Nairi Hotel Yerevan

Our room was dirty with uncomfortable bed. It is just unbearable place to stay in. And it is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. The personnel though was very nice and tried to help, offered us another room but we declined. If you value clean and warm place to stay, avoid this hotel.

The hotel is closer to a one-star hotel rather than a four-star one. The rooms are very old. The breakfast is extremely poor. The bed was broken, so we couldn’t sleep well. The staff, including the receptionists, barely speak English. The location is not good. You always need to take a taxi (Yandex) to get to the city center. Each trip to Republic Square or nearby areas costs around 1,000 drams. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

The hotel’s bed springs were sticking out even though we booked the most expensive room, and the bathroom was extremely dirty without even a pair of slippers. They didn’t provide a toothbrush or toothpaste, and the front door lock was broken. We changed rooms three times, but they were all the same. I think the standard rooms must be even worse. Do not choose this hotel under any circumstances. I wanted to cancel, but they didn’t even refund my money and said, “We won’t give you any money back.”I wouldn’t even give it one star if I could.

Warning: Fraudulent Hotel – Avoid at All Costs Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life. I had a fully prepaid reservation through an agency, but upon arrival, the staff claimed it was “cancelled” and demanded an additional $250 to check in. This scam was happening to every single guest that day — conveniently during a major event (JLo’s concert), likely so they could double-charge tourists. We waited two hours with my young daughter, missed our plans, and were treated with complete disrespect. Staff mocked our passports, lied about reservation numbers, and were openly rude. This wasn’t a misunderstanding — it was organized fraud. Other travelers confirmed similar experiences across the city, but this hotel was by far the worst. As a well-traveled US citizen, I’ve never encountered this level of dishonesty or customer abuse. This place should be blacklisted. Do not book here. Ever.

We weren't satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Our issues included ||1) Multiple cockroaches in our room |2) The bathroom wasn't properly cleaned and the hair of the previous occupant was all around the floor|3) one towel for two guests |4) no shampoo |5) very bad breakfast, all foods low quality |6) the staff were unfriendly and could barely speak English

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. The reservation was made in advance and fully confirmed, but literally on the day of our arrival they suddenly canceled it! No clear explanation or alternative accommodation was offered. This put us in a very difficult situation since all our plans were already arranged. Such treatment of guests is absolutely unacceptable. I would advise everyone to be very cautious when choosing this hotel to avoid a similar experience.

We stayed here with our family as we were stuck in the country due to flight cancellations. The hotel is fairly priced with decent services. It wouldn't have been our first choice, however, Hasmik - one of the managers made our stay pleasant. With her hospitality and kindness, we were comfortable during out stay. She went out of her way to help us and provided any support possible.

Very far from the city center, rude and unethical staff, extremely cold rooms with no heating at night, extremely poor service, terrible breakfast Not a good hotel at all. I do not recommend Not worth the money you pay at all.
