Promising Breakfast, Disappointing Dinner. We enjoyed a satisfying breakfast here with a hearty omelette, bacon, eggs, and pancakes, but dinner was less impressive. Service was slow and inattentive, even when the restaurant was quiet. The beet and feta salad was bland, though a generous portion, and the shrimp dumplings were flavorful but limited in quantity. By the time we left the restaurant was busier, but overall the food and service felt underwhelming. A pleasant option for breakfast, but we would not return for dinner.

I have a lunch with my friends at this restaurant. Beef steak and saussages are so good. The price is a quite high for tourist but compare to the foods, it's acceptable. We have to wait for about 30 minutes but that's normal when you have a lunch on a restaurant right on the crowded Cannes street

I recently dined alone at New York, in Cannes. Their menu offers a wide range of options, from burgers to fish or traditional french dishes. Despite it being a busy week, due to Cannes Yachting festival, the service was quick and I didn't have to wait (I went there quite early, so that might have helped). The food was great, with generous portion: I tried their salde César poulet and it was delicious. The prices are medium for Cannes and for the area.

During our visit to Cannes, we decided to stop for lunch at a restaurant right in the heart of the city, surrounded by the elegant shopping streets that the French Riviera is famous for. The location was perfect—easy to reach, close to the boutiques, and ideal for a little break while exploring the city. We ordered a Caesar salad with bacon, which came in a generous portion. The presentation was neat, and it felt like a complete meal on its own. The chicken was perfectly crunchy, adding a nice texture to every bite, while the bacon gave the salad a smoky flavor that balanced well with the fresh lettuce and creamy dressing. It was definitely filling and satisfying. To accompany my meal, I ordered a glass of white wine. The wine was crisp, refreshing, and paired beautifully with the salad.—exactly what you’d expect from a lunch in Cannes. It was filling enough that one of my friends couldn’t actually finish hers and asked the staff to prepare the remaining salad for takeaway. Unfortunately, there was a little mix-up—the staff accidentally threw the salad away instead of packing it up. To make up for the mistake, they kindly offered us two complimentary coffees. It was a thoughtful gesture and showed that the service was attentive and genuinely concerned with customer satisfaction. The coffee itself was rich and smooth, a pleasant surprise to end the meal. The price, however, was on the higher side. Spending around €100 for three people at lunchtime may feel a bit pricey, but it’s also quite normal for a central spot in Cannes, especially one that offers both convenience and atmosphere. While it wasn’t the most budget-friendly meal, the combination of location, taste, and quality made it worthwhile. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch experience: tasty food, good wine, nice staff (Anouar) and an easy-to-reach location right in the middle of the city’s shopping area. If you’re exploring Cannes and looking for a place to pause, enjoy a meal, and soak in the Riviera charm, this restaurant makes for a solid choice.

queued for 15/20 mins for a table of 4, you'll get in quick if there is only 2 of you.. the portions are big, you can share starters and mains. we enjoyed it, really cool vibe, food was nice and came out quickly

Attentive staff, nice ambiance at outside. While the service was excellent, the inside atmosphere was heavy due to the strong bass in the music. The burger was absolutely amazing – cheese burger.

I visited with a few friends from college after a long day at the beach, as we were looking for a good steak and wine. We were fortunate to discover this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I ordered a steak myself (though I can’t recall which cut), while at our table we had the Noix d'Entrecôte Argentine and the Bavette Black Angus — both excellent choices. We also shared a bottle of red wine, Maranges 75cl, which was presented and served beautifully. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.

