I had an unforgettable stay at the hotel from Oct 18 to 27, 2025 during my visit at Hong Kong, thanks to the exceptional service. Here are a few highlights: - The morning coffee was delicious and delivered promptly to my room. - The lobby staff were friendly and proactive, always checking in to see if I needed anything. - On my last day, the team went above and beyond to help with my luggage, efficiently transporting it from my room to the lobby and even loading it into my car. Special mention to Edwin, whose professionalism and friendliness truly impressed me. - I also had a chance to explore the hotel’s club facilities, which were well-equipped and nicely designed. The staff provided detailed explanations and made me feel welcome. - The lounge area overlooking Victoria Harbour was a perfect spot to catch up with my friends, offering a comfortable and scenic environment. After a decade away, I’m glad I got to experience the hotel’s warm hospitality. I’ll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

We stayed here for two legs of our 14 day trip and both experiences were exceptional. Check-in was seamless, the staff are ALWAYS super attentive and polite and quick to be of service. The GM was around often and was very friendly and made the stay more welcoming. We did have issues with our room during the second leg but the issues were quickly addressed. The second room, while upgraded, was a slightly dated (just the closet door and the blackout blinds) which were the two areas we had issues with. Edmund, the Guest Relations Manager, provided exceptional service in this regard. The rooms were big for Hong Kong and felt nice and comfortable. The location of the hotel was convenient. Walking distance to both TST and Hung Hom MTR stations. You are also 2 minutes from the Harbour which was also nice because there was always a nice breeze which made walking downstairs, and around, for food much more bearable. Lots of local and international eats around. We would definitely return for our next visit and I would 100% recommend this hotel, especially those with kids because the size of the room made such a difference.

Old, hotel with no insonorisation. You have the impression that every passing person in the corridor is in your room. The so called rooftop swiming pool is a joke : it is too small and old, you cannot swim, you cannot chill outside because the place is a roof and is not adapted for a pool on the top. There is no view from the pool and the place is depressing. Don't even waste your time to go on the roof. There is no bar on the last floor, so decieving. There is something like a lounge but reserved for I don't know what members. You can pay to upgrade and enter but it is only paying for entrance. When we know the number of awesome trooftop bars in lovely Hong Kong, no need to waste time. The view is the only one added value of this hotel. The staff is nice and friendly.

Date: November 17th. Today, my relative just dropped me off at the hotel. I was very happy to finally be able to stay in such a five-star hotel. However, I regret to inform all guests staying at this hotel that while the hotel boasts very luxurious facilities and rooms, it lacks five-star service. Particularly concerning is the concierge. A concierge member, Jackie/Jacky, misunderstood that we were tourists from abroad and didn't know we speak Cantonese. During check-in, we noticed he spoke to us on behalf of the concierge, which made us feel uneasy and demonstrated a very unprofessional attitude. I immediately decided not to stay at this hotel again, and never will. I want to tell all potential guests to carefully consider their choice. The concierge department is supposed to be the frontline department in every hotel, making guests feel safe and comfortable. Unfortunately, it made us very uncomfortable. I'm sorry. I have decided not to stay at this hotel and will also tell my friends that the concierge service at this hotel is extremely unprofessional and I do not recommend staying there.

We moved to Vancouver from Hong Kong 35 years ago, but whenever we're in Hong Kong, this hotel is always our top choice. This marks our fifth visit, and we're impressed that despite being over 35 years old, the hotel remains well-maintained with high standards of cleanliness. Its prime location is unbeatable - just a short walk to MTR subway, 5 minutes to the Cross-Harbour Tunnel, and plenty of bus options to Hong Kong's main areas. The staff and front desk receptionist particularly Chief Concierge Raymond, go above and beyond with their enthusiasm and attention to detail. The bell boy's assistance with luggage was also greatly appreciated. We're so comfortable here Overall we are very happy 😊

We stayed at the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel for 4 nights from 29 Sept - 3 Oct. The hotel had been recommended by Viking Cruises. The hotel is a 5-star luxury hotel and deserves every star! The staff were amazing! We were treated like royalty!! The concierge staff, especially Raymond were beyond reproach. Friendly, helpful, kind and personable, Raymond even walked us behind the hotel to show us water access. He also arranged transport for us to Schenzhen, including information for crossing into mainland China. The staff had all sorts of recommendations for us while in Hong Kong. Communications with the hotel before our trip helped allay any reservations we had about getting to our cruise ship in Schenzhen. The New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel has our highest recommendations!

Absolutely loved our stay here, this hotel truly deserves every single star! A huge shoutout to Mr. Edward!!! who handled our check-in, he was so warm, efficient, and went out of his way to answer all our questions about local spots. The whole process was seamless, no long waits or complicated steps at all.||The room was spotlessly clean, the bed super comfy, and the staff throughout our stay were just as friendly as Edward. The location was perfect for exploring the city. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we’ll make sure to say hi to Edward again! Highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting—you won’t be disappointed!

