We had a fantastic experience. The hotel is very quaint. The rooms were comfortable. The front desk staff were excellent. They helped with luggage and provided delicious restaurant recommendations. The location is ideal. Newbury Street is full of fun restaurants and shops. Walking distance to so many things.

Wonderful spot if you like 'boutique' hotels. Perfectly positioned on Newbury. Mile walk from Downtown. The rooms are a little small, by modern standards. But, not if you are interested in a uniquely attractive Brownstone, beautifully clean, with a modernized bathroom. May not have the size of a sterile, modern, 20 story hotel, but has a lot more soul. Price/value was well worth it.|Each member of the staff, as I met them, was nicer than the last.|Ask for a 'Bay Window Room, if possible'.|Convenient parking on site.

The Newbury Guest House was an excellent place to stay while visiting Boston. It was not only quaint, it was also very accommodating! The staff was always willing to help. The onsite parking for a reasonable fee was also a great convenience. Any problem you might have, is quickly and fairly addressed. The neighborhood is great for walking. You are close to the Prudential Center and the Boston Public Library. Many sites are just a short Uber or Lyft ride away.||There is also a nearby grocery store with lots of basics and goodies. Voile, the next door restaurant was a wonderful French restaurant. The Bittersweet Coffee Shop was a great place for breakfast. You literally have dozens of restaurants within walking distance. ||We will gladly return to this historic gem when we visit Boston again!

We wanted our last night in Boston to be at a quiet, small, independent place with character and charm, preferably on Newbury Street. We got everything we wanted with the Newbury Guest House. It has character, the staff is great, and Newbury St. is right out the front door. Our “Luxury King Room with a view” was just that and it was at a great rate. The Newbury Guest House is now our go-to place for our future trips to Boston.

I love that there was coffee 24/7 and some one was on duty 24/7. The guys at the desk were very helpful with luggage and checkin/out. Very courteous and had great recommendations for breakfast. The rooms were comfortable. Glass wine glasses in the room would be a nice addition when you can add them. We really appreciate you getting us a van to the airport at 4 am. Thank you.

This was our second time staying at the Newbury Guest House and it was just as lovely! The front desk staff are courteous, kind, and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Our room was clean. The parking fee is more reasonable than nearby chain hotels. The hotel is in a perfect location on Newbury Street. Love this cozy hotel-you will too!

Such a gem of a place! If you come to Boston this boutique inn is a fabulous place to stay. It is ideally situated on Newbury Street so getting to a variety of places is easy. The service is outstanding; they have real, brewed coffee rather than throwing a Keurig in the room. I stayed here two weeks ago for several nights; this was my second visit. From now on this will be my go to for staying in Boston.

Fantastic venue, and ambience - friendly staff, helpful and considerate. This is a high value option for a Boston visit - have been visiting here for business for many years usually staying in the higher end hotels you all heard of, and just wish I had found this place that far back. Comfortable, clean and totally worthy of its Newbury St address.
