New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We chose this hotel as the final stop of our Asia journey, celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary, and initially selected it because of the rooftop swimming pool. At the time of booking, we were informed that the pool would be under renovation, and although that was disappointing, we decided to proceed. What we did not anticipate was how remarkable the overall experience would be. From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless. The staff welcomed us warmly, handled every detail with care, and made us feel genuinely valued. As a thoughtful gesture for our anniversary, we received a room upgrade, a beautiful card, wine, and sweets — a surprise that truly touched us. The room was stunning, with breathtaking views of Victoria Harbour that are simply priceless. The hotel’s design, from the floral arrangements to the elegant use of wood in the lobby and elevator areas, reflects refined taste and attention to detail. Breakfast was excellent, both in quality and service, and every interaction with the team reinforced the hotel’s commitment to outstanding hospitality. Our heartfelt thanks to the Guest Relations Team and to all staff members who made our 27th anniversary so memorable. This hotel exceeded all expectations, and we would gladly return.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hong Kong, whether for leisure or business. I chose this hotel because it’s located in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST), in a relatively quiet area surrounded by other hotels. It is, of course, a five-star hotel, and the lobby is absolutely stunning and modern, unlike some older, outdated hotel styles. Pros: One thing I really appreciated is that the room has both a bathtub and a separate shower. Many hotels nowadays only offer a shower, so being able to enjoy a proper bath after a long day was a big plus. The Wi-Fi is very easy to connect to and extremely fast. If you’re staying here for business, this hotel is a great choice, no hesitation needed. The biggest highlight: From the moment I entered the lobby, a staff member helped me with my luggage. This level of service is not something you usually experience, even in many 5 star hotels in Macau or Japan. It truly felt like top-tier luxury service. I was very impressed by how attentive the staff were. When I checked out, they again helped with my luggage and even assisted me in loading it into my Uber. I was sitting at the chair to chill a bit and when I just took my luggage card to take the luggage, a member of staff came to me helping me taking the luggage next to my chair, I don’t even need to walk there. How attentive they are. I was so impressed. I would also like to give a special thank you to Bobby Tse. During checkout, I didn’t need to queue at the counter at all, he came directly to me and handled everything smoothly. He also asked if I had any feedback. I mentioned that the floor lamp in my room (14th floor, club access room) wasn’t working, and that the door lock wasn’t very sensitive, it usually took about a minute to open each time. These issues didn’t bother me much, except at night when I wanted to read and had to use the bedside lamp instead of sitting in the lovely chair by the window. I hadn’t reported these issues earlier, but I mentioned them to Bobby because I didn’t want the next guest to encounter the same problems. I could see that he carefully noted everything down. About four hours after I checked out, I passed by the hotel and he recognized me immediately, came over, and told me that the issues had already been fixed. I was truly impressed by how quickly they resolved the problems and even followed up with me. Bobby is an incredibly attentive and caring staff member, and I’m very grateful for the experience. Everyone at the hotel was polite, professional, and genuinely attentive. I’ve been telling people that this is a five-star hotel with a six-star experience. If I had to mention one minor downside, it would be that the hotel is not right in the center of TST, so you may need to walk a bit from the MTR station. That said, everything else was fantastic. This hotel will definitely be my first choice whenever I stay in Hong Kong again.

Very good location. Staff is nice, especially Mr Raymond Chief concierge. We actually did not book this hotel for our trip but accidentally being dropped off at its lobby. Appreciate the help from Concierge that they helped us to move the luggage to the next door hotel.

This was our third stay at New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. We have stayed here twice during my birthday, and each time the hotel thoughtfully surprised me with a birthday card and a cake. Such a warm and personal gesture truly made me feel special and appreciated. It’s these little touches that keep us coming back. We visited during a very busy period around Chinese New Year, yet every single staff member, from the lobby team to housekeeping, made our family of four feel incredibly welcome. Traveling with two children isn’t always easy, but the team treated us like family. Our kids absolutely adored the staff and even learned a few Cantonese phrases from them! It was heartwarming to see how comfortable and happy they felt throughout our stay. There was one small incident during our stay regarding a damaged headboard. The team initially thought we had caused the damage, but I explained that it was already there when we arrived. Considering how busy it was during the Chinese New Year period, we completely understood how this might have happened. What truly impressed us was how professionally and quickly they handled it, within five minutes, they apologized sincerely, acknowledged the misunderstanding, and resolved the matter. That level of accountability speaks volumes about their service standards. On the day we checked out, it happened to be the night of the Chinese New Year fireworks, and taxis were unable to access the hotel entrance. We had to bring our luggage to a nearby side street. Even though we had already checked out, one very kind staff member went out of his way to help us with our luggage. We had only really noticed him toward the end of our stay, but even behind his mask, his kindness and positive energy were so clear. Our children felt it too. We truly hope that the staff member who helped us on our checkout day is reading this. We are so sorry we didn’t catch your name, but please know how much we appreciated your kindness. If the hotel management happens to know who he was, we would love for him to receive our heartfelt thanks. This hotel consistently delivers not just comfort, but genuine warmth and hospitality. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

The room on the 13th floor offered a fantastic view of the skyline (see photo). It was pleasantly spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Right next to the room was a lounge, which we unfortunately never used. The breakfast restaurant was good and varied. The staff was friendly and well-trained. The MRT station is very close by, and you can easily walk to the harbor promenade. The hotel is very good, and the location is ideal for visiting Hong Kong.

