On our tour we stayed at four different hotels and this one was my favorite. The buffet for breakfast and dinner is amazing and has a variety of dishes to choose from. We didn't get a chance to check out the onsen here but heard good things from the other members on our tour.||The room was spacious for the two of us and was clean. The only downside of the room is that the sink is separate from the toilet and the tub/shower and is actually in an open space of the room. If you're traveling with others and trying to get ready in the morning without waking them up it's hard with the sink being in the room area. But even with that, it was still the best hotel we stayed at.

The hotel was large, with a sizable outdoor carpark. Its location was some distance from the downtown. On the other hand, the environment was quiet and relaxing. Some individual huts were built opposite to the hotel, mainly selling art crafts. There was a cheese workshop and a horse riding center nearby. During winter time, guests could enjoy skiing on the slope behind the building. The banquet hall provided a tasty buffet breakfast. Freshly made omelette was recommended. The space of the room was moderate. Hot spring was available, but visitors had to walk quite a long way from their rooms. If using lifts, change 4 times totally. Setting was simple but very neat. Staff service was very good.

This hotel is quite of many years but surprisingly very clean, neat & tidy. Very well maintain. I chose a moutain view and it was stunning unblock sunrise view at 5am +-. The whole mountain stretch are the famous mountains which of central of the whole Hokkaido. People are very nice but English language not as expected. About only half of their people speak well. As it's end season hence we only left with 1 slope for ski. We only able to dine in Shin Prince Hotel while staying. Quite pricy within the hotel. But food are super fresh & tasty. They maintain small serving to uphold the freshness. I love the mini ramen during the buffet dinner very much. The spread might seem minimal, but very fulfilling. The Ningle Terrace is such an iconic, romantic & amazing place especially for photos & video. Never did I realise that one of my friend's wedding photos were taken over there. Very memorable.

A Perfect Winter Retreat – Highly Recommended! Our stay at this hotel in a breathtaking snowy destination was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, making us feel instantly welcome. The hotel itself was spotless, with a cozy yet elegant ambiance that perfectly complemented the winter landscape outside. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always greeting us with a smile and ready to assist with any request. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly set this hotel apart. The convenience of the airport shuttle service was another major plus. It was punctual, well-maintained, and made our arrival and departure seamless. Traveling can sometimes be stressful, especially in winter conditions, but this service made it effortless. For families, this hotel is an absolute gem. Our kids had an incredible time, from enjoying the cozy common areas to indulging in the delicious food. The dining experience was excellent, offering a variety of well-prepared dishes that catered to both adults and children. Every meal felt like a treat, with fresh ingredients and great flavors.Beyond the hotel itself, the snowy surroundings added to the magic of our trip. Whether it was waking up to beautiful snow-covered views or simply enjoying the warm and inviting atmosphere indoors, it was a truly memorable experience.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Everything—from the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the friendly service and convenient amenities—was outstanding. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway in a winter wonderland, and we can’t wait to return!

[Oct 17, 2023] An old business hotel. And yet it was quite expensive. Twin room: 24,475 yen, Single room: 16,325 yen. (3 people stay) Dinner at the hotel costs from 6,000 yen/person. Prince Hotels has many good places, but it was not applicable here. Breakfast was taken at the hotel buffet. The highlight was a bowl of rice topped with salmon roe. But it was not an all-you-can-eat dish like at the Hakodate hotels. At the same time, milk was delicious! I think you can drink it and drink it and not feel heavy in the stomach. I could drink it every day, even every morning.

It is called the ‘new’ prince hotel, but it is certainly not a new hotel. The rooms are dated and this is very much a ‘bus them in’ kind of hotel with many guests and day trippers. It is easy to understand why, the prices are fair for what is offered, and it is a great location in Furano. The locker area is packed tightly and busy at peak times, but with small modifications to timings, it works home. Breakfast is average, but fills you up for a days skiing. |I would recommend this as a functional ski-in, ski-out hotel.

We had arrived late at night after driving from chitose airport and checking in was smooth and fast. Hotel is very central with many in house activities as well. great for young kids and families. Rooms were comfortable and good.

The rooms are dated, but they are spacious, and you can open the windows. I came across a gentleman working behind the restaurant (dinnerbuffet) who was not very friendly. On a positive note, the receptionist who checked us in was very friendly. I would also like to mention Fujino-san, who assisted with the lost and found item and sent it to our hotel in Sapporo. I found the staff at the ski rental equipment area to be friendlier and more helpful compared to those at other ski resorts. Due to its location, powder snow, and competitive prices, I will definitely go back there again

Yelp
Lavender Ice Cream is awesome!!! No visit to the Furano area would be complete without a visit here.

Yelp
We stayed at New Furano Prince hotel last week for one night while visiting Furano. The staff was extremely friendly and the lovely girl at front desk spoke English very well! I wish I remembered her name. The hotel itself is extremely large and is really a resort. We had a nice large room (by Japan standard) with a view of downtown Furano. Our room had two twin beds and a couch that could serve as a third bed. The location was ideal as it was a quick 10 minute drive to downtown. The hotel has many amenities like the onsen, Ningle Terrace, park golf and a garden just to name a few. The onsen was great and was never crowded. Two sets of onsen attire were provided in our rooms for our use. There is an indoor bath, outdoor bath, sauna and cold pool. Instructions were clear and in English if you are not familiar with onsen behavior. Please be aware that many onsen do not allow you to enter if you have tattoos. The onsen was well kept and very relaxing after a long day of walking. We enjoyed walking around Ningle Terrace, an area filled with cute shops in little cabins and a coffee house. The outdoor atmosphere was so relaxing and you could hear the birds chirping and water trickling down the stream. We also enjoyed an early morning walk and saw a couple going up in a hot air balloon! How fun! It looks like New Furano Prince has many activities for their guests to enjoy. We also booked an in room massage! The front desk girl helped us set up an appointment. How wonderful to get a massage in the comfort of your own room. No frills, just a good massage for a great price. We did not eat at the hotel breakfast buffet, but did grab some pastries at the bakery before we hit the road. Get the Furano Melon pan! Oh so good! Check out was a breeze and we have no complaints about service. The only thing I could ask is they update the rooms a bit. The rooms were very clean but could definitely use some updating. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay!
