This is without a doubt one of the nicest hotels we have ever visited. I'm a wheelchair user and most accessible rooms and just ok, normally doors are narrow and no turning space for chair. This room was huge with an amazing wet floor shower with a seat in the shower.||The hotel was so clean, smelled so fresh and welcoming. The food from evening meal to breakfast was amazing, hot and tasty. Fast service and really decent prices. ||I had a spa treatment when I was there and again able to access spa in wheelchair, they also had hoist for the pool. Was a great massage and facial and a good price for a hotel spa. ||The most amazing thing about this hotel though is the staff, everyone of them was so polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They are a credit to the management team.|We spoke to several guests during our stay and everyone commented on how lovely the hotel was and in particular the staff.

arrived for a weeks stay and I genuinely couldn't be happier. Every single member of staff was so helpful and made us feel so welcomed. The first night we had food within the restaurant and I was blown away with how tasty the food was The fish and chips was so tasty and the pudding was just as tasty

Amazing hotel!!! We recently travelled from London and stayed here for a one night spa break. On the first day, our friend fell ill and had to be taken to hospital. I cannot praise the staff for being so kind, supportive and helpful to us during this time. I have never been to any establishment where the staff cared so much. We naturally had to re-jig some of our plans and the staff were incredibly accommodating with our requests. Everybody who works there deserves a massive raise. Aside from the staff, the rooms were pristine, beds comfy, lovely view from the room with the sound of the flowing river. Food was absolutely delicious. The spa was pristine and as an avid gym goer I could not believe the amount of gym equipment they had!

Accidentally stayed here as part of an AA relay trip. Super friendly and helpful staff. The buildings are breathtaking and part of a World Heritage Site and in the rooms they’ve left enough of the original industrial detail to make it special. USB charging ports at the bedside and free WiFi in every room. Breakfast was brilliant and the restaurant is great. Honestly can’t fault it.

Beautiful location, rooms are lovely and spacious. Nice spa facilities. Gorgeous walks. Breakfast fair but the service was very friendly. Perfect for a short stay, walks to the falls a highlight. Layout of access to bedrooms could be better as have to walk through the bar. All in all great value for a stunning setting.

We arrived for a two night stay and I genuinely couldn't be happier. Every single member of staff was so helpful and made me feel so welcomed. The first night we had food within the restaurant and I was blown away with how tasty the food was , our waitress was fantastic and went above and beyond the entire evening. Reception and the bar staff went above and beyond for us. The lady in the gift shop was absolutely lovely and was so easy to chat with and ask questions about the products within the shop. I really enjoyed the facilities and the experience of the mills . Fantastic location I will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff for making it a memorable experience.

The buildings of New Lanark are full of architectural history.. the hotel has been refurbished since my last visit and very impressive. We stayed in Waterhouse 3. Extremely large living area. Kitchen Hallway and has a large porch entrance for boots coats etc Bedrooms are large, they are being updated. Beautiful to sleep next to the river which is just outside. Fantastic location to visit Edinburgh/ Glasgow and still in the countryside.

Yelp
We had our wedding here last year, and I must say that after a few hiccups they really pulled the stops out and were excellent. New Lanark is a village designed by Robert Owen, an industrial revolutionary who wanted to give his workers a safe place to live and work and to halt the exploitation of children. He ran mills which have now been converted into an interactive museum, a visitor centre and a hotel. We booked the hotel for our wedding reception (we had the meal in the function room in the hotel then moved over to the Institute in the Vistor Centre for the ceilidh as there was more room). Had a few worries because there is a noise limiter in the hotel function room and there was the possibilty that one may be installed in the Institute room and our band wouldnt play if there was one , but that didnt come to anything. They also cocked up some of the room bookings for our guests who were staying, but all of the staff were extremely apologetic and gave us room upgrades and smoothed everything out. On they day though, they were excellent. I can totally recommend Lee, who made the day run like clockwork and also Helen at the Institute for being so accommodating and for putting on a fab spread for our evening guests! The food was very good, much better than I expected from a hotel wedding with 120 odd guests having a sit down meal (it should have been good given the price, but I often think that wedding food in that kind of venue can be mediocre at best!) The wedding packages as always were quite expenisve so we just paid per head for the meal. We transported some of our flowers from the church windows to use as centrepieces for the tables, we had our own piper, we didnt bother with different coloured linen, we brought our own wine and paid corkage (bought from the Wine Society), so we managed to save a bit on the package which had stuff in it we didnt need or want. I must say though that they were really flexible with substituing and negociating the packages, so if you had your own piper you could swap to include canapes or something of similar "value". We just had too many things ourselved to warrent the package and to warrent the substitutions. Wonderful day - ran like clockwork (though I did end up being a little late!) but thoroughly recommend NLM

Yelp
Great hotel in beautiful surroundings. The rooms are an average size, most if not all with views over the falls. As for the food, nothing short of fantastic, also very reasonably priced. very friendly helpful staff

Yelp
We stayed in the New Lanark Hotel over the Christmas period. The rooms are of a nice quality. The best thing was the views of the Falls of Clyde from the window. The Hotel is a converted mill so the window sills are really thick and wide enough to sit on with a drink and look down on the thundering water. The area is a heritage site and has a magical quality. You feel as though you are in a little time capsule as nothing has changed since the days of the industrial revolution. I would recommed trying the restaurant - top quality.

Yelp
This is located down by the river you can go into the hotel for a drink even if your are not a resident. The hotel is clean and the views from the room of the water was lovely. It also hosts a wedding fayre and is popular with those who enjoy a nice meal here. It is nicely located in that you can go for a short walk and go into shop beside it and museums.
