I stayed here for 5 days in a single room only meant for one person and it was great.||The building is located right next to the Jaffa Gate which I believe is the only gate where taxis can drop you off at. It is a about:||- 8-12 minute walk to Masjid Al Aqsa|- 7-10 minute walk to the Western Wall|- 7-10 minute walk to the Holy Church of Sepulchre||The hotel entrance is down alley that's under the hotel. Not on a street. Just look for an opening that has 3 bars in the ground. Or just ask a shopkeeper, they are nice and will know.||The accommodations are nice, but rustic. It's an older building in the old city, so just set your expectations lower than say a hotel in Europe or the States.||However the hotel staff charm and knowledge is unbeatable. They are so nice and have resources (taxis, local guides, where to eat, etc) all ready for you if need be. And it feels personal, as if they used all these services themselves.||The rooftop is nice and perhaps nicer when it's not summer with the sun blazing out. I would suggest if they could get like a cover so people could sit, that would be great.||They only offered breakfast when I was there and it was very nice. Very Mediterranean, but they had some dishes like asian fried rice, pasta, etc that were also not so traditional. In my opinion, very good for the area as it was light, fresh, and good for the weather.||It is a busy area so expect the classics of living in a city, but nothing unbearable in my honest assessment.||Remember you are going to be out most of the day seeing sites, eating, and enjoying the city that all you will really want is a nice cozy room for you to rest and reenergize in the morning.||Pro tip for all travelers: Bring a water bottle and fill at the station before you leave. It will save you some cash and keep you from being dehydrated while venturing the old city.
