New Kennedy Square

This mall is getting lot busier than before as chinese restaurants are attracting lot of chinese seniors with cheap but yummy traditional food. In the past, the mall had children playing ground and not lot good eating place. It feels more attractive with many travel agencies and newly opened grocery store.

I went there for this Chinese style bakery, great price! Good quality! Taste good. You’ll find a diverse range of pastries and breads freshly made every morning. Definitely will be return to get more.

A plaza and mall... I guess. The outside is very plaza like. The inside is very "mall" like. The parking lot is large, but even on a weekday (I was there on a Monday), it was full and busy as heck! They have lots of restaurants in the plaza and other stores as well. Like a ramen restaurant, a dim sum restaurant, a pho restaurant, and a Vietnamese restaurant. Inside the plaza mall, there's a grocery store, a flower shop, a Chinese bakery, 6 Chinese herbal stores, a food court, claw machines, gacha machines, travel agencies (?), hair salon, and many other stores are within the plaza mall. The pathways are very wide and spacious. The plaza mall is surprisingly more busier than expected, especially the food court and the grocery store. Overall, there's a lot of solid food choice options here. The plaza mall has a lot of variety when it comes down to different options of stores and such. The downside is the lack of parking space in the large parking lot. That's it.

I didn’t come to this square until last year. Somehow I felt sad looking at the whole place, especially the pathway to the supermarket. Everything is super outdated which reminded me of Canada 20 years ago. But heck , swipe all sentimental talks, I take it back 😋 because it’s unimaginably busy here. New Kennedy Square is like an entity that never sleeps. It’s so hard to find a place to park all time of day, all days of the week. The stuff in supermarket isn’t any different compared to other supermarket but it’s equally priced or even more expensive, considering how old it is. A fantastic place for restaurant food but not for shopping.

This place gets busy especially on weekends or during meal times because there are a lot of restaurant options. There's a grocery store inside the main building along with some bakeries, candy shop and a food court. I've also seen a travel agency there. But outside of the main building there are so many things like a KTV, hair salon, medical practitioners many different types of Asian cuisine options and bubble tea places.

Busy chinese shopping plaza, mostly because they have lots of variety of restaurants here. They range from HK cafes, bakeries, dim sum restaurant, noodles, to some Japanese restaurants too. Inside the mall there are also dried seafood stores, food court, salons, travel agencies, and a supermarket. Worth trying out the food here, but parking is difficult to find during lunch and dinner on weekends.

I miss the Jumbo video store. But grateful for the variety of Asian restaurants. Parking is okay. The plaza has a small grocery store, food court, and many little shops. Be sure to treat yourself to something from the bakeries. Dim Sum options available too.

This mall is very “old school”. Reminds me of Pacific Malls rundown version of its Marketplace before it got torn down. The kiosks food stalls aren’t the greatest. Shops are all shady. Not a good place to stroll around. Decent variety of HK shops. Definitely needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

An a-ok Chinese mall that's about 20 years old. It's probably about midrange in popularity of the Toronto Chinese malls we have seen to date. In other words, there are enough offerings and values here that it's not a dead mall, but it's also not a mall with the latest and greatest where the younger generation would be attracted to it. We bought some dry goods and bakery items here, and also got in some fitness steps.

'This place has nice flavour and reminds me of traditional East Asian flavours, however the portion of meat to carbs and veggies need to be put back for. While most Asians like rice, I asked for more meat and less rice/veggies, but got a heaping stack of added rice instead. Good taste, but portions could be reworked.

I wish I had had lived in the area starting decades ago. I'd slowly walk it 1 wintry day.

Been here since I was a youngin'. I've seen stores come and go over the years but the quality remains just about the same -- passable but nostalgic.
