Complete lack of reception staff, gross grimy floors, beds that are uncomfortable and feel flimsy, broken window panes patched up with black binbags, sweating your skin off in a room with no AC and 5 (or 9!) other people snoring, 3 flights of steps to get there which stink of piss - really not ideal. The only good thing is the location. And the price, of course. If you're really desperate for a cheap place to stay in Warsaw, go ahead, but be prepared to spend your whole time in the hostel wishing you had spent just a little more money on a nicer place...

Due to the low quality of the extension lead in my room, my phone charger was burnt and there was no electricity for two days. The hotel did not take responsibility for this loss and did not pay any compensation for the charger. Additionally, the hotel has problems with homeless people in the entry, who sometimes sleep there and piss on the floor. For a longer period of time, the hotel is not a good choice. It's located next to the very loud street, so if someone wants to get some sleep, it is very hard. I was also in a very unpleasant situation, where in the middle of the night a man checked into our room, which was intended only for women. This situation was the only thing the hotel decided to give me compensation of 55 zlotys. Also the contact with the owner of the hotel is very hard. There is only a phone number and each conversation is difficult, because she is very emotional and interrupts every time you want to say something and even if you have proof for your case, this actually doesn't matter at all, because the owner is so persistent that your rights as a guest won't matter. Anyway, I don't recommend this hotel, I wanted to save some money, yet it would be better to pay a little more for better accommodation than here, since I ended up buying a new phone charger. I hope this opinion will help. On th either hand I recommend strongly the booking customer support, which tried all their best to help out and due to whole situation gave me an award for my next trip.

Do not go to this hostel. If I could rate it zero stars or even negative then I would. They are supposed to send you 'self check in' details via email. They did not. There is no one at the reception desk to help me with this. I have called the number that is online, and displayed on the reception desk 7 times. No response. I have now been waiting here for 6 hours, to have some form of contact from someone, anyone, to help me with my issue. Someone already staying here had to initially let me into the hostel, otherwise I would still be stuck outside with all of my luggage. He showed me he did not receive any emails from them either. Maybe this is just unlucky for the two of us that we've been skipped with the emails, but with the knowledge that it is something that can happen, I would not recommend it worth the hassle.

You need a Polish number to get the code for the door. Hostel is on the top floor without an elevator. Many people live in this hostel full time. No staff after hours. Shower drains have water traps removed, so the bathrooms smell like sewer gas. Management does not want to address the problem and blame it on residents. Cleaning is done thoroughly every morning. Coffee is great. Putting water traps back is the easiest solution, but management does not understand this huge problem. Sewer gas goes into the rooms at night. I had to place plastic bags filled with water over the drains to stop the stinch. Great location, great hostel and cleaning staff.

There is no employee to help. The hallways smell heavily of cigarette smoke. The locks on the closets in the room don't work. The only good thing is the location.

If I could give 0 star, I would. Booked 2 days in advance. Instructions said hostel was code entry and I would recieve it in an email 24 hours in advance. Never did. No reception desk even in check in hours. When I didn't receive it, i called and called and called. No answer on phone. Got stranded outside the hostel with nowhere to go.

The area is lovely (if not a bit loud) but my only concern is that the keypad never worked. For one hour today I was locked inside the room while another guest was locked outside trying to get in. No one entered the phone when I called and eventually I got a text message accusing me of not being able to use the keypad. I’m a bit ok educated man who has been backpacking for three years now. **** update, after the review was read, the owner of the hostel said I was not allowed to keep my luggage there because of my assessment.

I stayed in this hostel yesterday and have very unpleasant experience. The staff was very rude from the very beginning. We were a group of people from Ukraine, speaking Ukrainian among ourselves. None of us speaks Russian. Despite this, the staff constantly spoke to us in Russian, even though we addressed them in English. When we explained that we didn't understand Russian, they responded with “всьо ти панімаєш" ("yes you do"). After that, our 8-digit password to enter the room was somehow changed without our knowledge. Whether this was intentional or not, it's concerning that your room can be locked without any warning. Additionally, towels cost 40 PLN. Pros: - Coffee machine - Refrigerator - The location in the city center Staff's rudeness was unacceptable and unprofessional. Do NOT recommend.

Yelp
Small hostel on one of the busiest tourist streets in Warsaw. First, beware that you have to go up to the 3rd floor without elevator which is inconvenient with heavy luggage. Second, the whole building is a bit damp. There are fans everywhere to countereffect but it works only minimally. In addition, the rooms are not the cleanest. I'm staying In a 10 bed room so I understand it might be hard to keep that clean but at least the area around and under a freshly cleaned bunk, should be taken care of too. Apart from that, personnel is friendly, the kitchen and bathrooms are clean and kitchen and small common area have quite some facilities to offer and are cozy. However, I might pay a bit more and stay in another place. Btw, the hostel lies in the party area but that doesn't mean this is a party hostel.

Yelp
Tried two different times to double charge our card. A good value room, but be sure to check your credit card statement after. These people are not to be trusted.
