Let's start with the Parking- Terrible unless you drive the tiniest compact car. Next Beer - strange choices, no good Lagers or Brown Ales, had a flight of fours beers and all four were warm, no where close to cold enough to enjoy. Appetizer - Calamari was good but the serving size was barely enough for two people, and why would you serve frigerator cold marina sauce with a hot dish, needs to be at least warm. Crab Cake - had a good taste, but it was cold. Fries - I personally hate those weird coated french fries, cheap frozen fry. Fried Shrimp - were excellent. Pasta -was excellent. Atmosphere is great, really nice place. Waitress - was great, friendly and energetic. The warm beer and food issues really brought down the experience and didn't provide any reason to come back, and was disappointing for the price it cost us.

This locally owned spot is our go-to in the 757. The food and service are above and beyond. Their rotating food specials are just that— special. Their team is excellent too. We sat and yapped with Jordan, Kyle, and the owners last evening. The speakeasy is stunning and we plan to attend many more dinners there in the future. We love bringing our friends and family here! Bonus for their amazing bourbon selection!!!!

Visited for their Galentine's event. It was a lot of fun. The staff was friendly and the food was pretty good. It definitely makes me interested to try out their regular menu. I liked the vibe of the upstairs area (where the event was held). It looked like an old school speakeasy bar.

The food here is simply amazing, bursting with incredible flavors! The customer service goes above and beyond, and there's such a vast selection of dishes to choose from. Everything I've tasted has been delicious. This is definitely a spot I wholeheartedly recommend!

I had the blackened Mahi tacos and they were absolutely mouth watering. I requested on the side for the cole slaw but they put it on there anyway. Still good and I dont mind getting a little messy. Also they have sweet potatoes fries! Not very many places have them and when they do, I'm getting them! We sat at the bar. Pretty quick service and the bar tender was very helpful in making my decision. It was a hard choice. They have a lot of good options on their menu. Def will be coming back!

New to the area and seen the great reviews for this establishment. I was craving a nice juicy burger after a day of moving boxes and furniture. The burgers were made really well. Everything came out great. The service was great as well. Our server was absolutely amazing and took great care of us. Would recommend others to come try this place. They have plenty of adult beverages as well if your wanting something to drink. The atmosphere is a relaxing one where you can just unwind from the day. Decor and furniture could probably use a little updating as chairs were mismatched and so forth.

This place is amazing! Great people, delicious food and lots of different beers. The “Mac & Rack” could have fed 4 people!!

Traveling from Delaware to NC and came across New River and Im glad I found this little gem. Great atmosphere, food and drinks. The espresso martini was top notch.
