New Tomakomai Prince Hotel "Nagomi"

Fairly new and modern hotel. Minimalist lobby with on site Onsens, steam rooms, large relaxation area with sofas and 2 massage chairs and big TV plus a separate area to enjoy high quality music sound system. The 20 sq m rooms are well designed with adequate circulation space. Very comfortable and clean. Only negative point is the lack of table top space around the bathroom sink. ||This hotel serves very well presented breakfast bento sets or a western set if preferred. Do note these are only available till 8.45 am . We had 2 family members who arrived late and were told they cannot be given the bento sets. The receptionist checking us in highlighted that breakfast was from 7 to 9.30 am but did not highlight that the last order for the bento sets was 8.45 am. We too missed out reading the small prints on the breakfast coupons as they were in Japanese that we could not understand. After some explanation that we were given the impression that breakfast was served till 9.30 am, the staff eventually relented and provided 2 western breakfast sets ( not willing to serve the Japanese bentos). We were disappointed but thankful that at least some breakfast was made available. There is a large drugstore opposite the hotel and a Lawson shop next to the hotel. Overall the price for this location was rather high but it provides a comfortable stay and great breakfasts.

Decently cheap, good vibes. Nice, clean little bathhouse area on the first floor, pretty good breakfast (and again, cheap) breakfast on the 11th floor. They forgot it was included in my room charge, but still made me a full meal even though I got there at closing time (since no one told me when breakfast was…) Overall, a pleasant stay and a good price for all the facilities. Also recommend Ogi Sushi or one of the Izakaya nearby

Our travels to Sapporo was booked at the last moment; so naturally the hotels near Sapporo costs three times as much as this location. So this location wasn’t convenient; but we enjoyed this hotel very much and is worth the inconvenience I believe.||||We had difficulty communicating with the front desk but they do have a niffty gadget that spits out a verbal translation. Worked well.||||We couldn’t decide whether to take the bus or train to get here. Mistakes were made. Don’t take the bus. Take the train to Tomakomai station and take a quick cab ride to the hotel. The cab will cost about yen500 or 600.||||There’s a large department/drug store across the street, great for picking up snacks and drinks. Lawsons is next door.||||The onsen was very good. Only one bath. A bit small but ok.||||The hotel has lovely modern styling. New and clean.||||The best for last. As others have mentioned, the breakfast was fantastic. Upscale, elegant, delicate. Very fine. For two mornings, the choices were very different. The only problem is all orders must be in by 8:45am. Kinda too early for some. But really worth getting up early for. And the view from the 11th floor was great. Breakfast is included in the room fees.

Stunning breakfast with amazing culinary delights. Two bento boxes stacked up contain many tasty seafood treats. Then there is a soup with mushrooms and fish that you heat up while stirring under a small candle flame. Really enjoyed the onsen baths here as well. They are on the main floor and the hotel provides a nice housecoat type outfit to wear down to the onsen.

Its about 1.3km from Tomakomai station. Its onsen were great. The room was clean and well equipped. There is a free bus beside the hotel that brings you to Aeon mall. Lawson combini is beside the hotel.

This Hotel has a very unassuming exterior presence, yet once you are inside ti is breath takin, separate male and female hot spring baths with all the amenities, keyed lockers, shampoos, combs and brushes, towels, sauna, individual bath tubs, laundry facility, morning breakfast and very very inexpensive...

Really nice hotel. Pleasant and courteous staff. Breakfast was included and it’s awesome!
