New Hotel Of Marseille

Had a wonderful experience. Very friendly staff willing to assist. 5 minute walk to the beach. 10 min walk to the harbor and amazing history and architecture all around. A must visit if you ever get the opportunity. Only low point would be the bath/shower combination. If not for that would have given the rooms 5 star.

Looks better than it is. On a plus very clean! Lovely large room, comfy mattress. Down side: Awful pillows, small European size filled with what felt like foam chips. Mean with milk and tea in your room. Only 2 tiny UHT milk containers, no black tea. No English speaking chanel on the tv or streaming services. Did ask as it says they do have and was told ‘it’s not actually the case’ true! |Nice enough restaurant for dinner, although for breakfast the croissants and breads were stale and coffee awful. Go down the road if you have time. |Pool looks great, however only useable in the heat of summer as it is all day in the shade. |When checking in was told breakfast was included - I did say I hadn’t included the breakfast when booking but was told it was included, when checking out I was told this wasn’t the case and when I said that’s what we were told he said there are new staff and they made a mistake and that it was my problem. Absolutely true! The behaviour of the receptionist absolutely ruined our stay. My problem! As if I am responsible for their staff! Absolutely never had this at any hotel ever - certainly not one purporting to be 4 star. Awful sexist mansplainer - maybe someone could teach him politeness?|On the whole a very clean good solid 3 star hotel. Beach is in walking distance. |

Everybody was so helpful, super easy to check in. Room was a great size, and very comfortable. The pool was great! Location excellent for bit of beach and hanging out in the harbour. We were just there for a night and it was a perfect hotel for a stopover. Thank you!

Bath was to high nothing to grab to get in or out ,The staff was awesome and gave us a little steps. Breakfast was awesome. But the Best part of all was the STAFF 5+ STARS!

Visited in May 2023. What I really like in the hotel is the tiny details which make the room comfortable : pegs in the bathroom, a place for towels high enough to not get them wet when you take a shower. My room was big enough to feel cosy, everything is new and really clean. The only disadvantage I faced was the fact that my windows turned to the road, so it was a bit noisy sleeping with the window open... On another hand, my bed was covered with an amazing warm plaid, not with a typical synthetic cloth just for decoration as in most other hotels. I used it when I got cold at night and it made me comfortable.

This is not 4 star hotel ay all. I got scammed. I paid a fortune £300 for 2 nights. They didn’t clean room and gave excuses of sign dropped. pool is 160 meter so do not go with kids. Do not recommend to stay. Check out pictures. 3rd night i paid £130 to Residhome Marseille and it was almost 5 star with all the facilities.

Great location, the staff are also brilliant very helpful with any questions you had! However, the hotel felt like a boutique hotel while the rooms were more like a business hotel, just a little bit of change of decor could have made it that little bit special!

Good hotel in a good location. A bit far away from the city center but this depends what your preferences are. The building is an old, former Institute Pasteur building which was nicely modernized and extendet. Breakfast ist good, staff friendly. One star is taken for the rooms, where I found a lot of dust on the television, which should not be the case for that price.
