Warning: Fraudulent Hotel – Avoid at All Costs
Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life. I had a fully prepaid reservation through an agency, but upon arrival, the staff claimed it was “cancelled” and demanded an additional $250 to check in. This scam was happening to every single guest that day — conveniently during a major event (JLo’s concert), likely so they could double-charge tourists.
We waited two hours with my young daughter, missed our plans, and were treated with complete disrespect. Staff mocked our passports, lied about reservation numbers, and were openly rude. This wasn’t a misunderstanding — it was organized fraud. Other travelers confirmed similar experiences across the city, but this hotel was by far the worst.
As a well-traveled US citizen, I’ve never encountered this level of dishonesty or customer abuse. This place should be blacklisted. Do not book here. Ever.
