Fantastic location—buses, trams, and trains are right outside the door, making it incredibly easy to get to all the major sights. The room was very clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The AC worked fine, and the overall experience was comfortable and pleasant. Just a note: there is NO POOL, despite a misleading photo on Google Reviews. Still, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.

Loved our stay here and would/will absolutely stay again! Cute, spacious rooms with great service and great location central to Vieux Port - right next to the metro. Has air conditioning and en suite bathrooms with full shower, and you can have breakfast pastries delivered to your door if you wish in the morning.

Very satisfying stay! A true gem that one won't be disappointed. - Clean, modern design and very spacious rooms, it is worth it to go for one with the harbour view and/or terrace (despite all being at an angle due to the building's position, still very beautiful view) - Made best use of the original design of the building - Reasonably priced (by European standard) and most convenient location if visiting the Old Port area - All the staff are superb, especially the night desk gentleman, who helped us with the luggage and opened the side door, always willing to help out with a genuine smile - On our next trip to Marseille, we plan to return and stay there again - Wish there are more charming hotels like that in the world

Excellent, well-located hotel moments from the old port. I received a warm welcome from the friendly, helpful receptionist and was given a fabulous room. She said because I was trying to speak French! The in-room breakfast was a real treat, as were the L’Occitane toiletries. The stunning tall balconies with great views made the stay extra special.

An excellent choice if staying in the vieux port. Super central location but one street off of the main road so a little quieter. Room was spotless, recently renovated bathroom, room had a mini fridge, everything in the hotel was modern and staff was friendly. We were able to check into our room a bit early as well. Highly recommend!

Nice room with comfortable beds. The location of the hotel is great with lots of restaurants and shops close by, and all the tourist attractions, including the hop on hop off bus within walking distance. The breakfast is worth paying for - it’s the same food every day, but the selection is good and the food is excellent.

Starting with the positives….the hotel is amazingly located right in the centre of the port. It’s also right next to the tube, which takes you direct to the main train station. We had room 604, probably the best in the building with an oversized balcony that offered superb views of the bustle around the port. We sat up there for hours - amazing.|The negatives then, receptionist when we first arrived was rude and uninterested - we watched him deal with an elderly couple who popped in to enquire about a room, one of whom had a disability scooter. It seemed all too difficult for him so they left.|We asked the reception if we could have some padding for the metal outside chairs on the balcony as they were not the most comfortable and it was very hot so they weren’t the best to sit on. There was nothing available we were told and were advised not to use them if it was too hot. - really, we were on holiday and this is a 4* hotel.|The hotel offers a buffet style continental breakfast, which is served from cupboards next to the reception and with seating in the same area. We paid upfront for 3 x morning breakfasts but were immediately sceptical when we saw where it was coming from.|The next morning we came down…couldn’t get a small table as they had not cleared up from other guests….They had run out of croissants (it’s France !!)….Fruit was going mouldy…and we took a quick look under the coffee machine and Yeuch !! It was filthy.|Only right when making claims like this to evidence them properly so all pictures attached.|We advised the hotel that we wouldn’t be eating breakfasts there as the food prep and general cleanliness was poor.|Strongly suggest you don’t have breakfast here, it’s overpriced and poor….Marseille is littered with breakfast / coffee shops. There is one only a few doors away from the hotel, which sold a superb variety of croissants and other pastries at a fraction of the price.|Would we stay here again….unsure despite its amazing location in a fantastic diverse port, with so much to see and do.

This was probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in for the extortionate price. The food is disgusting for breakfast and to leave meats out like that in a hot reception room is actually dangerous. The fruit is all canned and the sausages and eggs are absolutely vile/dangerous (see photo). It’s all just done so offensively cheap and it feels like you’ve been taken advantage of. We also requested a cot very clearly in the booking - it was not only not provided, but there was just a wooden board for it and no mattress. Staff are quite rude except for one man. The rooms are nice, but lack little things like soap, or shampoo in the shower. The pillows are SO uncomfortable - worth bringing your own
