Alex on reception from start to finish was amazing. Smooth check in and out, good recommendations for the area and friendly chats. Area is nice to walk around in, good transport links and restaurants nearby. Rooms are clean, comfy and balcony was lovely to have. Beds were comfortable and great water pressure for the showers. There is a supermarket across the road which comes in handy

From the moment Stéphane greeted us by name on arrival, until Faiçal put us in our taxi on departure, the staff at New Orient Hotel were welcoming and helpful. This is a charming, typically French hotel with a beautiful breakfast room, a curving staircase, and exceptionally clean rooms. My grandson had culture shock at how small the room was, to which I responded, “You are in Paris, mon cher, this is not the Marriott hotel!” Soon he came to love it, too, appreciating the yummy baguettes, croissants, and yogurt served to us at breakfast, the excellent air conditioning during an exceptionally hot June, and the convenience of several metro stations and restaurants. I would stay here again because of the charm of the premise and the helpfulness of the staff.|If you have mobility issues, this may not be the hotel for you as there is a narrow, winding staircase to climb to reach the tiny elevator, should you choose to use it. Also, the tubs are in the French style, requiring a big step to get in and out. |But, if you are looking for a lovely, small French hotel in this part of town, do try the New Orient Hotel.

We had such a lovely experience at the New Orient Hotel in Paris. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The room was very clean. It was a great location close to everything but not loud at night. We even had a balcony which we were able to have dinner/breakfast on! Would recommend!

Lovely staff & great location. Room was good, balcony was also very lovely to have. Easy walks to shops etc. Staff would give recommendations for local places to eat or drink, room was clean a little dated but for the price was perfect for us! Would stay again

Nice hotel located well in Paris. Walking distance to Montmartre and Champs-Élysées.|Rooms cozy and clean. The host was very good at recommending locations and restaurants worth visiting, which was a great help to our planning of our holiday. A warm recommendation for people seeking a hotel as a base for exploration of this wonderful city.

Our stay at the New Orient Hotel in Paris was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect, with easy access to the metro. The hotel itself is charming and well-maintained, offering a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Stéphane at the reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly, making us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. His recommendations and assistance added to the overall experience. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return on our next trip to Paris!

Stephan was amazing. We got there early in the morning and he greeted us with breakfast and gave us our room early to start our day. I recommend staying in the small but cute hotel. I would definitely go back.

Google
Such a great place to stay: An independent, small hotel in the middle of a lived-in, not-overcrowded Paris neighborhood. Staff were impossibly helpful and hospitable. (Also I loved the red furniture around, the books, etc. And the breakfast.)

Yelp
I really enjoyed this hotel. It's a simple hotel with basic views we stayed here our first night in Paris because it was a Saturday and most other hotels prices were unbelievable. The service was very friendly and the breakfast was very nice in their cute breakfast room. The room is very small but I really appreciate that the windows closed very tight and we could hear no noise from the outside whatsoever. I really like the breakfast in a quiet room overlooking the street. A lady will serve you breads croissants jam butter etc. and a fruit bowl. Coffee and hot chocolate is also offered. It's a simple breakfast but it will fill you up for your day of to her in Paris. Would highly recommend this hotel for service location and price

Yelp
Back from an amazing vacation with my beautiful and funny cousin Yvette for her birthday to Paris. A major part of what made our vacation so wonderful were the owners of our very Parisian, quaint hotel, New Orient Hôtel Paris, Catherine & Josef Wehrle and their night attendant Aziz Belaid. They were helpful with restaurant recommendations, helping us with getting around Paris and checking-in on us to make sure we where taken care of and having a wonderful time . We highly recommend you stay at our new home-away-from-home in the City of Lights. Merci Taimy & Yvette

Yelp
We found this hotel by total chance and managed a room deal via the internet. We stayed here December 23-27 2017. Our room was on the 5th floor. Like many places in Paris this is a tall narrow building with 5 or 6 rooms per floor. The spiral staircase is a bit dizzying but there is a small lift as well. The room we had was very small but really we didn't need much more. The bathroom is efficient but nice and the hot water can take a little while to reach the 5th floor. The bed was comfortable and there is of course a small safe in the closet. Our room was very quiet and looked out into an inner courtyard with mostly residential apartments. We used Uber to and from the airport at 45€ each way. It's 20€ on the train and requires a train chain in Magenta and the RER E to St Lazaire station. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the station. If you are not familiar with the Paris train system it is a little confusing so do some studying before hand and travel with preparation for the usual pick pocket issues. We walked to the Eiffel Tower, Champ de Elysee, and Louvre. Also some very good restaurants only buildings away from the hotel.

Yelp
Wonderful hotel! Great location in Paris, away from the busier areas. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores and cafes nearby. Eiffel Tower is about a 2.1 mile walk, Avenue des Champs-Élysées is a little over mile walk. The hotel itself was very clean and tended to every day. Our room was tight, but perfect. The balcony was a nice indoor/outdoor space. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Yelp
I could not be happier with the time I spent in this small charming hotel with all the quaintness you'd expect from a place in Paris. This was my first time visiting this remarkable city, let alone overseas. I was a single female traveling alone so was a bit nervous and did not speak a stitch of French. The staff was so kind and helpful pointing me in the right direction with their small complimentary maps each day I set off on my adventure to discover their city. The rooms are small but perfectly decorated and very, very clean. My room had a small terrace that I would leave the French doors open to at night and listen to the nights sounds. This hotel is off of the main district so the noise level is barely noticeably. I slept like a baby........ Everything you want to see is all accessible by walking- Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Seine River, Louvre- Bristro's, Cafes, beautiful shops, and plenty of restaurants.. All within walking distance from the front door. Breakfast (extra) was a lovely added bonus and FREE wifi which saved me since I had no service overseas! This is an affordable, beauty in the city of romance! I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again, no doubt!

Yelp
I honestly think the website photo of this hotel is deceptive. I frankly was not very impressed. The thing that struck me the most was simply the smell of a hotel. It's simply smells musty. From the moment you enter until the moment you get into your room this hotel smells old. This is one of the reasons why I always bring myself I sent it candle to hotel. The carpet on the stairs really needs to be replaced .And the rooms are simply too small. If you're with two people with two bags a piece you barely have room to move around. I did find the location to be acceptable however. Directly across the street is a supermarket and to the left of the supermarket a few doors down is a laundromat. It's not too far from a subway station and a lot of little places to eat breakfast at. I would not repeat only because of the smell of the hotel and the rooms were so small.

Yelp
Very helpful and friendly staff. Location is great mid distance between Arc de Triomphe and Montmartre. There are quite a few restaurants around especially across the Bd des Batignolles. Very clean hotel for it's age. The rooms are small, I stayed at a "single" room, but the condition and cleanliness of the room, particularly bathroom was far beyond many of the more expensive 4+ star hotels. Wifi worked great.

Yelp
We were looking for a centrally located hotel that would not break our bank. The rooms are smallish but very clean and well maintained, nice breakfast and very nice staff & management. I highly recommend this hotel for its value and comfort features. Plenty of attractions, shopping, bars and restaurants nearby.

Yelp
Beautiful and charming hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The hotel staff we so amazing and helpful. The location was great and right where you want to be. There's a small supermarket across the road which is very convenient. I've stayed a few times in Paris and this was the best accommodation of them all.

Yelp
This is the best, affordable hotel in Paris! I just returned from a week and already miss my cozy, immaculate room. I always stay at the New Orient when in Paris and have never been disappointed. As other posts have stated, the rooms are charming, lovingly decorated, and very quiet. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast room is the perfect place to plan your day over fresh juice, home-baked pastries, and other treats.
