"A basement Basque dining spot within a cultural center serving regional specialties and leisurely, two-hour meals; shared plates included squid in ink with rice, fried bacalao, and a bean stew with blood sausage, the latter standing out as the meal’s star." - Paula Aceves, Margalit Cutler
This place excels in multiple areas. You're seated immediately and staff works fast! Each dish arrives with that right-from-the-kitchen quality. I have only praise for this restaurant, and you'll understand why. The experience here justifies the cost.

I went to the House for a Basque Halloween dinner party. The food was amazing, just as expected. The house is low key from the outside but beautifully decorated inside with pictures from and books on the Basque country. The ambiance was great and everyone enjoyed the party.
