Got tickets to see Lisa Lampellini at the New York Comeday Festival tonight, and was so disappointed we walked out half way through the show. To call it a comedy show was a little far fetched, it was more a counselling session for the so-called story tellers to try to be funny as they tell their traumatic weight loss stories. What’s worse, the comedians were reading from their scripts and the dramatisation was purely slapstick over-exaggeration with no wit involved. Purely disappointing.