“Children are Very Welcome” We wanted to spend a nice family evening (2 adults and 3 children aged 10, 8 and 5) in December to celebrate the birthday of our youngest son. It was a rainy night, and when we arrived around 7:00 pm there were not many people on the street nor in the restaurant. You should know that this restaurant does not take reservations and “filters” guests at the entrance. At the door, we were told that only one table for four was still available. We agreed, but when we were shown to the table, it turned out to be a very small table suitable for a maximum of three people, placed directly next to the entrance. This was particularly surprising as the restaurant was about 50% empty at that time and remained so until we left around 9:15 pm. It really makes you feel “welcome” with children when you are placed at the worst possible table, while other guests are seated comfortably at tables further inside the restaurant. The food itself was okay. The burgers were a bit dry and, in our opinion, would benefit from a different cheese than Emmentaler. The pizza, however, was very good. This could have been a lovely evening, but we were very disappointed to be treated this way simply because we had children. Being made to feel unwelcome as a family was frustrating and sad, especially on our child’s birthday. I sincerely hope that, one day, the person managing the entrance will understand how unfair and hurtful this kind of treatment feels when experienced from the other side.

Really liked this place. Good food and beer. Try the Abby draft, really really good draft. We had the cream fresh pizza which were out of this world. Ohh for the kids. Mac and cheese. Is really totally cheezzzyy

Excellent food and nice open space that feels like your outside, but still protected from the elements

The service was good but the food was average. The ribs were not tender. I ate them because I was hungry and I didn't want to waste food. The pasta was not good. In fact it was the worse we had while in Italy. Up until that point all of the food was good. The second issue was the birds. It was hard to eat with a lot of birds flying right above you head and walking around you on the ground. It was like it was their home. Very uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place.

Delicious food, lots of outdoor sheeting with plenty of room. It feels like a little piece of America in France. Drinks were tasty and the service was good! We can for dinner and drinks one day- awesome experience so we came back for dessert and drinks only, they told us that their tables were for full courses only, but let us anyway.

Tourist trap but worth eating at. It's located on the main street in cannes right across from casino. The burger I had was juicy and delicious and the fries very crispy. Lots of seating and excellent service- a great place to have an afternoon snack or lunch and sit.

Incredibly slow service for the large number of staff. We got tired of waiting and left.

I have tried this restaurant at the recommendation of a friend of mine and is is quite great, the location is near the port, very spacious, they have an impressive staff. Their speciality is meat, so if you are into that this is a great place to go to, beef mostly but also other dishes, even seafood, but I myself think their forte is meat.

Look I love this place but most people who work here that we've had to deal with are *awful* and not just in the traditional French awful service sense, wholly awful. It's too bad because I like the food and drinks a lot. Most French restaurants don't excite me in the slightest but they have some amazing stuff. The pizza, fries, mint julep which you never see around here, the sirloin, incredible. But the service, the people, this place needs to upgrade. It's very popular also and doesn't take reservations, also not ideal

After a nice day of walking the Boulevard de la Croisette we stopped in for a coffee and a light snack. The coffee was not that much better, but the location took it to another level. It was good coffee. I also had the crepes with Nutella. If you find yourself lucky enough to be on the French Rivera on a beautiful sunny day, stop and have a coffee and think how amazing it is to be there.

(Sept.2017 lunch) My friends and I were shopping on the Promenade de la Croisette street, but didn't want to spend too much time eating lunch, knowing that the restaurant service in Europe is typically slow-paced. Not wanting to default to the McDonald's we were standing next to at the moment, we looked around in semi-desperation, and spotted... the New York New York restaurant. We looked at the menu, spotted dishes that caught our eye, and in we went. The hostess asked us if we wanted indoor or outdoor seating (the restaurant wasn't packed at the time). It was nice and sunny that day, so we said outdoor. But barely a minute later, it got too hot. We told the hostess, sorry, but can we sit indoors instead? No complaints; she obliged and showed us another table indoors that was near the outdoor seating area, facing the street. FYI: the restaurant's walls were all glass doors that were all opened (b/c of the nice warm weather), so there was no actual wall dividing the indoor and outdoor tables. But our table spot was nice and cool, under the shade. There was a table near us sitting outside that started smoking, but luckily the second-hand smoke didn't fly indoors toward us... The actual street is several yards away from the restaurant (but still visible), so you don't have to deal with smoke or noise from cars passing by. The waiters (all wearing blue aprons) stand around the restaurant, on the lookout for any customers that wave them down, which I thought was a nice touch - there was no need to hunt for someone for service. They had limited English, but we didn't encounter any issues. The food came rather quick, so our wish for a quick lunch worked out. The restaurant was only half full at this point, which may have helped with the speed. I ordered Truffle Risotto - It was delicious for the first several bites, but afterwards I struggled to finish it because the cream and truffle flavor was too rich. I'd still recommend the dish, but be prepared for a very rich flavor. My friends ordered Penne Arrabiata, and Linguini Bolognaise, and both enjoyed their dishes as well. Overall, it was a nice dining experience; tourist-friendly; clean & spacious dining space; attentive waiters on standby; clean multi-stall bathrooms; and a nice view of the street for people watching.

