My first time in Oxford coming from California and this place had the most amazing coffee and BEST barista, Nick! The pastries were yummy and freshly made. The expressos and hand brewed coffees were soooo good!! Nick was the kindest and best barista! My friends and I came back the next day and he remembered :)

My partner and I work in coffee and often find it hard to find decent coffee when we are away from home. We check out coffee shops before researching any other part of our trip. The coffee at New Ground was very well made by a welcoming and talented barista. We will definitely return when we are back in Headington.

Speciality coffee shop tucked away off the main road. The coffee itself was really good and presented well. The staff were nice and welcoming and gave us some recommendations. They have a lot of retail available too if you want to buy some beans, their guest coffee just now is from Friedhats based in Amsterdam, so I picked up some of their Columbian to try at home. If you're in the area and want guaranteed good coffee, this is the spot.

Ordered a Too Good To Go bag. All the pastries were delicious and plentiful. I was asked if I had any dietary restrictions, which was very sweet considering that TGTG bags typically don't allow customization.

Amazing coffee experience! Friendly service, truly delicious coffee perfectly prepared and also very cool to see the roasting process up close. For how good the coffee was I will be making regular visits as it costs no more than chain coffee shops in headington and the shop is part of a genuine social enterprise. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful coffee shop with simple three menu (espresso, milk, filter) and very clean atmosphere. It was lovely that we were able to choose the coffee beans for the filter and the staff was able to advice us on coffee based on our preference. The egg tart was really great and wished it was warmed as well. The two coffee we got were from Columbia and Ethiopia but having a card describing which coffee it actually was could have enhanced the experience even more. The ambience was very cool and quiet so we tried to speak quietly haha but having some more seats could potentially enhance the atmosphere further. We ordered some coffee beans in the end which the price was not listed so having the price and also having some perks of if you buy coffee beans you get free drink or next drink free could be a nice way to have a perks. Would love to come back again and try some other coffees as well, it will be great to have some seats outside for summertime as well.

Decent coffee shop, probably the best in Headington. They have a roaster on display, there's plenty of seating inside, service is brisk, and polite. I personally find the coffee at the Oxford town centre branch to be superior but that doesn't mean this branch isn't good which it is. The chocolate chip cookie was excellent. Recommended.

Built on a fake show... these guys make out they are doing good in society for money to run a buisness thats ment to be helping prisionors rehabilitate! They dont do such thing but get cheap labour and then make out they are doing good! For that reason i will not support a fake company misleading others to hand over money :) P.s the fisrt email on the loring roaster email was to ceo Dickon. Heyy, im loring and im about to make you lots of money... such ashame he didnt care more then only making money, these fake buisnesses need to be stopped!
