Great music venue, seats laid out to maximise opportunities for relaxed viewing although make sure you get to the venue in good time to make sure you get a seat. Even standing is ok, as you'll have a decent view. Drinks are ok prices, overall a very good venue with a nice crowd that I've enjoyed watching Branford Marsalis and Kandace Springs.

Legendary Jazz Club in great neighborhood. I could see the majestic Moses Yofee Trio from Germany and the evening was awesome. The only downside is that straight after the concert the bar closed down, music went off and light on. So you did wake up a little brutal. But hej, there is other bars all around who gladly take my money!

Tickets had a 19:30 showtime, so we arrived at 18:50, expecting to get settled and enjoy a pre-show drink. Instead we were left lined up on the sidewalk in the cold waiting for the door to open, which it finally did at 19:35. We were near the front of the line, so at least we were hoping to get a good table / seat. Well, we were shocked to discover there are NO CHAIRS, NO SEATS, OR EVEN TABLES to put your drink on !!! We went to the bar where the staff seemed annoyed that we wanted anything. Got our drinks in plastic glasses, and stood for a bit, then thought well, we can sit on the steps around the stage floor. Well, that doesn't work either, as security and other guests tell you to get up. When I was finished with my drink I discovered there were no trash cans anywhere, so I had to just drop my cup on the floor. The band showed up at 20:30, with guitars still in their cases. They rushed to try to plug in, set up, tune, and do mic checks. It looked so amateur, like an open mic night. There were no explanations for the late arrival, or even an introduction. When they eventually started to play, they just kept asking for more volume, which they did NOT need. After 2 songs we walked out, and needless to say, will never return. Perhaps this could be a fun college venue, but it is definitely not a "jazz club" in my opinion.

Great bar, great vibes and great company! Enjoyed every second from the moment we entered to the second we left!

Visited here last week; Judith Hill - wow what a performance. I was visiting with my teenage daughter and did not feel uncomfortable at all. The only downside was the heat - some of the fans were not operating and there was no sign of the AC in operation. Be away it’s a standing venue - not a problem, just be aware of it. The staff were excellent.

New Morning is a time-honored venue for concerts with a great atmosphere! I highly recommend it! I'm going back this year. I'm already looking forward to experiencing great music in the heart of Paris again!

Lovely concert. Luckily everyone was sat down in the atrium. We found a seat on the top stairs by the column. Few seated tables already taken. Best to arrive early

This is great venue for live music. I went there twice and was not disappointed. Music and ambience was great. The bar inside was functional and had reasonable selection of drinks. Small venue made the music more enjoyable. They have something live going on almost every night. Located in the middle of the busy neighborhood makes it easy to bring your food and eat here.

As awesome place to listen to music and have a quick drink. Love the live and incredible atmosphere for new music with a live band.

Nice sound system and great music. Bar nice. One complaint is no assigned seating. Even though we prepaid for tickets, had to arrive 1 hour in advance to get seat. Many people were standing. The seats were comfortable. Neighborhood very lively with lots of cafes and bars around.

Horrid bar staff. Basically was refused a glass of water - even though I was about to faint and had dropped over 20 bucks at the bar as well as paid the entry. A very rude, fat woman wearing denim hot pants (why?) was responsible for this bad experience. And then her father, a tiny frail man, - who looked like an ex priest flung a bottle of water at me as a 'gift' when I complained about his daughter's lack of service expertise. What a joke. The band were good though, and that's why this city is a sea of catch 22s - the venues are horror holes with horror service, but if you want to support the poor musicians - you gotta gulp it down - just avoid the bar in this place if possible - a real shower of nasty goblins.

Saw Charles X here last night. The place was a great venue for a concert and the gin and tonic was on point!

Good layout for high energy jazz music.