Very bland food. Stale bread. Zero covid protocols. Rude hostess and bus boy. 2 stars for the nice waiter...

I like this place, and have eaten here more than once, but the service is bad. Waiters have attitude and are really slow to come to your table, even when you wave them down. Cocktails are nice, but priced on the high side. I would come here again because I like the menu, but I never expect to be wowed by the service.

Stopped by Cannes for lunch and decided to give this a try. Ordered the Chinatown and Linguini Bolognaise. It was a bit overpriced, but the food was delicious. I loved the Chinatown salad, more like a Thai style salad to me.

I let my fiance decide, and this is what he chose. I'm sure it's like he looked around and it was the first place he saw. So, I'm thinking I should provide some input. The service was kind of sketch. We both had steaks, and it was good but not really that flavorful and maybe more on the dry side. The eggplant was a nice option for a side dish, but yet lacked flavor like it was roasted or grilled but it just felt like it was missing something more. My fiance and I have eaten our fair share of steaks to say that this was mediocre, and I feel like we could have found a better spot of food to our liking. The prices were ok, but it's more of the view that will get you sitting here more than anything.

Rude Non-Service. May 19 @ 2:20. Young waiter serving first row refused to serve us coffee and desserts because we did not want a full meal. Policy? Maybe. Rude. Yes. Never scceptable to be rude to pepple. Waiter needs some lessons with manners.

Nice place! It's big and they fit in bigger groups of people easily. The service was rather confusing at times, but in general the staff is friendly and accommodating. Their menu is extensive... Burgers, muscles... Something for everyone. Don't expect haute cuisine, but a warm and friendly casual breakfast, lunch and dinner place.

The food was good, steak exquisite but the customer service was god awful terrible. I have been here multiple times and the waiter are slow, have snapped at me on multiple occasions and need to be asked multiple times for certain things. The only reason I rate this 2 star is the food

This place was awesome.Muy manifique. (don't think that is correct but I tried). Anyway, we had a wonderful meal and everything was cooked as requested. I love that they allow dogs into the restaurants everywhere in France and Switzerland. this was no exception. we ordered some steaks (filet and strip). They were both very taste. Dessert was also awesome. The service was very good. The rest rooms clean. everything was very pleasant. I highly recommend this place for a nice evening, celebration, special occasion or just a nice night out with your partner.

Nice patio and great people watching during the festival. Next time, I'd just have a glass of wine on the patio and bypass eating here. The food is...well, it's not up to the French cuisine standards that I had become accustomed to. The gluten free seafood pasta was over cooked and the sauce very watery. They were quite generous with the seafood, however, I would hope so at 22€! The rack of ribs was tough and chewy, no falling off the bone here! And the BBQ sauce on the ribs tasted like any standard grocery store brand. The grilled corn was tough and dry. The rose wine was crisp and the only decent thing that passed my lips in this restaurant.

This place used to be one of our favorites with good and friendly service. Over the years the quality of the food has gone down, the service (if you can still call it that) is terrible and the prices have gone up... obviously ;). The place sill packed during regular times... it's well located making it a great tourist trap. There are so many choices in the area; strongly suggest to try the other options and skip this place. Time to close it, change management and bring in a new concept... our last visit was very bad, we thought it was an exception and tried t again and everything was worse than before.... not a roller coast but a sinking ship.