Every reception team member, breakfast staff has made us feel comfortable, and in good hands since day one. But more than anything, I want to underline the resident lounge’s team, which we will miss dearly and want to thank. Their professional, pleasant and attaching service was a part of our stay that we got attached to and will miss. So to Elvis, Grace, Rachel, Cathy and Zingo, Thank you for that.

Yelp
One of THE BEST hotels I've stayed in - the rooms, amenities, and service were all 5-star worthy. Located next to the harbor, New World Millenium is a beautiful and convenient hotel. Dining options are plentiful nearby, Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR is a 5 min walk, and Nathan Road is a 15 min walk. The rooms were incredibly spacious and clean, and all amenties were provided. Daily housekeeping is available, and the towels/bed linens can be changed upon request (due to environmental conservation efforts). They also provide a large glass bottle of water than can be refilled down the hall. Service at reception was phenomenal. The staff was incredibly professional, and made sure we had everything we needed. When it was pouring outside, they provided a free umbrella for the day. Waiting for an uber? They'll watch out for it for you. Need recommendations? They've got plenty - and they're good recs. Highly highly recommend New World Millenium. By far one of my favorite hotels, and would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel right next to the harbor. I was impressed with the service. I booked the room under hotels.com for the city view and they upgraded to harbor view during checked in. Yes, I was there during the week of protests and unresting nights. At night you could hear non-stop sirens of police cars and ambulances but the room was big and the comfortable bed made the night very easy to fall asleep. The next morning was like a normal day for every Hong Kongs and tourists. We explored and take pictures of the city regardless of the protests. Anyways, I have to mentioned about their hotel bathroom, it is awesome because they stocked Elemis brand which I loved! Elemis is a British skincare products. Good job on using their brand, New World Millennium! The pool on the rooftop is nice, too! I have not tried their breakfast yet but their lunch/dinner buffet was very good, but pricey. Yes, I would recommend this place!

Yelp
Decent place to stay- located in the city right by the harbor, good access to transportation and nice service. Highly recommend if you are looking for a decent hotel in the city.

Yelp
Staying for a week gives a good sense of a place. In this case we noticed that the reception and downstairs staff was pretty bland. After a leak in the floor of our bathroom we got switched to another room but there was no indication they cared much about it. Where we were welcomed with fruit and other amnities upon arrival and in the first few days, after switching rooms it was as if all service stopped. The cleaning staff was great and made up for some of the issues but overall this hotel is nothing special.

Yelp
Have stayed at this hotel a few times. The location is pretty much at the tip of TST East. It's a bit of a walk from either the TST East MTR or Hung Hom station. Service is good and the accommodations, while a bit dated, are still fairly nice. The bathroom and bedside night stands, in particular, could use some updating. Compared to some of the other hotels, lobby area doesn't really have much seating available for people who maybe waiting to meet up with their friends/contacts. They do have a lounge area in a mezzanine area toward the back, but have to get drinks to be seated there... The bar area is not that busy. It's nice if you just want to get a drink and relax. Otherwise, there are plenty of local bars across the street within a few minutes walk. Overall, a pretty nice place to stay.

Yelp
Horrible customer service! The review form Adam sums it up. This is not a 5 or 4 star hotel. Service is likened to bottom of the barrel motels. How can you have a no cancellation policy for unforeseen circumstance, unacceptable and an unscrupulous business practice! Unbelievable!

Adam P.

Yelp
Although the pictures and service look nice on the site, this entire entire hotel and alleged accolades is a sham. My friends and I booked this room though hotels.com and due to violent and unsafe conditions in Hong Kong we had cancel our trip. Over a month before the scheduled check in we called to cancel the hotel and contacted hotels.com. The site is saying is not canceling and will not give us any money back or a credit and the hotel is saying to go through the site and they won't discuss anything with us, and to discuss options with the site. We are getting the run around and in the mean time we are out a lot of money. This is not service of a 5 star hotel and they are getting a windfall. This is a unfair business practice of both entities and it is highly unethical. We cancelled due to good cause and unforeseen circumstances. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL, THEY CLAIM TO BE A 5 STAR BUT ACTUALLY A 1 STAR HOTEL. I am super angry disappointed, and dumbfounded about this. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS, THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER HOTELS THAT WILL WORK WITH YOU. DO NOT BOOK!!!

Yelp
If you are staying on the Kowloon side of the bay, and want the best view of Hong Kong, stay here. 5 star property, great location, service (Raymond Woo) is the best. They really know how to take care of you.
