New Orleans Cafe

Really good place with nepali arcitecture involvement. It lies in the tourism heart thamel. The food is good too with quick service which is really appreciable. I had ordered BLT sandwich which had really good portion of fries on the side with great balanced taste. The staff there are really good too and i found them really friendly. Totally recommend!

We had amazing time in this cafe. First night of our stay in Kathmandu we spent in their guest house. (It was good but noisy in the evening time because guests of the cafe downstairs stay loud until 11pm) so we had to move out the next day. But we kept coming to the cafe almost every day during the next 2 weeks, for dinner and breakfast sometimes. Amazing food and service. Great cozy atmosphere. And we loved their live music night on Saturday. It was fusion music: sitar, guitar and tabla. Thank you to the hole team for being always so professional and attentive to every guest. Thank you to the owner for creating such a great place where you want to come back.🙏

Stumbled upon New Orleans during my solo trip and it became one of my favorite spots. The vibe is super relaxed, with lovely music, good food, and a warm setup around the fire. It’s a great place to unwind, meet kind people, or just enjoy a peaceful evening. Tucked away in the street, but definitely worth finding. Thank you for the beautiful atmosphere!

This is my favorite place in Thamel - very quiet and cozy, with delicious food. Highly recommended for breakfast. Affordable and one of the best spots in Kathmandu 🇳🇵

This is low season when visiting. Every restaurant in the Thamel area we looked at was empty. This one had about 4 tables so we sat down. Service was great. We ordered the Nepal platter. The food was deliscious. The atmosphere is fantastic. There is a great vibe. We enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend others to try it.

Amazing . Once a year I go to celebrate by myself . Wines good. Music is good food good.