Not bad burger but it's very big, the bread is too crumble, also too much juicy, and about me it will be the first and the last time.

Im still waiting for the waiter to bring us our bill. The waiter was really rude and was rushing while we did not make our decision what to order for drinks. The food was okay, nothing special. We orderded a ceasar salad, an entrecote and a salmon steak. The salmon staek was overcooked and dry, the entrecote was okay nothing spectacular. Overall food is okay, but would not come back due to the bad service.

Came for a day trip to Cannes and struggled to find a place to eat that wasn't either exorbitantly priced or where the waiters were practically forcing you in the door. Surprisingly enough New York New York was neither and also was situated right in the centre of town near the harbour. I decided to go for the chicken fajitas which which turned out to be delicious and great value for money. I found the staff very attentive yet not annoying and the atmosphere relaxed even though there were around 50 other diners there at the same time as us. Although this place might not be considered the 'authentic French cuisine' I would not fault its variety and service in such a demanding and upmarket area of France.

Perfect spot when you cannot decide where to go to eat. The menu has everything you can wonder about! Sushi,burger,pizza,steaks,salads,pasta, lots of side dishes - you cannot believe that food can be such a good quality and such a perfect taste when the variety of choices is so large! It's a great place for breakfast,lunch and dinner. Cocktails are very good, bartenders always smiling and welcoming. Something that you must try in this place is Chicken Caear Salad! Desserts are wonderful too. Can't wait to be back!

Bad service bad food, french fries taste fishy, probably because of the oil they use. We ordered pizza, worst pizza I ever had.

Busy American pub style restaurant serving American size/style food. As long as this is what you are after then all is good. The best thing about this place are the couches you can relax in whilst chatting with your friends. It's usually busy, especially during the conference weeks so get there before the crowds if you want a decent people watching spot. I was going to give a 3 as it nothing special, but then again sometimes what you really want is a decent burger whilst sitting in comfy armchairs.

It wasn't a good experience at all: - They change the Steak to a better quality piece after we complain. - We were a group of people were there, and only one 5 years old girl was holding a sandwich when e get in he Resturant, and they refused to let her in with the sandwich. The girl had to stay outside the Resturant for 15 min with one of her parents to finish her sandwich and then they let her in. - service was good inside. - Quality of food very normal, nothing special.

The worst steak I've had in my life, without exaggeration. I'm an EU and US citizen, been to Cannes and France many times, lived half my life in Italy. I'm not really a picky eater, pretty happy most of the time. But the Ribeye I got was the toughest, least enjoyable piece of meat I can recall. In their defense, they did bring me a new steak, which was pretty good. My Korean dinner companion didn't really like her steak.

Food was incredible. Desert in particular. But ... fly was flying near the table and then landed inside my bottle. By my request they changed the bottle but charged me twice. Sad accident and not appropriate reaction from the management.

This place was very mediocre and had a menu like an Applebee's in the States. The food quality was not very good and one of the beers was turned. I probably would not have bothered to review this restaurant except for the bad service by one of the waitstaff. Most of the waiters were very nice and responsive but the waitress who handled the check was not. As she accepted my credit card she told me I could leave the tip on the card. I always leave at least 20% tip and when I'm in Europe, if it is not "service compris" (service included), I tip as if I was in the US. If it's service compris, I leave additional tip. Here I pointed out to the waitress that it said tip was included. She said that I was wrong and that just means "the boss" gets the money, not the waitress. I hope that's not true, but told her how much to add. She ignored the amount I told her and added more. It wasn't worth arguing about it and losing time, but based on the food and unfortunate service, I would not go back. There are many outstanding options in Cannes, but this is more of a one-time tourist restaurant.

Poor service - I had to ask the same waiter for a bottle of still water 3 times before eventually getting one. The steak I had was nice but not worth the 28 euro price tag. I had been there for a few glasses of wine earlier in the afternoon when it was less busy and that was enjoyable and relaxing, however I would not recommend eating there for an evening meal.
