New Monsoon Restaurant

The food is really good and we enjoyed it here. The taste was really the best. Great ambiance and the open place is so good. This restaurant is located near the beach and very easy access to the beach. Do try this place for some great Indian food. Paneer tikka was really outstanding. Overall a good experience.

I tried vegetarian Chiese and Indian cuisine. Had Veg fried rice, veg Manchurian gravy, Kadai paneer and tandoori roti. Taste was great. Their service was fast and great, staff was also helpful. Location is sea facing. Overall it was great experience. 👍

This was my first visit to Monsoon in 13 years, and was I as impressed and hugely satisfied as I was all those years before! Stepping in to this beautiful venue, one is lulled back into what could be described as "the heart and essence of Zanzibar and its People". The live music was just perfect! Service is excellent! The menu offered a great selection of items, catering for all preferences. Our selection of mains, a variety of sea foods, was perfectly prepared and I am at a loss of words to describe just how intensely delicious and fresh the meals were! Thank you for creating a perfect memory of an evening well spent! We have already recommended Monsoon to many!

Hands down, the best bryani i have had in a while. Authentic food and cheap prices. The local cats also provide some good entertainment. Def recommended!

I walked in for my first meal in Zanzibar, following a recommendation from a friend. I did not get to experience taraab music because I came too early but the food was very entertaining, offering a great variety of flavours on one plate. It was, however, pricier and did not provide a wow factor as in other locations.

Excellent. Great ambience and tasty food. Around 15$ for a 3 course lunch with a glass of Wine or $15 a dish as per photo.

A nice cozy place. Good selection of music and a good location. The food was alright. And the staff are super welcoming.

The best experience. Shirley Temple was my first choice mocktail. The chicken, egg and veggie rice was my staple food. New Monsoon with Free WiFi it became home. Shout out to Thwalibu our favourite Waiter.
