Surprisingly entertaining! Probably the most fun I've ever had in a modern art museum. Very interactive and you can tell the curation team has the public in mind, the exhibits are unpretentious. We saw "The Grand Hotel Paar" temporary exhibit and it was a blast. I only wish the art pieces in the permanent collections had more explanations in English instead of just QR codes. We kept thinking about the chair room and the multiple pieces by "Fancy Feast" afterwards. It was also interesting to learn more about Gerhard Richter. The building itself is soulful and beautiful.

The building that houses the museum is interesting and has a lot of concrete used with the construction. The modern art did not impress me much. Conceptual art. 70's, 80's. etc. when art became a commodity in the hands of investors. The artists learned to do outrageous things, empty buckets of paint on white canvasses. And then the money started flowing Oh well.... Wondering through the galleries sometimes you see something of interest

Marketed as Art and Design museum. Bought ticket to see the latter. They have a hospital gown, font design of a bicycle manufacturer and street light integrated with windmill. In addition 15 chairs you are allowed to sit on. Nice to actually test chair designs but shouldn't a museum provide information on the designs ? Building is interesting but mostly closed to public. Apparently management is more interested in modern art than design.

The exhibition items were very interesting but for such a huge building there was not that much to see. Also if you are a non German speaking person it may be quite exhausting to translate all the descriptions or constantly look on the tour guide page trying to find the pieces you are looking at. I think there should be English translation provided for each piece otherwise you are spending the whole time on your phone and not enjoying the museum. Big minus for me.

Should be visited! Small pieces of art in a big building.

Not sure about this place, the architecture definitely is interesting in mixing the old with the new and reflecting the city walls in its all glass outside but the interior is rather empty and what is there put on display is ... not that much and not that interesting. I admit I am hardly a fan of modern art but even so I expected a bit more "meat" let's say

World-class museum in a building with modern architecture. Well-curated and perfect for a 2-hour visit.

An interesting place to dive into different renawable materials and design products. Great new solutions. The only minus is there is no English language translation of the arts information next to the German (which became a regular practice in other museums in non-english speaking countries). Although the google translation camera can be handy in this case, it's not always comfortable and somehow affects the whole experience.
