally, they upcharged me $700 pesos for breakfast (which used to be included in the club price of the room). Apparently now it is not. Nowhere in the reservation process does it state that the club is not open or that breakfast is going to be an upcharge. I was allowed to reserve a club grade room at a club room price and then had to pay extra for the privilege of breakfast with this club room at check in. Essentially my room upgrade was paid for by my breakfast upcharge in my opinion. The club level room reservation is now a scam for them to charge you more. I tried arguing this with the front desk staff on 2 occasions and they both told me the following: The club level reservations are allowed because this allows you to get a nicer room. But it now no longer includes an operating executive club so it does not include breakfast. When I pointed out that there is nowhere on their site or in the reservation that states this (I even showed them my reservation and confirmation email from them where it is not stated), they gave me a typical customer service response in the negative: "We are sorry sir that our reservation confirmation does not tell you this. Thank you for your feedback on this. We will take this to our management for them to take into consideration in the future." I actually wanted to cancel my reservation right then and there and take my business elsewhere but they were going to then charge me a cancellation fee so they had me by the short hairs. I also noted that the staff were all a little rusty on their service delivery and several were either out of practice or the hotel had to hire a bunch of new people who had never done hospitality work before. Many of them seemed a little slow in their roles or a little unsure of how to respond to guest requests or complaints. The responses to my breakfast upcharge complaint and the notification that they failed to deliver on their executive club product was a good example of this. Definitely not polished or professional like I remembered from 2018 and 2019. I even noted 1 staff member who had a very ill-fitting uniform (like they did not bother to take the time to have her fitted) and seemed particularly unsure of herself in a few interactions which suggested to me that she was probably a new hire being rushed through the new employee process to simply get a body in to the role to work. I totally get this and am very understanding of it but it was just another example to me of a previously great hotel that has taken post-COVID shortcuts in its staffing and operations. Finally, there is evidence that there are cost-cutting measures in play here. Had I not stayed here before, I would not have noted the differences but things such as small areas of the room that need to be repaired (see photos) and items such as the removal of linen napkins from the table (replaced with paper...see photo) as well as entire areas of the breakfast buffet eliminated were things that stood out to me. Because this hotel caters to many Asian visitors, they typically have a selection of food items at breakfast to cater to the different countries and their palates. In this case, I noted that the entire country of Korea and its food offerings were missing in action. Not a deal-breaker but definitely a hit to the breakfast selection. Overall, this visit was a big disappointment for me and they missed their opportunity to make things right with me despite bringing it to them twice. The bait and switch reservations that they are not taking accountability for and the "surprise" breakfast upcharge at check in are unfair and abusive practices to the consumer because you have no way of knowing about them until you are checking in and then you cannot back out. I'm pretty sure I am staying somewhere else next time.

Yelp
New World Manila Bay Hotel is a luxury hotel located in the middle of Manila. The hotel is close to so may shopping areas and there are some great historical attractions to visit. The hotel is large, but not overwhelming and they make you feel right at home. Our room has a marvelous view Manila Bay. Our room was so pretty, all white sheets and comforters that were great. We had good WiFi and a nice table to set our computers.Everything you would expect in a luxury hotel is there. They have a beautiful pool and even a kid's pool which we took full advantage of. All of the area is spotless and the service is great. The Fireplace is located there, and it is a really tasty steak house. The prices are high, but it is a hotel and to be expected. What we really loved was the Cantonese offerings at Li Li. You will love this place. Have a great time.

Yelp
The hospitality at this hotel is incredible. I am here for several days for work and have been impressed this far. I get one suit and shirt pressed (free), shoes shined (free), Buffet breakfast included, and welcome to other fabulous amenities the hotel has to offer. The hotel is located walking distance from the Robertson Mall. The hotel has several restaurants, pools, spa (excellent massages), and a casino. Walking distance from the water view sunset. The staff are very professional and attentive.

Yelp
I selected this hotel based on an add on Expedia, where they stated is was the best rate available. Additionally, the map marker presented by Expedia was not accurate. when I attempted to cancel this reservation due to the distance from my client. Phone calls with Expedia stated that they attempted to contact the hotel numerous times and the hotel refused to refund. Below is the email I received from the General Manager, blaming Expedia for the inability to make a refund: I gave them 2 stars for making an offer of a free stay. Dear Mr Clark, Thank you for taking the time to send your comments thru Tripadvisor.com. We deeply regret that your reservation thru Expedia.com was unable to push through. The rate given to you by Expedia is a promo rate with a non-refundable restriction. Any form of booking change, request or cancellation will have to be channeled directly to Expedia.com. I have taken note on the rate difference percentage you have mentioned between Expedia.com and our hotel website. We do encourage our guests to firstly visit our webpage as we also offer several discount packages which will best suit each guest preference. Again, we do apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer you a complimentary two nights stay in our hotel on your next visit here in Manila. I hope that in some way we can be able to let you experience our true hospitality and excellent service. If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact myself directly. Sincerely, Mark J. Heywood General Manager