It has been many years since we’ve been to Hong Kong and I can say that this hotel is far better than anywhere we have stayed before. The rooms are modern, spacious and the staff were excellent and very helpful. |The location is very convenient as everything is well within walking distance. |Overall a great experience ||I would especially like to acknowledge one of the staff in particular. Jackie Ngan has been an outstanding ambassador for this hotel. He stood out as soon as we arrived, with a warm greeting to resolving even our most trivial issues, nothing was to much trouble and he was always able to help. |He has truly made our stay even better and we will definitely be giving this feed back to our travel agents as we feel more people need to experience this on their stay in this wonderful city.

Overall the experience was good. The room is spacious (for one). Gym has essential equipment. The service was professional. The lounge bar is particularly good, with a more than reasonable wine list (although probably requiring a more regular update). The two issues I had during my stay were a bit unacceptable for a five-star hotel. The first one is that there was not hot water for shower for the first day of my stay. Spoke with the hotel and the next day the issue was resolved. The second one was a bit more mysterious. I took away the bottle of Solaia 2011 to drink in the room the night before. One third of the bottle was gone mysteriously when I left the room the second day. Spoke with the hotel and the feedback I got was that the housekeeping team didn’t even notice there was a bottle of wine in my room. Hmmm…very expensive tip I would say. Probably won’t stay at the hotel again but will come back for the lounge bar.

Fantastic Hotel. Reception staff were fantastic. Lounge bar had a lovely duo singing on our 1st night. Only issue is with the service charge,bit cheeky. Also Service charge at breakfast buffet? Food was excellent, rooms nice and warm, excellent bathroom, shower and a bath.

One of THE BEST hotels I've stayed in - the rooms, amenities, and service were all 5-star worthy. Located next to the harbor, New World Millenium is a beautiful and convenient hotel. Dining options are plentiful nearby, Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR is a 5 min walk, and Nathan Road is a 15 min walk. The rooms were incredibly spacious and clean, and all amenties were provided. Daily housekeeping is available, and the towels/bed linens can be changed upon request (due to environmental conservation efforts). They also provide a large glass bottle of water than can be refilled down the hall. Service at reception was phenomenal. The staff was incredibly professional, and made sure we had everything we needed. When it was pouring outside, they provided a free umbrella for the day. Waiting for an uber? They'll watch out for it for you. Need recommendations? They've got plenty - and they're good recs. Highly highly recommend New World Millenium. By far one of my favorite hotels, and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel right next to the harbor. I was impressed with the service. I booked the room under hotels.com for the city view and they upgraded to harbor view during checked in. Yes, I was there during the week of protests and unresting nights. At night you could hear non-stop sirens of police cars and ambulances but the room was big and the comfortable bed made the night very easy to fall asleep. The next morning was like a normal day for every Hong Kongs and tourists. We explored and take pictures of the city regardless of the protests. Anyways, I have to mentioned about their hotel bathroom, it is awesome because they stocked Elemis brand which I loved! Elemis is a British skincare products. Good job on using their brand, New World Millennium! The pool on the rooftop is nice, too! I have not tried their breakfast yet but their lunch/dinner buffet was very good, but pricey. Yes, I would recommend this place!

Decent place to stay- located in the city right by the harbor, good access to transportation and nice service. Highly recommend if you are looking for a decent hotel in the city.

Staying for a week gives a good sense of a place. In this case we noticed that the reception and downstairs staff was pretty bland. After a leak in the floor of our bathroom we got switched to another room but there was no indication they cared much about it. Where we were welcomed with fruit and other amnities upon arrival and in the first few days, after switching rooms it was as if all service stopped. The cleaning staff was great and made up for some of the issues but overall this hotel is nothing special.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times. The location is pretty much at the tip of TST East. It's a bit of a walk from either the TST East MTR or Hung Hom station. Service is good and the accommodations, while a bit dated, are still fairly nice. The bathroom and bedside night stands, in particular, could use some updating. Compared to some of the other hotels, lobby area doesn't really have much seating available for people who maybe waiting to meet up with their friends/contacts. They do have a lounge area in a mezzanine area toward the back, but have to get drinks to be seated there... The bar area is not that busy. It's nice if you just want to get a drink and relax. Otherwise, there are plenty of local bars across the street within a few minutes walk. Overall, a pretty nice place to stay.

Horrible customer service! The review form Adam sums it up. This is not a 5 or 4 star hotel. Service is likened to bottom of the barrel motels. How can you have a no cancellation policy for unforeseen circumstance, unacceptable and an unscrupulous business practice! Unbelievable!

Although the pictures and service look nice on the site, this entire entire hotel and alleged accolades is a sham. My friends and I booked this room though hotels.com and due to violent and unsafe conditions in Hong Kong we had cancel our trip. Over a month before the scheduled check in we called to cancel the hotel and contacted hotels.com. The site is saying is not canceling and will not give us any money back or a credit and the hotel is saying to go through the site and they won't discuss anything with us, and to discuss options with the site. We are getting the run around and in the mean time we are out a lot of money. This is not service of a 5 star hotel and they are getting a windfall. This is a unfair business practice of both entities and it is highly unethical. We cancelled due to good cause and unforeseen circumstances. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL, THEY CLAIM TO BE A 5 STAR BUT ACTUALLY A 1 STAR HOTEL. I am super angry disappointed, and dumbfounded about this. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS, THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER HOTELS THAT WILL WORK WITH YOU. DO NOT BOOK!!!

If you are staying on the Kowloon side of the bay, and want the best view of Hong Kong, stay here. 5 star property, great location, service (Raymond Woo) is the best. They really know how to take care of you.
