Newari Kitchen

This is no longer a restaurant but a cloud kitchen where the food is cooked and delivered. I ordered sapu mhicha and picked it up myself but it was too hard to be eaten when we got home. Even heating it didn't work and had to throw it away even though this was an expensive dish. Rs 380 for 4 pieces and I had taken 8 pieces sadly.

Incredible restaurant with such an array of Nepali cuisine. Meat eaters and vegetarians will find lots of choices, and even if you are not familiar with Nepali cuisine, the staff members are really nice and will explain the menu. I recommend getting a set menu, that way you can try a bunch of different dishes. I got their Nepali veg, and my friend got their Newari meat that comes with buffalo (buff) and chicken options. The difference between Nepali and Newari are slight, mostly different with spices used and various vegetable choices. They have two types of rice, one is a flat crunchy rice and the other is regular steamed white rice. The crunchy rice is great, you can ask for a sample if you are unsure. But the dishes mixed in with the crunchy rice are delectable. They have a nice selection of wines. You can take the bottle home if you don’t finish it. Priced very decently for the beautiful restaurant.

Genuine Newari fare. If one is seeking a variation on classic Nepalese flavours, then I would highly recommend a visit to this charming establishment. It is especially good for vegetarian and even vegan options. Original flavour combinations abound, such as bamboo and potato pickle, 9 legume broth, lentil patties with tomato and sesame chutney. Very attentive service. Reasonably priced. The set meals are especially abundant.

one of the best meals I had in Nepal. The curry was rich and the noodles and pancake were excellent. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean and peaceful. It is definitely a place to check out !

The food is really horrible really need to upgrade the food quality. Just putting the name newari is not sufficient to be newari food provider.

Such a nice place. It’s cuisine of local nation Newari. Good atmosphere, soft and muffled light, tasty food. I can suggest yomari-Chaka for dessert, it’s like a dumpling with sesame and something like chocolate. Also good newari set meal, many small dishes are here. Can take common liquors as well as common tea.

I like the place. The peach tea is great. I highly recommend you try. Moreover the ambience is scheduled but also cozy. The wooden tables and comfy orange cushions makes you feel homelike. The service is nice and they are friendly as well. The place is well maintained and clean. The price is affordable. For this place- Service- 4/5 Ambience- 5/5 Food- 4/5 View- 3/5 Overall I give this place a solid 4/5 star. I'll definitely be back here for more.

Great place with great font the service and hospitality awwsome. A bit small but great place. Didnt try newari but loved what i ordered briyani, pasta and jhol momo
